Living With My Yandere Professor
Chapter 69: Romance Between Cold Professor And Young Boy
After leaving Dicky’s milk tea shop, Andrew went to check out a few other shops run by college students.
Some were easier to negotiate with; Andrew offered some money, and the owners were willing to make the exchange coupons Andrew requested. A few others were more shrewd, and Andrew had to haggle with them for quite a while.
However, he never encountered another fool like Dicky again, which Andrew found somewhat regrettable.
Meanwhile, in the residential area, Suzanne was struggling on the verge of death after eating a lunch she would never forget for the rest of her life.
"Sister Scar, I suddenly remembered I have an urgent matter. I have to leave now!" Suzanne stood up, ready to slip away.
Scarlett, who was busy in the kitchen, heard this, raised an eyebrow, and glanced at her, "You have an urgent matter?"
"I really do, really! I’m leaving now, Sister Scar, good luck!" With that, Suzanne fled as if escaping.
Scarlett untied her apron and sat down on the living room sofa.
After being busy in the kitchen for so long, she felt physically and mentally exhausted.
"Is what I made really that bad?" Scarlett tasted the last fried egg she made. After chewing a couple of times, her face darkened, and she spat it all out.
Looking at the terrible result despite hours of effort, even the usually confident Scarlett couldn’t help but sigh in frustration.
Although Suzanne hadn’t said anything while taste-testing, Scarlett could tell the other woman’s assessment of her cooking from her pained expression and the times she couldn’t help but spit into the trash can.
Over this long period, she had received almost nothing but negative feedback that damaged her mood and confidence.
Scarlett propped her head with her hands, sitting helplessly on the sofa.
She missed Andrew a little.
The previous time Andrew ate dinner she made, it was much worse than what she cooked today, but Andrew not only encouraged her but also pointed out what she did wrong.
"He’s been at the school for so long, why hasn’t he come back yet?"
Scarlett took out her phone, saw it was already past three in the afternoon, and after hesitating for a moment, she tapped on Andrew’s chat window and sent him a message.
"Have you eaten lunch?"
"?"
Andrew glanced upwards, checked the time—it was past three in the afternoon, and she was asking if he had eaten lunch? Am I not awake, or is Professor Scarlett’s mind fuzzy? Or has my phone’s time zone changed?
Andrew checked his phone again; the time zone was correct.
No problem! Then what does Teacher mean by asking me about lunch?
Although Andrew was filled with confusion, he still replied to Scarlett: "I have, I ordered hotdog at the school cafeteria."
"Oh."
Scarlett replied with a single word and then there was no further activity.
"???" This left Andrew completely bewildered.
A minute later, Scarlett sent another message: "When are you coming back?"
Andrew: "In a little while. I still have something to discuss with Mark Vane."
"Oh."
After another brief silence, Scarlett sent another message: "I just went out and saw a cat downstairs doing a backflip."
Andrew: "Huh? Really? Is there really a cat that can do a backflip?"
"I don’t know, I was just making it up."
"..."
The conversation abruptly stopped again.
Scarlett looked at the chat history on her phone and asked herself: "What am I saying? Why is it so contradictory?"
"But seriously, can cats actually do backflips?"
Scarlett didn’t know what nonsensical things she was thinking about. She never used to think about these things; it was always just work or studying.
But what was wrong with her now?
Just then, Suzanne also sent a message to Scarlett: "Sister Scar, want to go out and have some fun?"
"No, I’m a bit tired."
As soon as she replied, a new message from Andrew, filled with special concern, popped up on Scarlett’s phone.
"Scar, want to go out? I’ll come pick you up."
"Okay! I’ll wait for you at the community entrance."
Scarlett put away her phone, immediately stood up to change her shoes at the door, and the previously vacant and listless look disappeared, with the corners of her mouth turning up slightly.
At the same time, Andrew also stood up, preparing to leave.
"Boss, didn’t you say you had other things to discuss with me?" Mark Vane asked, looking at the rising Andrew, confused.
"I’ll send it to you on my phone later. I have an urgent matter, I’m leaving first." Andrew finished speaking, left the library, and headed toward where he parked.
He wasn’t an idiot. Those messages Professor Scarlett just sent clearly showed she was bored and wanted him to accompany her out.
Besides, how could there be a cat that does backflips? If there were, Ethan’s little brother would shrink by five centimeters.
If Scarlett wanted him around and he didn’t go back, he must have been hit in the head by a door.
Although Andrew had made a fierce declaration at the start of the semester, ’I won’t even date anyone like a dog in love.’
He admitted that his voice had been a bit loud back then.
’But!!!’
Andrew felt he was already quite dog-like, so he wasn’t exactly breaking his vow.
—
When Andrew drove to the community entrance, Scarlett was already standing there waiting.
She was still wearing the sportswear from her morning run, but she had put on a white, semi-transparent sun-protective jacket over it, adding a hint of alluring beauty.
The scorching sunlight grazed the side brim of her baseball cap, illuminating her snow-white face and making her skin look even more tender. Her thin, pink lips were accentuated, looking even more vibrant.
Andrew, sitting in the car, was stunned for a moment, and his heart couldn’t help but sigh in admiration.
Although he saw Scarlett every day, every meeting never failed to astonish him, making it impossible to look away.
Andrew suddenly understood Henry VIII. For such a beautiful girl to want his company, any man would lose control!
Just as Scarlett was about to walk to the passenger side door to open it, she bumped right into Suzanne, who was coming out.
Suzanne stared wide-eyed at Scarlett, "Sister Scar, didn’t you say you were tired and didn’t want to go out?"
"I suddenly stopped being tired just now and wanted to go out for some fresh air," Scarlett replied coolly.
Suzanne: "??????"
It wasn’t until Suzanne noticed Andrew driving the car that she suddenly realized, her mouth gradually forming an ’O’ shape.
Oh my! No wonder she suddenly wasn’t tired anymore. It turns out she has her little boyfriend to keep her company. No wonder Sister Scar has been ignoring me lately.
Suzanne suddenly got excited thinking about it, "Oh my god! The romance between the cold professor and the young boy! That’s amazing!"
