He noticed the rain wasn’t going to stop anytime soon, so he faced Nora and suggested they find an inn where they could at least stay until the rain stopped.

Nora nodded and the two held each other’s hands as they ran out into the middle of the street together.

As they dashed toward a nearby inn, their feet splashed through puddles that had already formed between the cobblestones, but Nora suddenly stopped running as she let go of Austin’s hand.

A naughty idea had crawled into her mind, and Nora saw this as a chance to create a really memorable moment between them that would stick in their minds for years.

Meanwhile, Austin noticed Nora had stopped, so he turned around wondering why, but before he could ask anything, two fast-moving droplets of rain splattered against his face.

"What the...?" Austin almost cursed, but a new set of raindrops fired straight at his cheeks and jaw, and a loud cackle of laughter followed right after.

Of course it was Nora.

Who else was it going to be.

She had coated her eyes and fingers with mana, and this gave her some very special benefits.

Being an enhancer, Nora had the ability to enhance certain parts of her body with mana.

It could be her eyes, fists, or any other part of her body.

As long as she was able to control the amount of mana circulating in a certain part of her body, there was nothing she couldn’t do as an enhancer.

And right now, she had flowed mana to her eyes, allowing her red eyes to glow even more crimson.

This also allowed Nora to easily view the droplets of rain falling in slow motion, and with her fingers coated with mana, she was able to easily aim and flick raindrops at Austin.

"It’s payback time!!" Nora laughed maniacally as she launched even more raindrop attacks at Austin.

This was her chance to punish Austin for all the embarrassing moments he had put her through all day.

In fact, it was also her chance to get back at him for all the teasing he had been doing since he stepped out of the Chan Household that night.

And right now, their giggles could be heard through the rain as Nora continued her attack.

However, a large and long pair of hands made completely out of mana shot out of Austin’s back to sweep Nora off the ground, causing her to fall into the huge puddle underneath.

Seeing this, Austin’s laughter grew louder.

It was his turn to laugh now, and man, did it feel good.

However, Nora wasn’t sharing the same feeling, and she immediately rose to her feet to chase after Austin, who dashed away as well after noticing the scary look on his wife’s face.

But after a long and exhausting chase, Nora finally caught up to him.

Then she dashed forward to leap and wrap both her legs around his waist and both her arms around his neck, but Austin caught her with his hands grabbing her firmly by her buttocks, making sure she wouldn’t fall.

However, Nora didn’t mind, and she instantly slammed her lips against his in a deep kiss.

Austin held her tighter and kissed her back in what felt like an eternity.

After a while, the two finally pulled apart from the kiss with Nora now resting her forehead against his.

They both stayed like that for a moment, simply breathing heavily while smiling at each other.

They were both soaked to the bone, but strangely enough, they could both read each other’s minds at that moment, and both knew exactly what they needed to do next.

Time passed, and the two rushed toward the inn they had spotted.

They giggled like two people who had lost their minds as they approached the innkeeper to lodge for a room.

The innkeeper remained neutral as he watched and attended to the two lovebirds, who seemed to be soaked to their bones and probably their minds as well.

Of course he noticed the lip stain marks still visible on Austin’s lips and face despite the rain, but he didn’t think too much about it as he received payment for their room.

Once done, Austin and Nora climbed the stairs together.

Her wet boots squeaked against the wooden steps and Austin’s did the same.

But upon reaching the door of their room, Austin opened it to have a look inside. "What do you think?"

He asked, but Nora didn’t bother to answer as she kissed him once again while her white soaked tail slammed the door shut behind them.

The moment the door slammed shut, Nora’s soaked white tail had already begun flicking with excitement.

Their lips crashed together again as they slowly undressed at the same time.

Their clothes could be seen hitting the floor piece by piece, with Austin’s shirt being the first, followed by Nora’s damp dress, leaving a messy trail from the door to the bed.

And so, with that out of the way, Austin effortlessly lifted her, allowing Nora’s legs to wrap around his waist as he carried her and laid her down gently on the soft mattress.

His body slowly hovered over hers, then he captured her lips again, and this time his tongue slipped past hers, tasting the sweetness of her mouth as their lips moved together with a wet, passionate sound.

Feeling overwhelmed by his intense burst of emotion, Nora moaned softly into his mouth while her hands slid up his back to grip his shoulders.

Her nails lightly pricked his skin in her eagerness to keep this going a little longer.

But Austin pulled back just enough to trail kisses down her jaw, then to her neck.

He suckled gently on her sensitive neck, then trailed a few more kisses down her chest where his lips came into contact with her soft and perky breasts.
