Uriel’s special gene skill allowed him to channel the essence of the skies themselves.
This energy had myriad promising effects on both his body and attacks, boosting his abilities as an evolver to a whole other level.
All this while, Uriel had only ever bothered channeling what came easiest to him — lightning.
Though lightning indeed proved effective, since he comprehended the true meaning of speed from it, it still remained a fact that channeling lightning alone was limiting his full prowess.
The quantity of energy he could draw depended heavily on his physique, and seeing that he was still at the early stage of the Awakened Rank showed that his body was too weak to handle outstanding amounts.
Uriel’s will bloomed. The once clear sky suddenly brewed as dark rumbling clouds formed from nowhere.
The wind raged, whipping through all. Uriel’s silky brown hair fluttered, the spear in his hands crackling with deathly currents.
Beneath his will, space itself became a substance in which he could pivot his existence, swimming through reality.
This was an ability to fly. His body took off to the sky as stormy essence brewed in his energy pathways, the energy of the sky itself converged and funneled through his pores.
The raging energy storm brought with it the refreshing chill of power coursing through his veins.
The hoards before him in the distance paid this storm zero heed, savagely barreling their way towards him.
Uriel’s eyes burned white as a flow of power saturated his body, the essence elevating the limits of his frame.
His strength ballooned, and his senses skyrocketed.
The spear he held was dismissed as he stared at his fists, crackling with power. His eyes flashed, but his face remained stoic.
With this much power, who needed a spear to finish these lot?
Uriel stared at the looming wave of beasts, their killing intent wafting in abundance.
He raised his hand. The lighting of the surroundings changed, the sky warped, and clouds churned into a swirl.
Blinding currents bubbled in the heart of the swirling clouds, and they moved, spreading through the skies and reaching down to the earth.
Rumble!
The vigorous sound of thunder exploded in the air. The entire surroundings became illuminated, the once murky night turning as bright as day.
Dangerous pillars of crackling vicious currents bridged from the skies to the earth.
The gales blew intensely, the trees waving in tandem with the currents.
Uriel stared at the hoards, who seemed to have sensed something wrong, their once rabid charge slowing.
Uriel’s foes couldn’t fly, so his battle had to be on the earth. In order to maintain a constant connection to the skies, Uriel had to make a bridge...
Now he had, so it was time to get rid of these bunch.
Currents crackled and gales whistled in his trail as he drew on the speed of the wind and lightning.
His body was light as the wind, his frame moving through the distance with a flash.
He was before the hoard. His battlefield wasn’t a clearing but a dense cluster of towering trees.
The stampede of Viagra Bulls couldn’t crush these trees with their charge, so they could only move around them — hence why their charge was so slow.
But this was an opportunity for Uriel.
His frame swerved in the air as he rode the wind gracefully and speedily.
Under his influence, air resistance had been reduced to a ridiculous degree, but his body was still limited to his current speed stats.
He reeled through space, forcing an abrupt halt. His essence flowed and was channeled.
A storm of crackling lightning burned in his fists. He torqued his left shoulder backwards, drawing a tightly clenched fist wreathed with disastrous currents.
Then his tendons whipped, muscles bulging, veins popping against his skin.
His fist was released, carrying with it the overwhelming destruction of a storm compressed to a point.
Lightning licked the air as the bull the punch landed on was sent flying, splintering cracks spreading across its scales.
The force of disastrous energy erupted in its system, cooking its innards into straight carbon. Accompanied by this punch, a wave rife with lacerating gales and carbonizing currents blasted forth.
In that single instant, a chunk of the hoard died — their frames intact, but their innards reduced to nothing.
His essence bubbled, lightning cracked and rolled through his veins, lines of burning white energy shining through his skin.
He pointed out a palm, and a pulsing orb of pure condensed essence surged. His eyes closed as he took the silver flow of essence the moon poured — after all, it was in the sky.
Silver lights bloomed, and Uriel let go...
There was no sound. The orb couldn’t be tracked by the naked eyes of even evolvers, so it was safe to say it simply vanished.
BOOOOOOM!
Wind whipped, currents burned brighter and more lively.
The terrifying force of annihilation erupted, splintering the gigantic trees into piles of ash and charcoal.
The hoard stood no chance. The currents raged, seeping straight into their bodies, completely ignoring all defense.
As a matter of fact, this was one of the reasons he could clear this hoard so easily. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎
He wasn’t hindered by their absurd invulnerability — he could just go for the kill.
Victory prompts flowed into his vision like an unending raid. Before him was a burnt shell of its previous sight.
All reduced to half-scorched barks and a coal-black colored ground, spreading to the end of the attack’s reach.
And then it hit...
His vision turned woozy, his mind blurring as he was yanked out of his powered state.
The lightning pillars dissipated along with the broiling clouds, the night sky reverting to its calm, peaceful state.
Landing, Uriel used a half-torn tree as support to hold himself up as his vision spun.
