I Really Didn't Mean to Make Money
Chapter 342: The Big G
If every contract was worth over 750,000, then with more than a dozen of them…
Huang Xiaoli did a quick mental calculation, and the final number left her stunned.
The checkout process continued.
About twenty minutes later,
It was finally done.
Huang Xiaoli looked at the final transaction total.
10.24 million.
Her chest rose and fell as her breathing grew slightly erratic.
She turned to glance at Ji Xiaohui, who stood quietly to the side, her expression complicated.
Who would have thought that the person who just landed over ten million in orders was a newcomer who had only been here for a little over a month?
This performance was already on par with, or even surpassed, what some veteran employees achieved in half a year or more.
After the checkout was complete,
They handled a few other matters, like insurance.
A while later,
Shen Rou returned.
“President Chen, everything’s taken care of. We can go pick up the car now.”
“Great!”
Chen Mo nodded.
Back in the main hall of the dealership, Wei Yan and the others were still waiting.
But now, a few more salespeople had gathered around, seemingly chatting with Wei Yan’s group while slipping their business cards into their hands.
Watching this scene, Huang Xiaoli couldn’t help but grumble inwardly.
The cars are already sold. What’s the point of handing out your cards now? The main client is standing right here.
She looked at the young man walking ahead. After a brief chat with Ji Xiaohui earlier, she had learned a bit about him.
He was actually the president of a corporation.
Young and loaded.
Sigh…
Huang Xiaoli glanced at her own figure and shook her head helplessly.
Getting old…
Seeing those salespeople still wasting their efforts, she worried their behavior might affect the young president’s mood, so she quickly stepped forward.
“What are you all doing crowding around here? Go to the entrance and greet the customers.”
The salespeople, seeing their supervisor approach, reluctantly dispersed. As they left, they glanced at Ji Xiaohui standing beside Huang Xiaoli, their faces full of envy.
From their earlier conversations, they had picked up on some details.
They knew Ji Xiaohui had just closed a massive deal.
“President Chen, please wait just a moment. Your vehicles are being prepped now, and we’ve already arranged temporary plates for them,” Huang Xiaoli said warmly as she walked up to Chen Mo.
For a high-value client like this, of course they had to provide top-tier service.
Chen Mo gave a small nod in response.
A short while later,
One car after another was driven out by the staff, about eight in total. The most eye-catching of them all was the sleek black G-Wagen at the very front.
However, since the dealership didn’t have all the selected vehicles in stock, some of the cars Wei Yan’s group had chosen needed to be transferred in from other locations.
So only part of the group could drive off with their cars today. The rest would have to wait a few days for their vehicles to arrive.
But that had nothing to do with Chen Mo anymore. He’d already paid, and when those guys would get to drive their cars wasn’t his concern.
After assigning the vehicles,
Several employees got into the cars they had picked and gave a lift to those who didn’t receive theirs today, leaving the dealership together.
Watching them drive off,
Chen Mo made a quick call to Yang Dahai, telling him to head back and not to wait.
After hanging up,
He couldn’t wait to walk over to the black G-Wagen parked nearby. In a sense, this was already his car.
Although it was technically registered under the company and couldn’t be sold at will, he had full control over its use.
Just as he took a couple of steps, he was stopped by one of the salespeople.
Chen Mo looked at the slightly nervous Ji Xiaohui and paused.
“President Chen, this is my business card. Would you mind keeping it?”
Ji Xiaohui carefully held out a card.
Chen Mo glanced at the card, then at her cautious and nervous expression. After a moment’s thought, he took it.
“I’ll keep your card. If I need to buy another car in the future, I’ll come to you.”
With that,
He didn’t wait for her response and walked past her, getting into the driver’s seat of the black G-Wagen.
“Thank you, President Chen.”
Ji Xiaohui looked at his back and said gratefully.
She was truly thankful for President Chen. This was her first sale, and it had given her the motivation to keep going in this industry.
Inside the black G-Wagen,
Chen Mo buckled his seatbelt, glanced at the business card in his hand, then handed it to Shen Rou in the passenger seat.
“Hold on to this card. Next time the company needs to buy cars, we’ll go through her.”
Seeing how nervous and careful Ji Xiaohui had been, he couldn’t help but think of his own past life, when he’d worked as a salesperson. He had probably looked just like her—anxious, cautious, and full of hope.
If someone back then had bought a few more items from him, he would’ve been over the moon.
So why not help this girl out?
The company would definitely need more vehicles as it grew. It didn’t matter where they bought them from, so why not give her the business?
It was an easy thing to do. Why not?
“Understood, President Chen.”
Shen Rou took the card and carefully tucked it away.
In her heart, she sighed.
President Chen really is such a kind person.
The engine purred to life as the car slowly pulled away.
The black G-Wagen slowly pulled out of the 4S dealership.
“President Chen, aren’t we heading back to the group?”
Shen Rou glanced at the direction Chen Mo was driving and realized it wasn’t the way to Mingri Group.
“That’s right. We need to make a stop at the mall.”
Chen Mo nodded. The other managers had finished their purchases, but his spending wasn’t over yet.
He still needed to pick up a few suits, a watch, and some other work-related items.
At Shengbai Mall,
Chen Mo eased the car into a spot in the underground parking lot.
He got out, and Shen Rou followed suit.
They made their way to the elevator and rode it straight into the mall.
Shen Rou looked around curiously. Shengbai was the most upscale mall in Jiang City, filled almost exclusively with luxury brands and private boutiques.
She had only heard about it before, never had the chance to visit.
Today was her first time here.
Chen Mo was also surveying the place. He had been here once before, but hadn’t bought anything. Back then, he just wanted to get a feel for what high-end brands were like.
After scanning the area, he stopped in front of a directory.
Eventually, he settled on a high-end custom suit store.
Suits, huh.
Although he owned his own clothing factory and could easily have them made there, the designers at his factory were all fresh graduates he had just hired. He didn’t quite trust them with a custom suit.
More importantly,
He was here to spend money. If he used his own factory, how would that help him burn through his System Funds?
