The place where the Lightning Serpents had struck was completely destroyed and replaced by a sea of raging blue fire that looked beautiful yet terrifying at the same time. Even from the distance she could feel terrifying heat from the blue flames, as if it could burn her to cinders if she went too close

"Heavens..." Edward’s eyes bulged as he felt a chill run down his spine while staring at the massive flames. He swallowed hard as Victor was becoming more and more of a monster with each passing day. Even Former Lord Soreil, who was Tier 4, could not have come out unscathed from that attack. He muttered, "Is it over?"

"Looks like it," Amber said as she looked toward the corpse of Soreil, which seemed to have lost all life force and was being rapidly devoured by the flames until nothing remained but ashes

Victor, on the other hand, sighed and felt a slight sense of loss as he looked at the corpse of his father burning to ashes. "Hah, Victor, they might have looked like your parents, but they had already died. They were just undead."

Victor patted his cheeks and then looked at the new notification that appeared on his retina.
