Limited Time Marriage: Nice to Meet You Mr. Foster
Chapter 180 - 179: Manual Like
After the headmaster took them back, there was, of course, a round of scolding. A group fight like this had never happened in their school’s history.
And it involved so many students, all seniors. The police had to reluctantly tolerate it, otherwise, if they didn’t, it could have ended with them being detained for a while, which not only would have affected their entrance exams but could also leave a record, greatly impacting their future.
The headmaster held a meeting in the office, sternly reprimanding them.
But when he thought of seeing Marcus Shaw and another student from the second school beaten into pigheads at the police station, he secretly felt quite pleased.
It was simply outrageous, coming to their school gate to block people, totally not taking their students seriously.
Saying this made the headmaster lose face, too.
Although he was strictly scolding his students at the moment, he was actually protective in his heart.
After the lecture, the headmaster waved his hand and said to the students present:
"Hurry up and go to the infirmary to treat your injuries, but if there’s a next time, I won’t be so lenient."
The students noticed that the headmaster was all thunder and no rain, with no real punishment. They secretly rejoiced, and just as they were about to leave, they heard the headmaster call:
"Chester Lynch and South Grant, you two stay."
Chester Lynch and South Grant were startled, then stopped in their tracks, watching the other students leave, leaving the two of them in the headmaster’s office.
Originally, they thought that since they were the ones behind all this, the headmaster would give them a good scolding.
But unexpectedly, the headmaster came over and patted them on the shoulders, showing not a hint of anger but rather looking at them with appreciation, saying:
"Well done today. Next time students from other schools come to our gate to cause trouble, feel free to beat them up. If the police come, I’ll protect you."
Chester: "..."
South: "..."
So this is the real headmaster!
South really wanted to give him a thumbs-up.
After the headmaster finished talking, he patted them both and let them go.
Once they were out of the headmaster’s office, South Grant and Chester Lynch exchanged glances and couldn’t help but burst into laughter.
South Grant suddenly realized that in letting go of her crush, she seemed to have gained more.
No matter when, Chester Lynch had never smiled at her like this.
Ending this secret crush, she gained a true friend.
"Chester, thank you," South Grant said to Chester Lynch from the bottom of her heart.
"Was it also just for a thank you last time when you saved me in the basement?" Chester Lynch asked back to South Grant.
South Grant couldn’t help but smile, and then Chester Lynch smiled warmly at her, saying:
"Hurry back to your class, and be careful going to and from school. If Mr. Foster is available to drop you off, let him take you. If he’s not, tell me, and I’ll take you to school."
Chester Lynch always felt like a gentle spring breeze, making people feel warm and pleasant.
"Okay." Nathan Foster isn’t going to give Chester a chance to take her.
Then they both returned to their classrooms and continued with classes.
By noon, just after school let out, Chester Lynch came looking for her.
He didn’t come empty-handed. As he approached South Grant, Chester Lynch handed a bottle of medicine to her.
"I’m returning this to you." This bottle of medicine belonged to South Grant. She had given it to Chester in the morning.
"Your face injury hasn’t healed yet. You should keep it; I don’t need it right now."
Chester Lynch didn’t hesitate and put the medicine away, then looked up at South Grant, saying:
"To thank you for the medicine, let me treat you to lunch. You won’t refuse, will you?"
(Hey there, are you sure you’re not trying to woo South?)
