Infinite Mana: I Am The Absolute Supreme
Chapter 45: Victor’s father came to meet him
Victor appeared inside the shop quietly while thinking about the terrifying power of the Chaos Element. However, what truly interested him at the moment was not the Chaos Element itself, but how it would interact with a legendary rank spell.
The moment he arrived at the shop entrance, another person appeared outside almost simultaneously. It was the delivery man from the Federation.
The middle aged man carried several metallic storage cases along with a spatial container. The instant he saw Victor, his expression became respectful.
"Hello, sir," the man said politely while bowing slightly. "These are your requested resources."
Victor nodded calmly and accepted the delivery.
"Thank you."
The delivery man bowed once again before leaving immediately.
Victor returned to his room upstairs and placed everything on the floor carefully. After opening the storage containers one by one, he discovered not only the spells he had requested but also thousands of top quality mana potions.
The Federation had truly spared no expense.
Victor smiled helplessly.
"These are completely useless for me," he muttered softly.
With his infinite mana reserve, ordinary mana potions held almost no value to him. Still, he did not throw them away. They could always become useful later for trading or supplying allies.
Soon, he focused his attention on the spells themselves.
Three elite rank spell scrolls rested before him.
The first belonged to the Light Element.
Regeneration.
A healing spell capable of restoring severe injuries continuously during battle.
The second belonged to the Metal Element.
Magnetic Field.
A spell that allowed the user to manipulate metallic objects and interfere with other metal attribute abilities.
The third belonged to the Darkness Element.
Shadow Veil.
A stealth and concealment spell capable of merging the caster into darkness itself.
Victor inspected each scroll carefully before finally reaching toward the last item.
A crimson colored scroll rested quietly inside a special container.
This was the legendary rank spell.
Victor slowly opened the scroll.
"Lightning Eagle," he read softly.
His eyes scanned the description carefully.
The spell created an enormous eagle formed entirely from condensed lightning mana. It was classified as an ultimate offensive spell. Under normal circumstances, even a legendary rank awakener would consume nearly all of their mana reserves just to summon one.
The size of the eagle depended entirely on the caster’s mana capacity, with the maximum recorded size reaching thirty meters.
Once summoned, the Lightning Eagle could remain active for five minutes while autonomously attacking enemies designated by the caster. Every strike possessed destructive power comparable to the ultimate attack of a peak B Rank lightning monster.
Victor’s eyes brightened slightly after finishing the description.
"Good," he murmured. "Very good."
For an ordinary awakener, this spell would function as a final trump card used only during desperate situations.
For Victor, however, the situation was entirely different.
"With infinite mana, I could theoretically create an entire army of these things," he thought.
Of course, he had no intention of doing something so reckless right now. His body still possessed limitations despite his infinite mana reserve.
More importantly, he first needed to comprehend the elements properly.
Especially Lightning and Darkness.
Victor placed the scrolls aside before taking out the four physique cores. Without hesitation, he absorbed them immediately.
A familiar surge of energy spread throughout his body.
His muscles, bones, organs, and mana circuits strengthened slightly once again.
[Physique: 236]
Victor exhaled slowly after reading the notification.
Without wasting further time, Victor closed his eyes and began comprehending the Lightning Element first.
Days passed quietly.
Victor barely left his room except for dungeon hunting and basic necessities. Most of his time was spent comprehending elements, refining spells, and mastering control.
The speed of his growth would have horrified the entire world if anyone witnessed it directly.
Ten days passed in the blink of an eye.
By then, Victor had already fully comprehended both the Lightning Element and the Darkness Element. He had also mastered the dark elemental elite rank spell along with the legendary spell Lightning Eagle.
More importantly, his combat proficiency had risen enormously.
He no longer merely possessed overwhelming mana and destructive power. Now he possessed proper mastery.
During those ten days, he repeatedly entered dungeons and refined his spells through actual combat. Shadow Veil turned him into a ghost capable of disappearing into darkness instantly.
As for Lightning Eagle, its destructive power exceeded even Victor’s expectations.
Combined with Chaos mana, the spell became horrifying.
Victor had even returned to the Orc Forest dungeon once again and shattered his previous record completely.
This time, he cleared the entire D Rank dungeon within ten minutes alone.
The world announcement shook Ethereum once again.
However, because Victor himself already held the previous record, the System granted no additional points or rewards.
Even so, the announcement alone was enough to throw countless powers into chaos.
Meanwhile, Victor himself remained somewhat dissatisfied.
His elemental mastery and combat abilities continued increasing rapidly, but his physique lagged far behind. The stronger his spells became, the more obvious his physical limitations appeared.
Still, overall progress remained excellent.
That morning, Victor heard a knock on his door.
He opened it casually and saw Arthur standing outside personally.
Victor looked slightly surprised.
"President," he said. "You could have called me instead. Why come here personally?"
Arthur smiled faintly.
"How is your training progressing?"
"Not bad, I suppose," Victor replied honestly.
Arthur nodded with satisfaction.
"Good. Your team has arrived. More specifically, your officers are here. You can depart today if you wish."
Then Arthur handed him a spatial ring along with a black card. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
"The martial breathing technique information you requested is inside the ring alongside additional resources. As for your money, it has already been transferred into a VIP account registered under your name. The card contains the bank information."
Victor accepted both items calmly.
"Alright," he said. "Let’s go."
The two walked outside together.
The moment Victor stepped outside the shop, he noticed eleven men standing in military formation nearby. Their postures were disciplined and sharp.
As soon as they saw Victor, all eleven saluted simultaneously.
"Greetings, Commander."
One young man stepped forward afterward.
He possessed black hair, sharp features, and a calm but powerful aura.
"I am Vice Commander Luke Ashborn," he introduced himself respectfully. "These are the ten captains leading the ten combat teams stationed at our base."
Victor nodded casually without returning the military salute.
"You are an Ashborn?" he asked while glancing toward Arthur. "Related to the President?"
Luke answered calmly before Arthur could respond.
"Yes. President Arthur is my grandfather."
Arthur smiled slightly.
"Please take care of him."
"Fine," Victor replied simply.
Afterward, the ten captains introduced themselves one after another. Victor listened quietly while memorizing their faces and auras.
Once the introductions ended, Victor walked toward the shop entrance to say goodbye to Rudi before leaving for the battlefield.
However, the moment he approached the entrance, he stopped.
A man was standing there silently.
Eric Walker.
Victor’s father.
Eric’s expression looked cold as usual, but there was obvious exhaustion hidden deep within his eyes.
Victor remained silent briefly before taking out his bank card.
"Give me your bank details," he said coldly. "I will transfer all the money you spent raising me. After that, we will have no further relationship."
