Chapter 166: Chapter 165: The Scene Needs Censoring

Nathan Foster turned on the bedside lamp, only to find that the curtains weren’t drawn.

He looked at the dim night view outside; the garden was shrouded in shadows. Nathan stood up and went to the window, looking out for a long time, in the direction of the main building.

Harold Foster and his wife lived there. Nathan had been independent since he was young and rarely lived with his parents.

Since he could remember, he had been living alone here.

Nathan stood by the window for a long time, continually observing the night outside.

When sleepiness finally crept in, he lay back in bed, turned off the bedside lamp, and closed his eyes. The blood-stained hands reappeared before his eyes.

Nathan sat up again, frowning deeply.

Since that incident, he hadn’t had this nightmare for many years.

Nathan opened the door and walked out.

Now it was early summer, and the heat was starting.

South Grant naturally had a bit of a cold constitution, and during her period, it was excruciating.

She often dressed in men’s clothes, so she could only endure it then.

Thus, during summer, she avoided using air conditioning.

Feeling hot, she kicked off the thin quilt covering her.

After a while, she sensed the quilt crawling back over her. In her dream, South hummed a little, then turned over and continued sleeping.

Then she felt something cool beside her; due to the heat, she snuggled closer.

Snuggling for a while, South felt it wasn’t enough.

She hugged it, but it was unexpectedly big, and she couldn’t hold it fully.

South lifted a leg and pinned the cool object underneath her.

Hmph, it’s so cool, yet won’t let me touch it. Let’s see where you run off to!

Initially, Nathan Foster couldn’t sleep and often had nightmares in that room, so he came to lie down by South Grant for a while.

Unexpectedly, as soon as he lay down, she snuggled up to him. What’s worse, she wrapped her limbs around him.

Nathan then moved her leg aside, but South pressed down again, even lying entirely on top of him.

Before, when South and Nathan slept at the military base, even asleep, she remained alert.

So back then, even when South fell asleep, she stayed on the edge of the bed.

But now, South didn’t have this concern and thought Nathan was sleeping next door and wouldn’t come over.

"If your hands wander again, I won’t be polite!"

South was sleeping soundly but was startled by his voice. She then opened her eyes.

Seeing Nathan beneath her, she gasped and quickly tried to sit up.

But before she could, Nathan pulled her back down.

Because of South’s sudden movement, Nathan’s pull made her collapse back onto him.

And just like that...

The scene turned into one that needed censorship.

Nathan looked at South, their lips just touching. South gazed at Nathan for a while before quickly lifting her head.

"I wasn’t..." trying to do it on purpose.

Before she could finish saying the word "on purpose," Nathan cut in:

"Talking in your sleep, sleepwalking, molesting me in your dreams— I told you before, and you didn’t believe it. Do you now?"

"I..." Even if South had a hundred mouths, she couldn’t explain it.

She had no idea how it happened; all she remembered was snuggling up to something cool for relief. Then it turned out to be Nathan?

"Oh, why am I so cold? I thought I was cuddling something cool, that’s why..."

As South spoke, Nathan interrupted her.

"No need for excuses."
