Chapter 164: The crystals

Outside everyone was watching in deep silence. When did Azaroth become the powerful? This strength that he’s displaying, it’s almost as if he’s already in the next advancement level.

Crypt Master hummed to himself and nodded his head, a planning already forming in his head.

Stallus and the others just kept looking at the situation in a way they couldn’t explain because it’s as if Azaroth has left them. Although they know he’s strong, they didn’t know he is this strong! Now it’s as if he’s going faster than they could keep up and they only touch his shadow.

In their heart they are waiting for all this to pass so they can focus their power on training and improving themselves as well.

Commander Apex felt a chill as he watched Azaroth display his power, it reminded him of someone but he couldn’t put his hand on it. "This concludes the test."

On the glass screen they saw Azaroth began to walk forward but the grunt monsters remaining tried to attack him and he slaughtered them all as he he was crushing ants.

Almost as if since they lost all they boss the monsters run mad, they began to run anywhere and Azaroth continue to kill them as he made hie way out.

Actually, Azaroth didn’t search them out. If they get in his way then he kill them but if not they he just continue on his way. He got to the place where he killed the mud monsters and he picked the crystals, sat down and meditate, processing the essence.

Finally, almost two hours later after Azaroth hid the overflowing power of chaos essence, he stood and stretched. "I should get going. I have to bring my fire core up to the next level."

He entered the portal and landed on the ship.

Everyone looked at him as if they hadn’t seen him before and immediately he felt everyone’s essence touch as they felt out his power. Azaroth allowed it and what they saw was just a normal fire core of the Initiate level.

It left the adults confused because they actually thought he’s advanced but now they know something important. Azaroth is the type that’ll always be the top of his level. He’s like an ordinary human that have extraordinary strength. Those that will always be above average no matter what or where they are.

The crypt Master cleared his throat then he turned to the blue orb. "My Lord, we are done with the test."

The mechanical voice came out. "I see you have used my resources well, Arc. You have surpassed my expectations once again. What do you think Commander?"

The Commander grunted. As much as he might like to otherwise he couldn’t refuse what he saw with his own eyes. "They are strong. They are no longer Hounds. If they keep this up and they make it to Master? Forget that, even now they will go toe to toe with the young dragon heads."

The Inferno Legion have a lot of fighting forces as each Commander and Generals have their own personal forces that are independent of the central command. Not to talk of the Dragons that serve the main Clan.

Only Commander Apex earned his Commander title because he’s one of those who are in charge of Hounds training.

The mechanical voice laughed out in what seems like surprise. "The Dragon’s head? Well, if it’s you Apex then I’ll belive you. Although I don’t put my eggs in one plate they have impressed greatly. We will continue with the training and Arc spirit, I ask you once again, can you make them Master as you promised?"

Crypt Master smiled and bowed. "I will, my Lord. You can have my life...and theirs if they don’t make it."

The mechanical voice came out cold. "I will. Then I will support you with my bulk. As as much as you deserve." Then the voice was gone, even the glow from the orb died.

Crypt Master let out a sigh. "Even now as the world turned out to be this we still have to spend a lot. We still have to respect money and...."

Commander interrupted him. "You are not human Arc spirit. My job is done here anyway. Azaroth, give me alk the crystals you see in the crypt."

Azaroth looked at him calmly. "Why should I?"

"What?" Commander Apex looked shocked. As the Commander here there’s nothing that he commands that won’t be so. He has a lot of lands under him and he’s in command of thousands of Hounds. The Idea that he should he explaining himself to a boy is like a dog that start talking and demanded for food.

The next moment Azaroth found himself clawing at his throat as he went to his knees. A great weight settled on him and bent his knees and his head swarm as if it would pop the next moment. But even though all the pain he felt no fear.

When Azaroth looked up it was almost as if he’s looking at a statue so tall and with red eyes that shimmered with fire. Commander Apex only used his essence pressure but the oppressive aura is enough to attack and kill someone on a level so low from his own.

He cut off the pressure and Azaroth isn’t the only one that sucked in long breath. Others were affected as well. But unknown to them, the Commander actually wanted Azaroth to pass out with that attack. But now he’s surprised that the boy was able to withstand so much.

"The crystals." Commander Apex said but not with the same tone, he’s thinking that the boy in front of him would be a problem to him in the future. As a veteran in war and a warrior who has lived his life as he did he knew trouble when he saw one.

Should I just kill him? Instinctively he took a step forward and his hand raised, power gathered in a bright red.
