Chapter 104: Starly

With a goal, Andrew instantly gained motivation. Without needing Scarlett to supervise, he put most of his energy into studying.

Ethan and the others looked at the serious Andrew in class and thought he must have taken the wrong medicine.

Scarlett, meanwhile, was preparing the English midterm exam papers, often sitting in her office for an entire day.

Normally, Suzanne would be there to chat and keep her company, but Suzanne had gone on a business trip for training a few days ago, leaving Scarlett alone in the office.

"Should I call this Little Fellow to my office to study?"

Scarlett suddenly had the thought of calling Andrew to her office, "This Little Fellow doesn’t even know to come keep me company."

But after thinking it over, Scarlett gave up the idea, "Forget it. If the Little Fellow comes, his attention will definitely shift to me again, and he won’t be able to focus on studying."

The thought of Andrew always liking to stare at her and always wanting to stick close to her made the corner of Scarlett’s mouth curve upwards involuntarily.

"Hmph hmph~ Little Pervert!"

Just as Scarlett was resting her chin on her hand and chuckling to herself in reverie, the phone rang at an inopportune moment.

Tsk!!!

Scarlett frowned displeasedly and reluctantly picked up her phone. She instinctively thought it was a spam call and was about to hang up.

But upon seeing the contact labeled "Aunt," she paused slightly before answering the call.

As soon as Scarlett brought the phone to her ear, a chirping voice, like a nightingale, came from the other end.

"Little Scar, do you miss me?"

"Aunt? Why are you suddenly calling me?" Scarlett asked, very confused.

Upon hearing this, a dissatisfied complaint immediately came from the other end of the line, "What’s wrong! Can’t I even call you?"

"No, it’s just that I’m curious why you’re suddenly calling me, Aunt."

"I missed you! Also, you’re not allowed to call me Aunt, you must call me Little Aunt."

Scarlett, "..."

Scarlett’s Aunt was named Starly, only one year older than Scarlett. When they were young, the two were more like sisters, but later Scarlett gradually became quiet and taciturn.

But Starly remained chirpy, mischievous, and would even act spoiled and coquettish with Scarlett. If one were to use Andrew’s words, it was somewhat perverse.

Scarlett was also somewhat influenced by Starly; she often had strange thoughts in her heart, but she was better at restraining them and not showing them.

"Aunt, we are adults now. You are almost thirty, so let’s stop using these strange nicknames."

As soon as she said this, Starly seemed to be greatly stimulated and immediately became agitated.

"What are you saying! What are you saying! I’m forever eighteen, okay! And what’s strange about calling me Little Aunt!"

Scarlett sighed helplessly, "Sigh, whatever you say. So why did you call me? I still have to busy myself with creating midterm exam papers."

"That can wait. First, guess where I am right now."

"At the school gate."

"Ah! How did you know?"

After Starly asked, Scarlett roughly guessed, "You’ve been playing this trick since we were little."

"But you’re not quite right this time. I’m already inside your school."

"Ah???"

Scarlett let out a long sound of confusion. She didn’t have this habit before; it was subconsciously influenced by Andrew.

This was because Andrew often made a confused ’Ah’ sound.

"How did you get in? External vehicles aren’t allowed into our school, are they?"

"I don’t know. I just told the guard I was looking for you, and he opened the gate. Maybe it’s because I was driving a Bentley. Never mind that; where is your office?"

"The end of the corridor on the third floor of the Shancheng Building."

"OK."

A short while later, Starly found Scarlett’s office and happily rushed over to hug her, but Scarlett blocked her with her hand.

"Let’s skip the hug."

They were already adults; hugging all the time was improper.

Seeing this, Starly had no choice but to give up, sat down instead, and then looked around Scarlett’s office.

"Little Scar, why is your office so small? You’re a professor with a Ph.D., this treatment is too shabby."

"The school is expanding and renovating. I’ll get a new office next semester," Scarlett explained briefly.

Then, while creating test questions, she asked Starly, "You still haven’t said why you ran all the way to Blackthorn by yourself? Isn’t the company busy?"

"How is the company being busy related to me? Those stupid things are so annoying. If they want to fight, let them fight amongst themselves," Starly said very impatiently, seemingly having swallowed a belly full of anger.

"What’s wrong? Is that woman causing trouble again?" Scarlett stopped her work and poured a glass of water for Starly.

"Don’t mention her. Seeing that seductive bitch makes me sick."

Starly frowned, took the water cup, and drank it all down, then continued to speak indignantly: "I really don’t get it. There are so many beautiful women in the world, why does my brother insist on that seductive one?"

After speaking, Starly tossed the paper cup in her hand and waved her hand, "Forget it, let’s not talk about this, it’s annoying. I came to hang out with you."

As soon as the words fell, Starly’s angry and dissatisfied expression instantly changed to one of gossip. The speed of her face-changing was incredible.

"Hey, Little Scar, I heard you found a Boyfriend, is it true or false?"

Scarlett frowned upon hearing this, "How long have you been in Blackthorn? Not even an hour, how do you know?"

"It’s true! I just guessed!"

Starly immediately slapped the table and stood up upon hearing this, startling Scarlett.

"Who is he? What’s his name? Is he handsome? Is he a young boy? Or a muscular man?"

Faced with Starly’s endless questions, Scarlett thought for a moment and decided to just brush it off vaguely.

She didn’t really want her strange Little Aunt to meet Andrew first, fearing that if Starly knew, she might come up with some strange ideas.

"Uh..."

Scarlett wasn’t good at lying. Just as she was figuring out how to fool her, her phone on the desk rang with a voice call notification.
