The sound of footsteps echoing on the school hallway floor was loud. A man walked quickly down the hallway.

Then, in the distance, he spotted a girl with long, flowing black hair like vicuña wool. Her delicate eyebrows cast a shadow beneath her eyes, her face was extremely beautiful with skin as white as condensed milk.

A white school shirt and a purple bowtie adorned her neck, a plaid pleated A-line mini skirt revealed sheer silky stockings that showed off her slender legs.

Paired with a blazer, her aura was truly like an ice queen.

Miria stood in front of a bulletin board, she and her student council members seemed to be discussing something. Liam even observed that the distance between her and her friends was neither too far nor too close, establishing appropriate boundaries.

Before Liam could call out...

"Liam."

A voice with a low, soft tone like a chirping bird was heard from behind him. Liam turned his head back.

There, a girl with black hair with a faint blue hue approached him, black glasses with a silver frame perched perfectly on her nose, and she held a notebook right at her chest.

Silvia’s breath seemed to be coming in, she waved her hand towards Liam.

"Silvia...?"

’Wait, did she follow me when she knew I left class? Why?’

Liam tilted his head, turning his body. Instantly, the distance between them narrowed, and the smell of sweat, which instead of being unpleasant, smelled faintly fragrant as Liam caught a whiff.

"Why did you follow me all the way here, Silvia?" Liam asked, confused.

Hearing that, Silvia finally came to her senses.

’Wait, that’s right. Why did I chase after him? Oh no. He’s going to think I’m a weird girl.’ Silvia’s thoughts sounded a little panicked.

"Umm... don’t we need to discuss the place and time for our study group later?" Silvia immediately stated her reason.

Liam raised his eyebrows slightly.

Liam decided to sort this out first. After all, he could visit Miria anytime.

"B-but you look like you have something urgent that you needed to do, Liam."

"No, it’s fine. C’mon, let’s go." Liam said, walking back to class. Silvia’s footsteps could be heard behind him.

He turned his head to check if Silvia was really following him. However, something in the distance, he could see someone over Silvia’s shoulder.

There, in front of the school’s announcement board, Miria was looking at him with unconcealed shock in her eyes.

Even though there was a large crowd of students passing by, their eyes still managed to linger for quite some time.

Liam could see the light in Miria’s eyes slowly fading.
