For those who cannot have a Warlock Bloodline, getting a contracted beast is the best option to grow stronger, as some of them can easily kill powerful warlocks and allow their users to wield the beast’s power through their bond.

Victor remembered that there was a player in the later stages who managed to contract with a Legendary-rank beast and rivaled the heirs of the top families who had powerful Warlock Bloodlines. Just hearing this should tell how powerful a contracted beast could be—and he got a Mythic beast egg. Of course, this only applied to high-ranked beasts; there were others with low-ranked beasts who could only serve as mounts in the later parts of the game.
