KEITH’S POV

"Sir! The police have breached the perimeter you created they are coming up to the estate!" a man announced to Kolton.

That’s whenI knew it had begun. I heard chaos from outside as firing of guns was heard.

"What have you done!?" Kolton’s voice demanded as he returned to the dining room once more.

I got up from the chair and grabbed the two guns from the men directly behind me and shot at them. They had been distracted by the sudden outburt.

Kolton dodged my shots at him and ran back to the other room.

"Get him!" I faintly heard him order.

As I shot at all of Koltons I glanced at Jasmine at the table.

"Jasmine get down!" I instructed her.

I watched as all of Kolton’s men began to scramble.

More men flooded into the room and I shot them down. I lost sight of Jasmine as she and Tony moved from the area. I saw them leaving the room. I had to get to her but I had to deal with Kolton first. Kolton, whom I also couldn’t find anymore.

It was several minutes before Kolton’s men had been taken down. I went to check in the other room where Keith had been and ran off during my fight with him.

There were about three of my men inside and Kolton’s men incaoacitated on the floor.

"All clear in these two rooms sir. The rest of the men are outside handling those on the perimeter.

I looked at all the men on the floor none of them were Kolton. He had dissappeared from the scene. Where had he gone? There was another exit to the room that led further into the house.

I had to find Jasmine and Anthony first though.

"Search around the house for any more men and look for my wife and son. Tell the men outside as well once they’re done as well. I exited the dinning room from where I had seen Jasmine and Anthony leave earlier.

I looked to the left where the entrance to the house was. Surely, they hadn’t left the house. There was still a lot of chaos with the police outside, plus shots firing. Looking to the right I saw the rest of the house and the the stairs that led to the upper floors.

I down the hallway and looked around some of the rooms on the lower floor but I failed to find them. Neither did I find Kolton. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

Three of my other men had also confirmed that they saw and found nothing from the other rooms they .

I informed them to now check upstairs with me. And so we headed for the upper floor.

There were so many wings it was difficult to know where to start looking. I was sure Jasmine and Tony were somewhere in the house. We checked two sections and found nothing. We checked every room almost all of them were unlocked and except for a for a few. We would bust thrm down and check regardless.

I knocked at the door. "Hello?" I asked."Is anyone inside?"

"Dad?" I heard a familiar voice call out.

"Anthony!" I said outloud in surprise. "Anthony is that you?!"

The door slowly unlocked and it was dark inside.

He calmly walked out of the room and I knelt till i was eye level with him.

"Oh my god, I found you. Are you okay?" I asked him.

He slowly nodded his head in response.

"What happened?"

"Mum told me to hide and wait for her to come back," he explained.

"Where did she go?"

"She took the gun and went to fight."

My eyes narrowed. I had a bad feeling about this. "Is she still on this upper floor?" I asked.

"I think so."

Two of my men came to me.

"Take him and get him to safety. Keep your eyes sharp incase anything happens " I said to them.

"Yes, sir," they responnded.

"Go with they’ll protect you, until I find your mother and we can go home," I instructed Anthony.

"Home?" he asked in suprise.

I nodded. "Yes. Our home."

Anthony began to walk away with my men when he turned back to look at me.

"Where’s Marco?" he asked.

"He’s safe and waiting outside the property," I informed.

He smiled at that and continued walking.

I soon followed after them down the hallway as I planned to contune checking the other sections. I went to the next hallway and started checking the rooms when I heard struggling coming from the rooms ahead.

I went towards the noise and found an open door at the end. A gun was on the floor by the door. My eyes widened and I rushed. Only to find a figure appear by the door and grab the gun.

I saw it was none other than Kolton and he turned back into the room with it.

I didn’t even think twice as I held out my gun, aimed and pulled the trigger as reached the door.

I shot him straight in the back and he collapsed. From the doorway I looked in the room and found Jasmine on the floor a short distance away. In her hands was a gun which she had pointed at Kolton.

I felt my heart almost skip a beat as I pieced the scene before me.

"Keith..." Jasmine called my name in a tired voice.

I’m so glad I had made it in time or else he would have gotten her.

Jasmine stared wide eyed as he Kolton dropped to the floor. He lay there unmoving.

I then turned to Jasmine who sat on the floor still in shock.

"Wait Tony, I have to get Tony," she told me.

"I found him and had him taken by my men," I assured her.

She looked exhausted. No doubt she was tired from everything that had transpired with my brother today. Not to mention she had bruises all over she must have had a rough fight with Kolton. The nightmare was finally over.

"Jasmine let’s go home ," I told her.

"No," she slowly answered.

"What?" I asked her to repeat wondering if I had heard wrong.
