Hazel adjusted her clothes, and they sparred a few more times. After the girl was thoroughly exhausted, the sparring finally stopped.

She plopped to the ground like a starfish.

Kaiser looked at her toned and graceful body for a moment, then shook his head. It felt like someone had been manipulating his thoughts recently.

’Goodness gracious...’

It had been a while he said that too.

"Were you able to gain anything from the spar?"

He asked, leaning against the wall and staring daggers into the inactive automatonon.

On the ground, Hazel nodded weakly. "Yes. I could easily identify my mistakes with your pointers, and I corrected them with your... advices. Huh, looks like you’re the one who did all the teaching again."

Kaiser just shrugged. "It isn’t that signing. At least to me."

None of them said anything after that, only resting in silence. After quarter an hour, Hazel finally regained the strength to move.

"Alright. Let’s head back. I’ll treat you to lunch in school tomorrow."

Kaiser shook his head. "No need."

"Why?"

Deciding to be sarcastic, Kaiser snickered. "If others see me with the black-haired demon general of Class-E, what would they think of me? My reputation would plummet!"

Hazel just stood there, looking at him with an incredulous expression.

’Is this really Kaiser? Making jokes? Doesn’t seem right?’

Kaiser noticed her strange expression and walked over. Gently, he placed a hand on her head.

"You don’t have to be tense all the time. Let loose."

He ruffled her hair playfully, then turned around. "Let’s go."

Just like that, the matter if the lunch was buried.

......

Two days later, everyone was back in their classes, including the previously suspended Gaga from Class-A.

Instructor Rina walked into Class-E, wearing a professional pencil skirt that hugged her curves perfectly.

Her white office shirt did a poor job though, barely restraining her mountains from spilling.

Still, despite looking so seductive, few students dared to look at her that way. Rina wasn’t just a random school teacher, after all.

She was an Evolved, capable of killing everyone in the class if she wished. Well, almost everyone. There were some students who could still narrowly escape from her grasp.

"Settle down. Your first paper starts soon. When I hand you the papers, don’t turn it over until I say so."

Giving them a stern look, she adjusted her glasses and began distributing the test scripts.

No one turned it over like she had said. Even if they wanted to do it behind her back, the cameras in the class were watching then from every angle.

After distributing the papers, Instructor Rina returned to the teacher’s seat and sat down.

"You can turn it over and start now."

To their horror, the first subject was Advanced Mathematics. The headache-inducing subject for all students.

Soon, the class was enveloped in utter silence except for the shuffling of pens on paper.

In less than thirty minutes, Kaiser dropped his pen and laid his head on the table.

His action didn’t escape Instructor Rina’s notice and she immediately turned to him.

"Kaiser, done?"

She asked, drawing the attention of the other students to Kaiser.

The blue-haired boy nodded lazily.

Rina’s brows furrowed, and she said. "Bring it. Let me see."

Unexpectedly, he denied. "Instructor, I’d rather wait until everyone is done so you can come take it."

The class was shocked by his attitude. Wasn’t that disrespectful to her?

Rina smiled, stood up, and walked towards him. Grabbing the papers on his table, she read them carefully.

She couldn’t help but feel astonished, wondering if it was the school that set questions or Kaiser himself.

"Not bad."

She returned the scripts with a smile that was unnerving.

"Meet me in my office by lunch break."

The boy paused, then nodded faintly. Rina returned to her seat, continuing her job of monitoring the students.

The exam ended after an hour. Although the questions weren’t too much, it was enough to occupy them for a full hour.

Rina gave them a one-hour break before distributing the next papers to them.

After three exams, the students were already feeling drained. The ring of the bell for lunch break was like divine music.

Some directly slumped on their tables, mentally exhausted. Meanwhile, others rushed to the cafeteria to eat.

Kaiser stood up quietly without paying attention to anyone and left the classroom.

He walked straight to Instructor Rina office, ignoring the looks he received from the other instructors.

Thankfully, that blonde Class-B instructor wasn’t here to disturb him this time.

He knocked on the door to the office, then walked in.

Rina raised her head from the test answers she had been checking through.

Seeing him, her expression relaxed ever so slightly, and she removed her glasses.

"Sit."

Kaiser was obedient and sat in the cushion, even crossing his legs and resting his arms on the armrest like a mafia king.

"What is the matter this time, Instructor?"

Rina’s expression hardened into complete seriousness, and she asked.

"Kaiser. Have you finally decided to join the class competitions?"

Instantly, a frown appeared on his face. "No. What made you say that?"

Rina was disappointed, even though she already expected it.

"I saw that you actively helped a few of your classmates with study for this midterm exams. I thought you had finally changed your mind."

Kaiser shook his head. "That was just because I was mimicking someone. Nothing strategic."

Rina sighed. "You seriously don’t want to do it? I know you have a lot of credits on you right now, so you don’t really care. But soon, it’ll finish and you’ll have to rely on the credits gotten from the class."

Kaiser leaned back and sighed. "Don’t say that. I can surely make a lot more credit. I just haven’t gotten serious."

He looked like he was bluffing, but Rina clearly knew he wasn’t.

After all, he hadn’t done anything since the last time he leased the cameras.

"Then let me ask you... what can I offer you for you to actively participate in the class competitions?"
