Chapter 141: Azaria Vs Zorat II

It was unnatural.

Azaria couldn’t sense anything from this person.

Not the use of his mana, not the use of an artifact or an armament, not even the use of any special skill whatsoever.

And yet he was able to take on all her strikes and come out completely unscathed?

It felt almost like he was toying with her.

And even though she was starting to see just how dangerous this person is, she still has that burning longing to wipe that annoying grin off his weirdly handsome face.

Seeing that he had no intention of answering her question, and only scrutinizing her with that annoying look of his, which only serves to piss Azaria off even more.

But she was already out of mana....

There was just one other option. She was going to use her trump card.

"Seeing as you have no intention to speak..." Azaria said, standing up straight, still breathing hard as her sword disappeared from her hand into her storage bracelet.

"I guess I have to draw the answer out of you.... Right before I kill you," she added as an ominous, black-crimson energy began to slowly emanate around her, completely transforming her aura to something feral and bloody.

"You wouldn’t be too surprised by this, right? After all .... You already know who I am." Azaria said with a grin curving her pretty lips as her energy exploded outward, covering her entirely in its squirming chaotic flux.

"Hehehe.... Now we are talking." Zorat smiled seeing this, but then, he suddenly turned to the south.....

Between two large trees in that thick forest, he suddenly felt a presence watching them. But as soon as he did, the presence vanished.

He had brought Azaria quietly, deep into the woods, so the chances that it was someone from where they had set camp were unlikely....

and it might just be a wild animal this time. But weirdly enough, the presence sort of felt familiar to Zorat. But after some thought.... Zorat decided to forego that and concentrate on what’s right before his eyes.

The angry young lady whose bountiful chest was heaving heavily from equal anger and fear as she prepared for something monumental.

Zorat was quite intrigued by the constitution of this young lady.

She is able to use multiple types of energy, probably due to the changes brought about by her special skill.

And now both mana and demonic energy dwell in unison within her when she’s only at the paragon realm.

She was actually very strong for one at her realm, and if any other person below her or even at her level at the paragon realm were to have been on the receiving end of those attacks....

They would have been diced into bits and pieces.

She was just that unlucky since she happened to have met someone like Zorat.

And he was also using her to test the efficacy of one of his acquired spells that had been running perpetually, since the moment she first initiated her attacks....

Limitless Might.

Though it would not make him as fast as her, because Zorat’s body was technically still at the master realm, he was still several times stronger than her and basically unbreakable to those at certain realms, as long as he had this spell running.

That’s one of the benefits he gained from reaching the master realm, allowing his spells more room to express themselves without his body crumbling from the weight.

Zorat was curious to see just how much this young demon was capable of...

Well, calling her a demon doesn’t seem to fit anymore, since she’s clearly a fox beast race demihuman. And it’s also just her ears that show her demihuman part.

Humans and beast humans have been in a mixed relationship for a long time in the world of Arleria, and if you take the time to check, they are at least half of its population. Properly intermingled and sharing equal rights and values.

And that particular detail doesn’t seem to matter to demons as they regard them all collectively as humans. Both humans and demihumans alike.

But Zorat was already aware that the person before him now had only taken the form of the real knight commander. He wasn’t exactly sure how her special skill works, but he already got the gist of it.

Now he was curious to see what else this sexy young woman had up her sleeve as he patiently awaited her deadly move.

Just then, Zorat felt an invasion inside his body, as a foreign feral force began to slowly take control of his blood.

Azaria was in full concentration.

This was an ultimate technique of the Draven line, different from their innate inherited special skill: They are taught this technique from a young age, and they grow to master it at different levels.

This was also her father, the demon lord’s ultimate technique.... And a technique that will surely destroy this naive young hero, who was being so arrogant.

"Demonic Blood Arts..... " Azaria began saying as the energy around her pulsed intermittently, converging atop her open palm into a surging ball of dark crimson energy, as she uttered, closing her palm.... "Collapse!"

Instantly, Zorat felt all the blood inside his veins on the verge of exploding."

"I see..... So that’s your trump card. You can’t do anything on the outside.... So you go through the inside.... commendable..."

Zorat took the time to observe the working of this technique.

It was clearly a skill being powered by demonic energy, but it was quite potent and might have caused a lesser person to spontaneously explode.

"But.... unfortunately....." Zorat voiced again, sounding a little impressed, but still unsatisfied.

"This also won’t work.... Azaria."

Finishing with those words, Azaria felt her technique collapse completely, as she lost all control over Zorat’s blood, and the imagined and supposed explosion also did not come.

Flabberghasted.... She attempted to frantically regain control, but it was like her ability, the ultimate technique of the Dravens, was meeting an impenetrable wall.

"No use trying, Azaria... come on.... Do something else. Don’t be such a bore." Zorat teased with his grin widening.

Azaria’s technique had failed because, for beings who can independently exist in body and soul.... They have supreme control over their own body and all of its parts.

A veiny bulge of anger sprang to life on Azaria’s slightly visible forehead at Zorat’s provocation. Her ultimate final move was ineffective. This person was a monster, she realized.

As all else has already failed.....

Now it was do or die.

She slowly removed her mask, revealing her immaculately beautiful face, which was burning red with equal parts anger, helplessness, and fear.

She couldn’t let her story end like this..... And she also couldn’t allow that smug bastard to keep having his fun.

There was just one final weapon she had left, and that was her paragon-realm physical body, which was as hard and as durable as steel.

Azaria wouldn’t be dying here today, and if she does... she would die fighting to her final breath.

She raised both her hands, now folded into fists, as she went into a physical fight stance, she said beckoning to Zorat.

"Come on then, you asshole.... You asked for this!"

"..."

Hehehe.... very good.
