Chapter 142: Azaria Vs Zorat III

Watching Azaria’s response to her present situation was a great delight to Zorat.

She could have reacted in many other ways, which Zorat might have considered boring, but instead she chose to go the route of putting everything on the line.

It was a stubborn act, stupid even. But it definitely earned her points in his book.

Zorat smiled in satisfaction as he said to her..... "Okay, Azaria. Lets dance!"

At the drop of Zorat’s last syllable..... Azaria arrived with the wind, sending a thunderous gut punch straight into the side of Zorat’s spine that threw him back several paces, with his bare feet tearing out the soil underneath him for several meters.

"Ah.....spicy."

Zorat muttered, grinning as yet another heavy punch came directly at him, aimed for his head.

Putting up both his hands in a cross, Azaria’s punch landed explosively on him, the shockwave blowing Zorat pack a few extra paces, tearing out large trees from their roots in the carnage.

Every hit Azaria dealt was followed by a loud explosion that rang through the forest.

Trees were felled, and craters sprang to life wherever she made contact with Zorat, her speed slowly picking up with every punch and retreat.

Azaria was running literal circles around Zorat, attacking from multiple angles at the same time, too fast for him to keep up as the punches kept coming.

Zorat would guard with his hands and play at blocking to give her the impression that he was being pressed.... When in reality.... None of her hits was causing any damage to him, and Azaria seemed to have realized this as well, as she suddenly stopped.

Her long, luscious, dark silver hair was now messy and ruffled as she looked menacingly at Zorat with her defiant violet eyes.

"Why.... why aren’t you fighting back ?!’ Azaria yelled out of breath as she saw Zorat just standing now with his hands behind his back amidst all the carnage she’s wrought, still with that grin she found so vexing on his face.

"Are you sure you want that ?....." Zorat’s calm voice reached Azaria’s ears as he walked up to about a few feet from her.

"If I were to actually fight back..... You will die."

Azaria was quiet for a while before a slow smile of acceptance began to spread on her face as she responded.

"So be it then. I will die as a demon of noble blood..... Not as a forgotten faceless demihuman."

She added with a fierce look in her eyes. And the more Zorat watched the young lady, the more satisfied he became, as his own smile drew wider.

Controlling his Limitless might spell, Zorat brought the power down to Azaria’s level, removing the impenetrable function as he beckoned her with his open palm...

Zorat knew Azaria was faster, but what he had, and she lacked, was ample experience and ingrained battle instincts that had been sharpened through millennia.

And he would use just a little bit of that experience to have some fun with her.

"Heheheh..... Careful now.... I will be fighting back...."

"Entertain me...... Azaria."

Azaria wasn’t sure what had changed, but she was certain something had.

Either way, the more she’s in the presence of this annoying young man, the more her blood burned hotter, and even the fact that he just said he would be killing her didn’t seem to faze her.

Azaria smiled as she vanished from her spot, appearing right in front of Zorat for a devastating blow....

But unlike before when Zorat would simply receive her hits with his impossibly durable body, this time.....He dodged to the side.

Grabbing Azraia’s outstretched punch arm, Zorat heaved her off the ground before attempting to slam her on the forest floor, but Azaria twisted mid-air, freeing herself from Zorat’s hold and landing on her feet a few feet away.

Azaria had a look of shock at Zorat’s sudden change in fighting style. Though he still just stood there and was simply observing her with a grin on his face, unlike before, now....

She could see no openings whatsoever.

’How is this possible ?!’

It felt almost like he could see her move even before she had made it. The more she saw of this monster, the more in awe she became.....

and the more intensely her heart pounded, and her emotions ran wild as they dwelled in this chaotic moment.

Azaria felt it was hatred. She hated his guts, his cheeky smile, and his annoying grin. However, now she wasn’t even sure. And that confusion pissed her off even more.

She needed a strategy since it appears her speed won’t cut it anymore.

She needed to somehow get him bound, so she could deal as much damage and remove that cheeky look from his face.

As this thought ran through Azaria’s mind, before she could even get enough time to organize her next move, Zorat’s punch was already speeding for he skull.

She wasn’t even sure when he moved, but because she was faster than him.... She saw the punch coming, and she could easily dodge....

At least that’s what she attempted to do.

The moment Azaria thought she had successfully evaded Zorat’s punch.... His knee came crashing into her guts, knocking out the air from her lungs as she was thrown backwards several paces, landing flat on her back.

But before she could relax, Zorat’s punch was already descending straight towards her head, where she landed, as she only managed to get out of the way in a split second.

Using that momentum, Azaria wrapped both her legs around Zorat’s arm that had formed a massive hole on the ground, as she grabbed his hand between her legs, rolling over and bringing Zorat with her to the ground before he had time to retreat.

"Got you!"

Azaria uttered in rapid gasp as she flipped Zorat to his back, before beginning a series of rapid pummelling.

Zorat, of course, reciprocated as he, in turn, flipped her over as he returned the pummeling as both of them exchanged blow for blow, rolling through the flattened forest with rapid booming sounds of their punches tearing through the air.

Strangely, they both were now laughing in an almost unhinged manner while they traded explosive punches with one another.

After more than a minute of this brutal, earthshaking exchange, they came to a stop by the side of the only still-standing tree in their immediate vicinity.

Azaria was on top of Zorat, her palms on his chest, as she was breathing hard with her mouth open and a wide smile on her face.

Her body was covered in dirt, and most of her black satin dress was torn in several places.

Zorat was also breathing hard on the floor with his arms spread out on the ground.

He had a satisfied smile on his face as that was the most mortal fun he had experienced since arriving in this world.

Then he noticed something had suddenly changed about Azaria.

With her on top of him, her earlier playful and freeing smile had slowly transformed into a deep, heated look with her large cleavages heaving more rapidly as she stared silently into Zorat’s face.

Before Zorat could make any move, Azaria had leaned into him, her large breast pressing softly to his open chest as her lips met his hungrily.
