South Grant finished speaking, only to see Nathan Foster’s face turn utterly grim.

"Are you trying to save the other students, or are you trying to save Chester Lynch?"

South Grant was stunned when she heard Nathan Foster’s words.

But the fire waits for no one, and South Grant didn’t have time to explain too much.

"This is not the time for jealousy, we need to save people first!"

She tried to pull Nathan Foster, but with her strength, there was no way she could move him.

"I’ll explain to you when we go back!" South Grant pleaded, "Nathan Foster, there are many students backstage, all living lives, not just Chester Lynch!"

South Grant walked over, grabbed the bucket of water, poured it over herself, grabbed a cloth to wet, and then covered her mouth and nose, heading backstage.

As soon as South Grant went in, she realized why people inside couldn’t get out.

The smoke was so thick it impaired visibility, impossible to see.

Moreover, at such high temperatures, it wouldn’t be long before a person couldn’t endure.

South Grant dared not delay, covering her mouth and nose, she continued to move inside; hearing sounds on the left, she didn’t even ask which student it was, just turned left towards the changing room.

"Where are you?"

She shouted, just opening her mouth, the smoke caused her to violently cough.

"I’m here! Help me... help me... cough cough..."

South Grant heard Wendy Lynch’s voice.

Fear had made her voice tremble.

South Grant, covering her mouth, continued to walk forward; she followed the voice and reached Wendy Lynch’s vicinity, eventually finding Wendy Lynch.

Seeing Wendy Lynch coughing so much she could barely breathe, South Grant covered her mouth and nose with the wet cloth she held.

Holding her breath, South Grant bent down to pull Wendy Lynch up.

Wendy Lynch was already exhausted, so South Grant carried her on her back.

In between, when South Grant exerted herself, inhaling choked her with the smoke.

She coughed until tears came out, but her feet dared not halt.

By now, the fire had begun to spread, and the temperature was rising higher.

Through the thick smoke, South Grant saw the path ahead.

As she was about to go out, the hanging lamp above suddenly snapped, burnt and broken.

When South Grant heard the noise, she tried to dodge but was already too late.

Nathan Foster carried out Chester Lynch, who was trapped and couldn’t find his way out, and looking towards the direction of South Grant, saw she wasn’t there.

She must have been taken out by Ivan Keller.
