Limited Time Marriage: Nice to Meet You Mr. Foster
Chapter 187 - 186: Nathan Foster’s Blind Date Candidate
Nathan Foster provided her with convenience, so South Grant certainly wouldn’t refuse. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚
He had already kissed her and touched her, so he had to collect some interest for himself.
After school at noon, South Grant didn’t go to the school cafeteria; instead, he went to The Sutton Family.
Rosalind Sutton hadn’t taken on any scripts recently and was resting at home.
When the guards of The Sutton Family saw it was Nathan Foster’s nephew, they didn’t stop him and took him to see Old Master Sutton.
When South Grant met Old Master Sutton, he was very polite and straightforwardly stated his purpose.
After hearing him, Old Master Sutton smiled and said to South Grant:
"Coincidentally, Rosalind is home today. I’ll call him down so you can talk in person."
Because South Grant was Nathan Foster’s nephew, Old Master Sutton had a good impression of him, unlike how he usually rejected others in the entertainment industry.
At this moment, Rosalind Sutton came down and personally took South Grant upstairs to his room.
When South Grant entered Rosalind Sutton’s room, he saw many scripts of various sizes on the coffee table in her living room.
Rosalind Sutton’s manager couldn’t dictate her career; those scripts had to be agreed upon by Rosalind Sutton before the manager could negotiate with the production.
Otherwise, no matter how high the offer or significant the director, Rosalind Sutton wouldn’t accept the role.
Because of her background and family, Rosalind Sutton had this kind of clout.
Of course, directors and producers in the industry didn’t dare speak ill of Rosalind Sutton either.
When Rosalind Sutton had her first acting gig, Old Master Sutton assigned several guards to her.
Back then, no one in the entire crew knew Rosalind Sutton’s background, but they were intimidated by those guards.
As of now, there’s no one in the entertainment circle daring to mess with Rosalind Sutton.
After seating South Grant, Rosalind Sutton asked him, "Coffee or a drink?"
"Plain water, please." South Grant replied politely.
"What a coincidence, it’s the same for me." Rosalind Sutton brought two glasses of plain water, placing one in front of South Grant and one in front of herself.
She then sat opposite South Grant, glanced him over, and with a smile said:
"People often say nephews resemble their uncles, but you don’t look alike at all."
South Grant was slightly surprised by Rosalind Sutton’s remark.
For some reason unknown, South Grant felt like there was some past between Rosalind Sutton and Nathan Foster.
"Does Miss Sutton know my uncle?"
Rosalind Sutton laughed and said, "I grew up abroad, and when I returned two years ago, my grandfather arranged a blind date for me. The first person I met was your uncle."
South Grant was taken aback, not expecting such a connection between them. Maintaining a smile on his face, he politely said:
"Miss Sutton is so dazzling and graceful, how could my uncle ever be worthy of you?"
When speaking of Nathan Foster, South Grant was filled with disdain, which amused Rosalind Sutton.
"Does your uncle know you talk about him like this behind his back?"
"Just speaking the truth. My uncle is aloof and sharp-tongued, hard to get close to. Anyone who has to spend a lifetime with him is truly unfortunate."
South Grant recalled the scene when Nathan Foster had taken him to see Henry Grant confessing to Rosalind Sutton,
Back then, Nathan Foster had said that Henry Grant’s confession would be in vain, exposing his hypocritical nature in front of Rosalind Sutton.
In hindsight, maybe Nathan Foster had his own agenda, and simply didn’t want anyone pursuing Rosalind Sutton. The more South Grant thought about it, the more plausible it seemed.
