Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method
Chapter 587: The Craziest Debut Incoming
Paren stayed silent for a long moment.
Then he finally let out a deep sigh. "Even if she says all that during the tournament... most people won’t believe her."
Dahlia raised an eyebrow. "Why not?"
Paren tapped the desk lightly. "Because it sounds too ridiculous. A normal human becoming a dragon after training? A weak Mortal Realm cultivator becoming an A1 dragon genius at twenty-four?"
He shook his head. "If I heard it from someone else, even I wouldn’t believe it."
Dahlia clicked her tongue. "Then make them believe it."
Paren looked at her.
Dahlia grinned confidently and crossed her arms. "If words aren’t enough, then create a show."
Garion slowly smiled.
Dahlia pointed at herself proudly. "Make a great entrance for me. Let everyone know I’m the first disciple of God Gym before I even step into the arena."
Then her grin widened. "And God Gym itself is already a great name, right? Use that. Make people curious and let them think and wonder what kind of place can raise someone like me."
Paren stared at Dahlia.
Then he looked at Garion.
For some reason, master and disciple were both smiling like troublesome lunatics.
Paren rubbed his forehead helplessly. "I really picked up two disasters..."
Garion laughed. "Haha! Don’t worry, Manager Paren. Disasters are good for business if you use them correctly."
Paren’s mouth twitched. "That sentence is exactly why I’m worried."
Still, after thinking for a few seconds, his expression slowly became serious.
He had already invested too much into Garion, so at this point, there was no turning back.
Paren looked toward Alira through the screen. "Alira."
Alira immediately straightened slightly. "Yes, Manager?"
Paren’s eyes sharpened. "Prepare for her debut properly."
Alira nodded once.
Paren continued, "I want the best possible introduction for God Gym and Dahlia Draconia."
Then he pointed at the screen seriously. "You’re my best assistant. Make sure this becomes the most memorable entrance in the entire Newbie Tournament."
Alira’s expression remained calm, but her eyes became focused. "Understood."
Paren leaned back slightly, then muttered with a helpless smile. "Garion and Dahlia are basically our lifeline now."
Garion grinned brightly. "Good. Then don’t worry."
Dahlia cracked her knuckles beside him. "We’ll make sure everyone remembers God Gym."
Paren could only sigh again. "Alright. Since everything has already reached this point, you don’t need to return to the terminal first."
Alira looked at him. "Then should I bring them directly to the tournament site?"
Paren nodded. "Yes. Go straight there."
He glanced at the time displayed on one of his holographic screens.
"Based on your current speed, you should arrive roughly one day before the tournament officially starts."
Garion raised an eyebrow. "One day early?"
Paren nodded. "That’s better. You can look around, understand the place, and get used to the atmosphere first."
Dahlia’s eyes immediately lit up. "Sightseeing?"
Garion grinned. "Sounds good to me."
Paren looked at both of them seriously. "Don’t cause trouble."
Garion and Dahlia both went silent.
Then they looked away at the same time.
Paren’s mouth twitched. "Why are both of you avoiding my eyes?"
Dahlia coughed lightly. "No reason."
Garion nodded calmly. "Yeah. We’re very peaceful people."
Alira stared at them from the side without saying anything.
Paren clearly didn’t believe a single word.
He rubbed his forehead and sighed tiredly. "Alira, please watch them carefully."
Alira nodded. "Understood."
Paren then looked back at Garion and Dahlia. "Remember, this tournament is important. You’re not just representing yourselves anymore."
His eyes sharpened slightly. "You’re representing God Gym."
Garion’s playful expression slowly faded a little.
Dahlia also stood straighter.
For a brief moment, the atmosphere became serious.
Garion smiled and gave Paren a thumbs-up. "Don’t worry."
Dahlia grinned confidently beside him. "We’ll make the entrance big enough that nobody forgets us."
Paren stared at them for a moment.
Then he finally smiled helplessly. "That’s exactly what I’m afraid of."
---
Several hours later, the silver ship continued rushing through space toward the tournament site.
Dahlia was still standing near the window, staring at the endless universe with bright eyes.
"So this is the Cosmic Universe..." she muttered. "It really is huge."
Garion grinned from his seat. "Yeah. Makes our old world feel pretty small, right?"
Dahlia nodded seriously. "Very small."
Alira quietly operated the ship in front of them.
Then suddenly...
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
Several warning screens appeared around her.
Alira’s eyes narrowed slightly. "Another group is blocking the route."
Garion raised an eyebrow. "Pirates again?"
Alira checked the scan. "Different group this time. Smaller fleet."
Dahlia immediately grinned. "Pirates? Already?"
Garion turned toward Alira and waved his hand casually. "Don’t waste time talking to them."
Alira looked at him.
Garion’s grin widened. "Just attack directly. Think of it as a show for Dahlia."
Dahlia’s eyes instantly lit up. "Ohhh?"
Alira stayed silent for a moment.
Then the corner of her mouth lifted slightly. "Fine."
Outside the ship, several crude pirate vessels were already moving to surround them.
Inside one of the pirate ships, the captain laughed loudly. "A silver private ship! Looks like today’s our lucky..."
Before he could finish...
VVVVVVMMMMMM!!!
The silver ship’s weapon systems activated instantly.
Blue energy lines spread across its hull like lightning.
The pirates froze. "...Huh?"
The next moment...
BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
A massive blue beam tore through space and blasted straight past the pirate fleet, destroying three assault ships in one strike.
The pirate captain’s face turned pale. "WHAT THE HELL?!"
Dahlia pressed closer to the window, laughing loudly. "Hahaha! So this is cosmic ship combat!"
Garion crossed his arms proudly. "Pretty good, right?"
Alira calmly moved her fingers across the controls.
The silver ship suddenly twisted through space and fired again.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Several smaller beams shot out from hidden cannons, breaking the pirates’ formation apart instantly.
The entire pirate channel erupted into panic.
"That’s not a normal private ship!"
"Run! Run!"
"We picked the wrong target!"
The pirate captain clenched his teeth, but after seeing another ship’s shield collapse, he shouted in fear, "Retreat! Retreat immediately!"
The remaining pirate vessels turned around and fled at full speed.
Dahlia watched them escape with a disappointed look. "That’s it?"
Garion laughed. "Welcome to the Cosmic Universe."
Alira calmly deactivated the weapon systems. "Not all pirates are brave enough to die."
Dahlia grinned. "Good. Then next time, I’ll make sure they don’t get the chance to run."
