Galaxy Fall: All My Skills Are Maxed
Chapter 268: Empress’s Decree
The ten Students froze. They recognized that completely calm, authoritative voice too well. They all slowly looked over their shoulders, their eyes widening as they saw Mirabella walking towards them through the ruins. Her blue hair was practically styled in a ponytail, and her striking, cold blue eyes were fixed unblinkingly on the gigantic wolf. As she moved, her dark overcoat moved in the choking ash air.
"Captain."
The students exclaimed in immense joy, the sheer relief nearly causing some of them to collapse.
"Huh? Master, you want to spare this overgrown dog?" Cupcake asked in genuine surprise, her booming, divine voice reverberating all over the dead city.
"Get down here."
With that single, absolute sentence, the laws of space warped. Cupcake instantly shrunk in size, shedding her massive thirty-eight-million-stat Realm Boss form. Turning back into a harmless-looking white cat, she flew gracefully towards Mirabella, gently landing on her right shoulder and purring softly as if she hadn’t just leveled half a city block.
Seeing the cat again, the ten students behind her were so stunned, their jaws literally dropped in shock.
’You kidding me!!?! That Little cat!! How...’ David was completely speechless, his mind failing to connect the apocalyptic lightning tiger with the fluffy pet perched on Mirabella’s shoulder.
’How strong is the Captain? Not only does she have a powerful summon, she also has a powerful pet!’ Yi Chang thought in deep reverence, staring at Mirabella’s back.
The demon wolf spirit raised a massive, jagged eyebrow, completely bewildered, but not daring to attack:
’What is this?! That Tiger is an Emperor Spirit Creature, how come she is like a pet before this Human? Who is she?’ He thought, staring intensely at Mirabella, his guard fully up. His predatory instincts were screaming at him that this tiny human was infinitely more dangerous than the divine beast.
"You said you’re a general from the Third World, right?" Mirabella asked, her tone entirely conversational, staring up at the huge wolf before her.
SILENCE....
The ten students looked nervously at one another, then back at Mirabella. In the ruthless hierarchy of Galaxy Fall, not answering a direct question from a powerful entity was a clear sign of utmost disrespect.
Mirabella merely chuckled lightly, a chilling sound devoid of any real warmth. She leisurely turned her head to the side, her passive senses picking up movement. A pack of massive, mutated red fur werewolves were running madly towards them from the alleyways, their glowing eyes completely filled with mindless bloodlust.
Mirabella evaluated the wolf general’s silence. He boasted of his past as a Ninth-star cultivator, but in the grand cosmic hierarchy, his lineage was trivial. He was merely a spirit creature. He couldn’t even measure up to a normal god bloodline, let alone the true ancient bloodlines that belonged to the primordial ancient god beasts and gods. To her, his pride was laughable.
"Hmph, I will have to enter the Third World to see this spirit creatures with my own eyes... You also said you were a Nine-star cultivator, but... Why are you only a four star now?" Mirabella asked casually, and smoothly stretched her left hand out towards the pack of werewolves rushing towards them.
"I actually planned to capture you and slowly interrogate you, but I already have someone from the Third World under my command."
With a mere thought, the absolute, vampiric void of her core flared. An invisible, catastrophic force smashed into the frontline of the wolves. Instantly, they all dropped dead mid-stride. There was no struggle, no elemental flash—just the instantaneous, total deletion of their vitality as 100% of their health was flawlessly siphoned directly into her bottomless core.
’This?! How did she...’ The wolf was completely stunned, his green eyes dilating as he moved his terrified gaze all over the place, utterly failing to detect any energy signature from the slaughter. ’I have to run.’
Mirabella narrowed her cold eyes at the World Boss. Acting purely on survival instinct, the massive beast shattered into dark smoke, forcefully merged with the ambient shadows on the ruined ground, and instantly vanished from sight, stunning Cupcake and the ten students who had thought the battle was about to escalate.
{Two skills Copied: Shadow Merge, and Energy Tracker.}
’This fool actually showed me more skills to copy, oh well, I will give you a light death.’ She thought.
"There are still stupid people in this world... Seems earth hasn’t changed." She remarked smoothly. She raised one pale hand, and with a sharp, echoing motion, snapped her fingers, simultaneously activating the Sun family absorption technique, and her supreme domain skill: The Almighty.
Instantly, the ambient colors of the world drained away into monochromatic gray. Time slowed down to an absolute crawl for exactly ten seconds. The falling ash froze mid-air. Within those stretched ten seconds, Mirabella’s domain expanded like a cosmic singularity. She violently absorbed all the monsters’ healths and spirit energies within a ten-mile radius from her location, instantly making the whole massive plot of land a completely barren, non-monster zone.
{Congratulations, Host gained 1.5billion Exp.}
{Congratulations!! Host levelled up.}
{Current Level: Lv410.}
’1.5billion exp only gave me ten levels... This is crazy.’ She thought, lightly clenching her fists as she felt the fresh surge of energy solidify in her pathways. The exponential scaling curve of the God-level tiers was incredibly steep. And after ten seconds, the world flooded with color again as time started moving normally.
"Let’s go."
She said flatly. She turned around and walked away, casually passing the entirely stunned students who were still trying to process the absolute slaughter they had just half-witnessed.
[World Competition Announcement: Captain Mirabella from the dragon academy’s team has completed both first and second Objectives.]
".....?!!!"
The ten students present, and every single living student scattered throughout the ruined city, were completely dumbfounded. It had barely been just one day of the planetary drop, and Mirabella had already completed two monumental objectives that were supposed to take three days of reluctant battles. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
"One day?! It hasn’t even been one hour!!" David yelled aloud, his voice cracking as he stared at the glowing blue text on his holographic interface.
"Let’s go, I will help some of you get to the fourth round... But only those who are Lv100 above... If you are below that level, stay back and just try to get some points for the team." Mirabella said clearly into her Galaxy bracelet, broadcasting the information to all her surviving teammates.
"Find a way and get to New York University... Although it’s now in ruins, you won’t miss it. I will be waiting for you all there." She said, her tone leaving no room for argument, and abruptly disconnected the call.
’On earth, no one can monitor us, so I am free to start picking my first new fighters in my guild... What I mean by "First New fighters", I mean World Bosses... Time to see how powerful the third stage of the Mental Overlord is, as a God level skill, it won’t fail me.’ She thought, her ambition burning fiercely. If physical force wasn’t enough to build her empire, she would forcefully rewrite the wills of the strongest monsters on the planet, and turn them into her slaves.
Without a backward glance, the space around her warped, and she teleported away with a sharp crack of displaced air, instantly bringing the ten students behind her along for the spatial jump, stunning them all once more as they vanished from the alleyway.
