Kamille lifted his gaze and darkly looked at Epsilon, whose expression was filled with shock.

"Alright," Kamille said, nodding and withdrawing his ability, and Epsilon fell and slammed to the floor. His earlier poise was long gone. His clothes and hair were disheveled.

Still, he did not approach them and continued sitting on the floor.

"You can’t escape, Kamille. You and I... are destined to be together. You know it too, right, Rise?"

Rise let out a chuckle, and it became louder as he felt Kamille pinching his sides. He sucked in a breath, and his laughter echoed inside the elevator.

Kamille only listened to him but felt relieved that Rise returned to his usual self.

As they were hugging, the elevator opened. A loud exclamation resounded, causing the two to pause. Rise turned towards the outside and met familiar green pupils.
