The squad could not help but watch Reigns in awe and reverence.

The way he controlled the flow of the battlefield despite the danger was quite praiseworthy.

If only they knew that Reigns was still a novice and was panicking inwardly,they might end up coughing blood.

The boy who had shouted earlier tightened his grip on his weapon. His name was Arvin and he a Lv2 Swordsman. His strength was in close combat, and he relied on speed and quick strikes, but right now his hands were trembling.

"Who is he?" Arvin muttered under his breath, his eyes fixed on Reigns.

Beside him, a girl with short hair steadied her breathing.

Mira, a Lv2 Elementalist. She had decent control over basic elemental spells, especially wind and fire, but her attacks were still unstable.

"Just what are those?" she said quietly, her voice filled with disbelief.

"I have seen various types of powerful summon but I had never seen any plant summon."

This made them question if even they were summoned.

Behind them, another boy struggled to get back on his feet. Kellan, Lv2 Shield Bearer. His defense was strong, but he lacked agility. He wiped blood from his lip and looked toward Reigns with wide eyes.

"That’s not normal...those summons...they’re too strong..."

Near him, a girl knelt with glowing hands. Lira, Lv1 Healer. Her strength was healing and support, and she was the only reason they had not collapsed earlier.

Her hands paused for a moment as she stared at Reigns.

"He’s handling everything alone with his summouns.He must awakened some some high Tier classes."

Even among same class,a difference between Tier create a drastic effect.

A swordsman with Tier 1 potential can be said to be miles behind a swordsman who had awakened a higher Tier swordsman class.

The last boy, Ren, Lv1 Archer, stood a little behind, lowered his bow slightly. His strength was ranged attacks, but fear had slowed his reactions.

"Are we even needed?" he said quietly, almost to himself.

In front of them, Reigns moved again.

He shifted his position slightly, his gaze scanning the battlefield while his hand lifted.

"Fire."

THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!

The shooters responded instantly.

Energy shots blasted forward, cutting through the incoming rats. One leapt toward the squad, but it was struck mid-air and thrown aside.

CRACK!

Another tried to bite into Kellan’s leg, but a shot slammed into its body before it could land.

THUMP!

It collapsed beside him, its body twitching before going still.The squad flinched at the sudden impact.

Reigns did not even look back at them. His focus remained ahead, his eyes tracking every movement.

Two rats rushed toward Arvin and Ren, their claws digging into the ground as they lunged.

Arvin froze for a split second, his grip tightening.

Ren reacted and quickly drew his arrow, releasing one shot that struck a rat, but as more rushed in, he could not clear them in time.

"Move!" Reigns’ voice cut through sharply.

"Fire!"

THUMP! THUMP!

The shooters redirected instantly.

Both rats were struck before they could reach them, their bodies collapsing right in front of the squad.

Arvin grabbed his sword and shouted,"He just saved us again...Come on guys."

"We have to stop being pathetic."

More rats tried to push through, but each time they got close, the shooters fired again, forcing them back or killing them instantly.

The squad struggled to regain their footing.

Mira raised her hand again and released another elemental blast. This time it landed properly, knocking one rat aside and burning its side.

Ren finally steadied himself, pulled his bowstring again, and released another arrow, hitting a weakened rat.

Kellan forced himself forward despite the pain, raising his shield to block another incoming attack.His arm was still shaking from the impact.

Lira continued to cast buffs, her face pale and sweat formed on her forehead as her hands glowed.

They were trying.

But compared to Reigns, the difference was clear.

The battle slowly tilted.

After a brief but intense struggle, the remaining rats were finally brought down one by one. Their screeches faded, and the constant movement came to a stop.

Bodies of rats were piled on top of each other, blood soaking into the soil. The smell turned quite pungent.

And at the center of it all stood Reigns.The area around him had the most corpses.

The pile was noticeably higher, almost forming a small mound. The sight alone shook the squad to their core.

They stood there frozen in shock.No one spoke, and even their breathing felt loud in the silence.

Fear slowly crept into their expressions.

It was not due to the monsters but because of the person who had just wiped them out so easily.

Arvin tried to keep his composure and forced a small smile, though it looked stiff.

"Thanks buddy for helping us. We don’t have anything now, but I swear that if you tag along with us anything the monster drops will be yours."

He then looked at his squad, and they nodded quickly.

"Yes..We have no problem."

"Also thanks for helping us," Mira, Lira, Kellan, and Ren also spoke at the same time, their voices overlapping slightly.

Reigns kept his summons on guard and smiled lightly, wiping the beads of sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand.

"I am Reigns..No need for such hospitality. In such an unfamiliar environment we should look out for others."

As he moved his hair back, everyone paused for a moment.

Black hair and crimson eyes. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

He looked sharp and composed but more than that they felt as if they had seen this guy but can’t remember it.

"Also about drops. Let’s keep that aside. For now, I needed a weapon. Does someone have a spare?" Reigns asked, his tone calm.

Being barehanded made him feel restricted. Having a weapon would boost his strength, and moreover, he could use reap.

Arvin shook his head and looked at the others.

"I don’t have one."

"I only have one staff," Mira spoke, lifting it slightly.

Ren searched around his belongings and spoke, "I have a small knife, but I don’t think it’s useful for mass killing."

Reigns was about to say that it was better than nothing when Kellan suddenly spoke with a bit of excitement.

"I think this would be useful."

He pulled out a small blade from his side and threw it toward Reigns.

Reigns caught it firmly.

"A curved blade..."

"I brought it alongside. It came with one free upon others."

Reigns gripped the curved blade, which was somewhat similar to a scythe, and gave it a light swing to get a feel for it. The weight felt balanced enough.

"Where do you brought weapons?" he asked, glancing at them.

Mira looked around briefly and then replied,

"The one who awakened the weapon-related class got it alongside their transport. Also you can exchange tradable Life Span and other things alongside in Beginner village."

"I see," Reigns muttered and then looked at the corpses scattered around.

"Some of them might have cores. What to do about it?"

Hearing this, Arvin shook his head immediately.

"We don’t need it..You can take everything."

"Nah that would be bad. Lets split it 60-40," Reigns suggested. Taking all would not have much impact for him, but he had found this group decent and decided to work with them.

Arvin and the others refused at first, but Reigns insisted firmly until they finally agreed.

They were about to start collecting when suddenly a chilling scream tore across the area.

It was not like the earlier ones.It made their bodies stiffen instantly.

All of them turned toward the source of the sound.And then they paused.
