But the next moment, the man almost coughed up blood as he saw the scene ahead. Much to his disbelief, Victor brought out a picnic cloth, laid it down on the ground, and took a seat.

"Sit down, we can watch a fun show. It might be more entertaining than a blockbuster. Relax," Victor said to Amber and Eleanor with a smile. Amber had an excited glint in her eyes, as if waiting to watch a good show. Eleanor was the only one who had a weird look and refused. "I am on bodyguard duty, so I can’t."

The man heard Victor’s words and fumed even more. ’This bastard thinks watching me get run down by wolves is more entertaining than a blockbuster?!’

"He is not afraid of the wolves!? Then he should rescue me instead of lying down!"

The man wanted to curse Victor’s parents as he thought, ’Just what kind of manners have they taught him for him to ignore the plight of a fellow human?!’

If Victor knew his thoughts, he would laugh to death.

"Fuck! I need to get him to help me no matter what!"

The man, having no better alternative, gritted his teeth and rushed toward Victor and his group at full speed. Victor’s eyes narrowed when he saw this, and a playful smirk appeared on his face.

He was dozens of feet away from Victor when a wolf pounced on him.

The sharp claws pierced his back, and blood flew out. The man stumbled and fell onto the stream, his head smashing against a rock

He ignored the pain and took out a gun from his shirt. He aimed the gun at the leader of the pack and then pressed the trigger. Much to his horror, the wolf twisted its body to dodge.

"Damn!" The man wanted to cry and regretted not bringing a guide with him.

"Right, a guide... hey, aren’t you a guide? I saw you last time. I want to hire you!" the man shouted toward Eleanor.

"Not interested. I am already on guard duty, and... you also rejected my offer," Eleanor said with a smile, which caused Victor’s lips to twitch as he thought, ’She is petty.’

The leader of the pack opened its mouth wide as it moved toward him.

The man suddenly took out the stone and threw it onto the boulder where Victor and the girls were sitting.

"This bastard." Amber clenched her fists upon seeing this, and suddenly the air around her started to turn cold.

Eleanor, who had already brought out a sword to prepare for combat, looked startled as she looked at Amber and saw black frost forming on the picnic mat and muttered, "Ice Warlock."

It’s not like she had never seen Warlocks before, but she had never seen a Warlock in the Kingdom who used ice, and what’s more, she used black ice, which seemed to be a mutation. ’Which family does she belong to?’
