Infinite Rebate: I Get Richer Every Time I Spend
Chapter 4: Bought Hotdog... and Made Money
Hearing Cardi’s teasing, Lucas couldn’t help but take another look at Sofia.
For the past few years, his attention had been completely locked onto Jessica. Even though he knew there was another class beauty whose appearance surpassed Jessica’s, he had never truly taken the time to observe her properly.
Now that he looked at her closely, Sofia’s beauty was impossible to ignore.
Her slender, graceful figure was dominated by a pair of full, heavy breasts that strained against her top, round and juicy with deep, jiggling cleavage. Soft white-jade arms and long, beautifully rounded legs completed the tempting sight. Standing tall and graceful never looked so fuckable.
Compared to Jessica’s sharp, attention-seeking beauty, Sofia felt softer, more natural, and far more comfortable to look at.
Of course, because of Cardi’s teasing, Sofia’s cheeks turned slightly red. She lowered her gaze a little, clearly embarrassed, and tightened her grip around the paper cup in her hands as if unsure what to do with it.
"Lucas, what are you looking at? I was just joking earlier. You’re not actually planning to make a move on my Sofia, are you?" Cardi said with a playful grin.
Hearing that, Sofia quickly shook her head. Her voice was soft, almost hurried. "Cardi, stop talking nonsense. I’m just here to buy hot dogs. I’m not thinking about anything like that."
Cardi laughed and waved a hand dismissively. "Relax, I’m just joking."
In her heart, Cardi didn’t seriously believe Lucas had any real chance with Sofia. At most, he was just a recently dumped ex-simp trying to act different for a while.
At the very least, she didn’t see him as a threat. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
Soon, it was their turn in line.
Lucas’s eyes sharpened slightly. Earlier, he had already checked Sofia’s rating in his mind through the system.
8.5.
A solid mid-high tier beauty.
Perfect.
He stepped forward and said directly, "Sofia, Cardi, we’ve been classmates for a while, and graduation is only two months away. Let me treat you both today."
Before Sofia could respond, Cardi immediately leaned forward with a grin.
"Really? Lucas, you said it yourself. Don’t regret it later. I’m definitely ordering something extra."
Lucas didn’t care in the slightest. His goal wasn’t the money. It was testing the system as quickly as possible.
He laughed lightly. "Order whatever you want. I can afford it."
Then he turned to the vendor and said, "Give me three of your best hot dogs."
The shop owner nodded and quickly got to work.
Not long after, the order was ready. Lucas paid without hesitation.
[Ding! Host has received doubled funds of $80!]
The system notification rang out in his mind, and Lucas’s expression barely changed, but inside, his excitement surged. His guess was right. Spending on high-rated girls really triggered the rebate.
He silently asked, "System, can the rebate be transferred directly to my account?"
[Ding! Yes. Funds can be transferred to phone balance, bank card, or even appear as physical cash.]
A faint smile formed on Lucas’s lips.
So it was real.
After handing the hot dogs to Sofia and Cardi, he casually checked his phone balance again. It had already increased.
Sofia, meanwhile, quietly observed him. Something about Lucas felt different today. More confident. More relaxed. Almost as if he was no longer the same person who used to orbit around Jessica without a thought for himself.
She lowered her gaze slightly and took a small bite of her hot dog, her thoughts drifting in silence.
Cardi, on the other hand, noticed the subtle shift in atmosphere between them and raised an eyebrow.
"What’s with that look? Lucas, did one hot dog already steal Sofia’s heart?"
Sofia immediately turned red. "Cardi, stop talking nonsense."
Cardi chuckled. "Alright, alright, I’m joking."
But something had definitely changed between the three of them.
Lucas, however, wasn’t thinking about romance at all.
He was calculating.
Money had just been made.
And this was only the beginning.
Then he said calmly, "Since we’re all here, want to go shopping together?"
Cardi blinked in surprise. She hadn’t expected him to be so direct.
Before she could even respond, Sofia gave a small nod.
"Sure."
Cardi’s eyes widened. "Wait... you actually agreed?"
She pointed at herself. "Then I’m coming too."
Lucas hesitated for a fraction of a second, then forced a light smile. "Of course."
Soon, the three of them left the hot dog shop and hailed a taxi toward the city center.
Silvermont’s commercial district was always crowded on weekends.
Shops, neon lights, and streams of students filled every corner of the street, buzzing with youthful energy.
Lucas glanced at his remaining balance.
Five hundred dollars.
Not much.
But enough to start something bigger.
Just then, two little girls holding flower baskets walked up.
"Sir, buy a flower for your girlfriend?"
Lucas’s eyes lit up slightly.
Perfect timing.
He smiled. "How much for one?"
