Galaxy Fall: All My Skills Are Maxed
Chapter 267: Clash of the Titans
The ten students turned fully around, their boots crunching against the pulverized asphalt. They stared at the wolf-human standing before them, his suffocating aura pressing down on their chests like a physical weight.
"Do any of you know what he is saying?" David asked in confusion, his mind struggling to process the entity’s strange, multidimensional words.
"You are bothered about that? I am still thinking how a monster turn into a human." Violet said in disbelief, taking a step back, her knuckles white around her staff. The biological impossibility of a beast condensing its mass into a humanoid form defied every law of Galaxy Fall.
"Are you a monster or a Human?!" Kent yelled at the man, his voice echoing off the ruined skyscrapers as he readied his cracked shield.
The spirit general tilted his head, his green eyes burning with arrogance. "I was sent to this low place just for someone, all this time, I haven’t seen this person... And I also can’t go back. Anyway, at least the humans here aren’t that bed... The only bad thing is that I had to share them with other creatures, those low lives aren’t even scared of this general--"
"--Hey! We don’t give a fuck about you! Did you attack us so you can tell us how miserable your life have been?!!" Yi Chang yelled at him, drawing his sword. The sharp schwing of the blade cut through the general’s monologue, Yi Chang’s swordsman intent flaring as he refused to be cowed by the beast’s oppressive domain.
The demon’s lips curled upward, exposing razor-sharp fangs. "I came here because some of you are different, you have the energy from Galaxy Fall around you... You were all brought here by something or someone. So if that perst or thing can take me back, I won’t kill all of you... What about that deal?" He asked, a sinister grin on his face.
"Whoever you are. We don’t give a fuck..." Yi Chang yelled at him, his grip tightening on his hilt, perfectly ready to die fighting rather than submit to a monster.
"Oh? Seems you can’t keep your mouth shut! I will have to kill you first, maybe then, the rest will submit and obediently lead the way!" He said. Instantly, the boiling shadows beneath them erupted. Dozens of dark tentacles shot towards Yi Chang with deadly, supersonic speed, bending the space around them and not even giving the elite swordsman the chance to raise his blade to defend.
"You dare attack my teammates?"
A new voice, cold and terrifyingly calm, severed the tension.
WHOOSH!
Everyone only saw a blinding flash of divine light. In a fraction of a second, all the shadowy tentacles were cleanly cut into halves, dissolving into harmless black mist. A massive white figure blurred past the students, tearing through the sound barrier as it moved towards the spirit general, and a heavy, glowing paw flew forward.
"This?!!" The general gasped. Recognizing the lethal threat, his humanoid form violently unraveled. The dense spirit energy instantly transformed his body back into his colossal, twenty-meter black wolf form, and with a desperate, primal roar, he lunged towards the incoming white light.
BOOOOM!!
A concentrated blast of blue and purple lightning shot out from the blinding white light. It smashed directly into the black wolf’s chest, bypassing his innate defenses and sending the massive beast flying backward into the ruined city blocks like a discarded toy.
BOOOOM!!!
It smashed violently into the ground, cratering the street and leveling two adjacent buildings. The Great Wolf Demon choked, spurting out a massive mouthful of highly corrosive, dark blood.
"Impossible!! I am immune to lightning attacks!! How can your lightning affect me?!!" He yelled, frantically getting back to its feet, his glowing green eyes wide with horror as he stared at the majestic, white winged tiger now casually standing before him.
"Do you think my lightning is the same as those low level lightning?" Cupcake asked coldly. With every step she took, the oppressive shadows around them violently scattered, literally running and evaporating away from her presence.
"You?! What sort of spirit beast are you?!" The wolf asked, his pride deeply wounded. He forcefully expanded his aura and grew twenty-five meters tall, returning to his absolute highest size to intimidate his foe. He sneered, looking down at the seemingly smaller Cupcake: "Do you think you’re---"
He froze mid-sentence. Space warped, and in an instant, Cupcake stood 50 meters above him, having exponentially expanded her true form. Her massive, regal head was now looking down at him as if he were an insect. She was a literal mountain of white fur and crackling lightning. Even the low-tier monsters miles away across the Dead Zone could clearly see the huge white tiger illuminating the dark clouds, but none dared to take a single step closer.
"You were talking?!" Cupcake asked coldly, the rhetorical question vibrating through the ruins. And with a casual swing of her massive paw, she struck the wolf, sending him flying miles away, his massive body destroying entire rows of ruined skyscrapers and kicking up a massive dust storm.
"What sort of Beast is this?!" David asked in absolute shock, his jaw dropping as he stared at the towering winged tiger, who seamlessly seemed to be protecting them.
Nina, her hands trembling, quickly accessed her Galaxy bracelet and checked the white tiger’s System profile:
[Information.]
[Name: Cupcake.]
[Stage: Realm Boss.]
[Origin: Unknown.]
[Level: Lv380.]
[Traits: Unknown.]
[Attack: 38,000,000.]
[Health: 38,000,000.]
[Defense: 38,000,000.]
[Agility: 38,000,000.]
"I... I don’t understand, this Cat’s level is clearly weaker than the wolf, but how can its stats be this high?!!" Nina yelled in sheer disbelief, her mind unable to reconcile the math. A Lv380 possessing thirty-eight million stat points completely broke the known scaling laws of Galaxy Fall.
"Did Galaxy Fall made a mistake?" Violet thought, staring blankly at the floating holographic window.
"I don’t think so, that Wolf isn’t even the Cat’s opponent, it proves the stats difference." David said with a heavy sigh, realizing just how vast the gap between ordinary beasts and divine entities truly was.
"Hey." Someone called out from the back of the group, suddenly drawing their scattered attention.
"So... Do any of you know why this Tiger is helping us?" He asked, his logical question instantly stunning the entire group.
That was right. Who on Earth, or even in the higher realms, commanded such a divine tiger? They all knew their Captain, Mirabella, had a small, seemingly harmless pet cat, but absolutely none of them had ever seen Cupcake unleash this apocalyptic form.
BAM!
Miles away, the wolf violently jumped out of the deep crater and ruins he was buried in, fiercely shaking the concrete dust from his head. With a furious step, he crushed the small, fleeing monsters on the ground under his paws to vent his rage, his glowing green gaze locked furiously on the distant Cupcake.
"You are too powerful; no one can send such a powerful Beast here. Are you also from the Third World?!" He asked, his voice booming across the dead city, staring up at the Tiger who was still twenty-five meters bigger than his maximum form.
"You aren’t qualified to question me!" Cupcake roared. She raised her massive paw high into the ashen air. The chaotic purple and blue lightning around her abruptly vanished, replaced entirely as a terrifying, blood-red lightning appeared crackling on her palm, the ultimate destructive element, getting ready to deliver the final, annihilating blow.
"Cupcake, Hold on."
A completely calm, authoritative voice reverberated all over the ruined cityscape, magically amplified, easily reaching the ears of the two gigantic Beasts and the stunned students below, instantly freezing Cupcake on the spot.
