Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method
Chapter 588: Ten Seconds To Dominate
The silver ship finally slowed down after several more hours of travel.
Ahead of them, a massive artificial continent floated in space.
It was not a planet but a gigantic tournament site built like a shining island among the stars.
Countless ships moved in and out of the docking areas, while huge holographic screens floated above the sky, already displaying advertisements, participant names, faction symbols, and countdowns for the upcoming Newbie Tournament.
Dahlia pressed closer to the window with bright eyes. "Ohhh... now this looks interesting."
Garion grinned beside her. "Yeah. This place feels more like an arena city than a tournament site."
Alira calmly guided the ship toward a private docking platform.
"That’s because the Newbie Tournament is also a business event. Fighters come here to gain fame, factions come here to recruit, and merchants come here to sell."
The ship landed smoothly.
After they stepped out, loud noise immediately rushed into their ears.
Crowds from countless races moved through the wide streets.
Some looked almost human, while others had horns, tails, scales, metallic skin, beast features, or bodies made of strange glowing energy.
Dahlia’s grin widened more and more. "Hahaha! Cosmic civilization really is crazy."
Alira led them through the tournament site while explaining the important areas. "That building is the registration center."
She pointed toward a tall silver structure surrounded by floating screens.
"That area is the main arena. The preliminary stages will happen in smaller combat zones, but the later rounds will be shown there."
Garion looked toward the enormous arena in the distance.
Even from far away, he could feel powerful protective formations surrounding it.
Alira continued walking. "Over there are the viewing districts, merchant streets, faction recruitment halls, and private guest zones."
Dahlia cracked her knuckles excitedly. "So basically, I just need to beat people up while everyone watches?"
Garion nodded seriously. "Exactly. But make it stylish."
Alira glanced at both of them and sighed. "Please don’t cause unnecessary destruction."
Dahlia smiled innocently. "No promises."
After showing them around for a while, Alira’s phone suddenly rang.
She accepted the call, and Paren’s holographic image appeared. "Alira, the registration is complete."
Alira nodded. "Both?"
"Yes. Dahlia’s temporary Silver ID is ready, and she has already been registered for the tournament under God Gym."
Garion immediately grinned. "Fast as always, Manager Paren."
Paren ignored his praise and looked at Dahlia seriously. "Your debut is being prepared too. Don’t waste this chance."
Dahlia proudly placed a hand on her chest. "Relax. I’ll make God Gym famous."
Paren stared at her for a moment before muttering, "That’s what I’m afraid of."
Then the call ended.
Alira turned back toward them. "Now that everything is done, I’ll bring you to the inn."
Garion blinked. "We’re staying at an inn?"
Alira nodded. "A private one prepared by Manager Paren. Since you arrived one day early, rest first and avoid trouble."
Garion and Dahlia both looked away at the same time.
Alira narrowed her eyes. "I mean it."
Dahlia coughed lightly. "Of course."
Garion nodded calmly. "We are peaceful guests."
Alira clearly didn’t believe either of them.
Still, she led them through the busy tournament city toward a tall inn overlooking the main arena.
Garion stared at the massive arena from the entrance and slowly smiled. "One day left, huh?"
Dahlia stood beside him, eyes burning with excitement. "Good."
She cracked her neck loudly. "Tomorrow, God Gym makes its debut."
---
The next day, the Newbie Tournament finally began.
The entire tournament site was packed with people.
Countless spectators filled the viewing districts while enormous holographic screens floated above the arena, broadcasting every battlefield from different angles.
Because there were too many participants this time, the organizers didn’t start with normal one-on-one matches.
Instead, the first stage was an early elimination round.
A battle royale.
Only those who could survive and stand out would qualify for the main tournament show.
Inside one of the wide combat fields, dozens of participants appeared one after another.
Some wore expensive armor.
Some carried high-grade weapons.
Some had powerful bloodline auras spreading around them openly.
And then... Dahlia walked in.
Compared to the others, her appearance looked almost too simple.
She had beautiful silver-gray hair, sharp eyes, and a confident smile, but her outfit was only tight combat pants and a simple fitted top.
Because of that, several participants immediately laughed.
"Is she lost?"
"She looks like someone’s assistant."
"Pretty face, but wrong place."
Dahlia slowly turned toward them.
Then she grinned. "You."
She pointed at the first man. "First one out."
Then she pointed at the second. "You’re next."
Her finger moved again. "And you after him."
The mocking laughter instantly grew louder.
But Dahlia only stretched her neck lazily.
A moment later, the announcer’s voice echoed across the arena. "BEGIN!"
BOOOOOOM!!!
The ground beneath Dahlia’s feet shattered instantly.
Her body disappeared.
Before anyone could even react, she appeared in front of the first man and kicked him directly in the stomach.
BANG!!!
His body shot backward like a cannonball and smashed into the arena barrier.
Before the crowd could scream, Dahlia twisted in midair. Her second kick landed on the next participant’s jaw.
CRACK!!
He spun violently through the air and crashed outside the boundary.
The third tried to activate his defensive technique but was too slow.
Dahlia appeared above him with a wide grin. "I told you."
BOOOOM!!!
Her heel slammed down, crushing his defense and blasting him into the ground.
In less than ten seconds, everyone who had mocked her was already eliminated.
The entire arena fell silent.
Even the announcer forgot to speak for a moment.
Dahlia landed lightly in the center of the battlefield, brushing dust off her shoulder like nothing had happened.
Then she looked at the remaining participants and smiled. "So..."
Her dragon aura slowly rose around her body. "Who’s next?"
Across the viewing district, countless spectators stared at the screen in shock.
"What the hell?"
"Who is she?"
"She eliminated them instantly!"
"Wait... her name is Dahlia Draconia?"
Then the holographic screen above the arena flashed brightly.
[Dahlia Draconia]
[Representative: God Gym]
[Disciple of Garion]
Inside the private viewing room, Garion leaned back with a proud grin. "Hahaha..."
Alira glanced at him quietly.
Garion crossed his arms. "Not bad for an entrance, right?"
