I Just Want to Farm, But My Beasts Keep Evolving!!
Chapter 100: We Have No Money Left
"Take a look at this one, sir. This is the latest model of our brand new SUV. Running on the nuclear-powered V6 Engine, it can reach Mach 1 in just 12 seconds!! Fitted with all the modern comforts and 5D massage seats, and self-driving capabilities, you will not be disappointed with it."
The salesman rubbed his hands together in a flattering way as he looked at Raiden while showing him the car.
"Hmm, it looks okay, I guess. But I feel something is missing. I don’t know how to put a finger on it." Raiden rubbed his chin as he looked at the car.
This high-end SUV was the most expensive car on the market, but he was not sure if it was for him. It felt kind of... boring.
It was the last car he had seen today. Before this, he had seen multiple cars from various brands and various types, from mini hatchbacks to sedans to SUVs, but none of them really clicked with him.
Woolie, who had been excited at first, had gotten bored by the time he arrived at his seventh car and had already wandered off somewhere with Neva in tow.
"Woolie Woolie!!" Just as Raiden was thinking what to do, he was tackled by Woolie, who kept shouting and urging him to follow him somewhere.
"Huh? Where do you want to take me, buddy?"
"Woo Woo!!" I found something really cool, human!! Hurry up and follow me!!!
Without waiting for Raiden, he dashed off in the distance, leaving him with no other choice but to follow him, with the salesman in tow.
Woolie led him across the entire showroom before walking into a dusty old room with dim lights.
Inside the room was mostly empty, with nothing in sight, just a single long vehicle covered by a cloth, looking too small for a car.
"Sir, that is... It’s an old thing, Sir. Not worth mentioning. It just has the basic twin-cylinder nuclear engine, and no safety features at all. While it goes fast, barely anyone nowadays chooses to ride these. These things are practically obsolete, replaced by the new and modern cars with much better features and safety."
Raiden’s eyes shone with interest as he heard this.
"Sha Sha!!" Neva didn’t pay attention to any of his words and grabbed the cloth covering it by her mouth, pulling it off.
Fwoosh~
"This!! This is it!! I want this one!!" Raiden’s eyes shined even brighter when he saw what was hidden beneath it.
"But...we don’t really sell it, sir. It’s here for showcasing purposes. I am afraid I can’t—"
"How much?" Raiden interrupted the guy in between, his eyes never leaving the prize.
"Like I just told you sir, this is not for sale, but if you want cars, I can—"
"Everything has a price. If you can’t decide the selling price for this, find me someone who can, but I want this." Raiden spoke in a tone that left no room for argument.
No matter what happened, he was definitely taking this beauty home!!

KRR-VAAAOOM!!
"Woooolieee!!"
"Shaaaa!!"
"Hahaha!! This is so great!!!"
Raiden laughed loudly as he felt the wind hitting his face. He pulled the throttle once more, accelerating even faster, as the classic retro bike zoomed forward in the city, its twin exhausts producing a raw and gritty sound, turning heads wherever he passed by.
250 KM!!
280 KM!!
300 KM!!
In no time at all, he arrived at his destination, feeling more satisfied than ever with his purchase. In his opinion, it was the best 500K Credits he had ever spent.
"Alright, we are here, let us go inside." He got off the bike, pulling Woolie up from the front and taking his helmet off, before he started walking towards the shop.
As he arrived there, he was stunned by the changes in front of him.
He looked at the phone again to check the address, then up at the shop in front of him, feeling confused in his heart.
What had happened in just a month?? Where was the small shop?? Why was he looking at a 30-meter-wide storefront right now??
"Sha Sha!!" Look, it’s big brother on top!!
Neva pointed at the shop’s signboard on top.
Raiden and Woolie subconsciously followed her lead and looked at the signboard, only to be left dazzled by it.
SARAH AND EMPEROR WOOLIE TEXTILES!!
Looking at the big and bold signboard that looked like it was made up of pure gold, with a small Woolie image after it, looking fierce, the brand looked super dazzling and flashy.
"Just what had occurred in the time period I was gone..." Raiden muttered in confusion as he walked inside the shop.
The interior of the shop had changed completely. It still exuded the soft luxury sort of feeling, but it had expanded significantly from that narrow counter shop.
Now there were three rows of counters that extended throughout the shop, filled with staff members and big screens.
Everywhere around him, there were dozens of people going in and out of it, with tens of beautiful staff members lined up, assisting everyone who walked in inside the shop.
"Greetings, dear guest. How may I help you?" A polite staff member came forward and greeted him with a warm smile on her face.
"Huh, me?? Don’t you recognise me?" Raiden pointed to himself in wonder.
"I am sorry, dear guest. Should I recognise you??" The staff member tilted her head to the side, confusion evident in her voice.
Hearing this, Raiden fell speechless. The staff members didn’t even know the owner of the shop??
"Never mind, just lead me to Sarah. I came here to meet with her."
Raiden waved his hands as he started walking deeper into the shop.
"You want to see Dr Sarah?? I am sorry, but that is not possible at the moment, dear guest, as her consultation schedule is fully booked for the next three weeks. Do you want me to book a slot for you next time?" The girl asked.
"Don’t worry about it. Just tell her Raiden is here."
"Raiden!! You are finally here!!" A shout sounded from afar before the attendant could do anything.
Raiden looked at the woman who was walking towards him in confident strides.
Wearing a navy blue suit with a black blouse, Sarah’s eyes shone with a confidence that wasn’t here before.
She walked straight towards Raiden and hugged him, causing him to pause a little in his actions.
"About time you got here. Do you know how long I’ve been waiting for you??" She asked as she naturally picked Woolie up, cradling him in her arms.
"Woo??"
"Come inside, let’s talk while we have a drink or something. As for you, you can attend to other people." She dismissed the attendant with a wave of her hands, leading him inside towards the back room.
"I have two pieces of news for you, one good and one bad. Which one do you want to hear first??" She asked while walking.
"Good news, give me the good news first."
"Well, the good news is that we have surpassed all the goals and targets we set for ourselves. The brand is a huge success, with orders coming from even other cities, leaving us extremely busy. If we keep expanding and working at this rate, we will be multi-millionaires by the end of the year."
Sarah explained as she reached the door in the back of the shop, opening it and leading Raiden inside.
"That sounds great!! What is the bad news??"
"We have no money left."
"Huh???"
A/N: Can’t believe we have reached Chapter 100!! WooHoo!! Thank you, everyone, for your support. Couldn’t have done it without you guys.
