Chapter 68: Tricking Dicky

There were only two people inside: a girl who was boredly playing with her phone, and Dicky, who had been the campus heartthrob for a week.

Ever since the news spread that Andrew was a young master who drove a luxury car, he had shot up to become the undisputed number one ’Campus Heartthrob’ on the ranking list, and quite a few people had asked for his contact information.

Fortunately, Andrew had given Ethan’s contact information as his own, so he was basically unaffected.

Hearing the movement, Dicky looked up and saw Andrew. He quickly stood up and enthusiastically greeted him first, "Hello, we meet again. Last time we met, I didn’t even get a chance to say hello. My name is Dicky, a senior in the Finance Department."

Dicky’s family was indeed in business, so he had basic perception. People who could drive luxury cars into school, if he didn’t try to curry favor now, it would be hard to get to know them after graduating.

"Good, good, good." Andrew nodded with his hands behind his back, responding briefly.

Then, like an old leader, he walked around the bubble tea shop, examining it.

The decoration looked quite unique, but it was clearly overly elaborate and a waste of money. Moreover, judging by the quantity of bubble tea ingredients and cups in the shop, business was already very poor.

"Senior, you opened this bubble tea shop, right?"

"Yes, I did."

Andrew pouted after hearing this, To occupy such a good location within the school and run the bubble tea shop to the brink of bankruptcy, yet still brag every day about how amazing he was, there was no one else like this.

Andrew always thought that Tony’s shamelessness was unmatched in the world, but he didn’t expect there to be such a brave warrior.

Dicky probably noticed Andrew’s disdain and explained with slight embarrassment, "Actually, this bubble tea shop was just opened to satisfy my graduation internship requirement. Whether it does well or not isn’t very important."

Most seniors in their fourth year had to do internships. Dicky, relying on his family’s wealth, didn’t want to go to work, and his parents happened to want to see if he had any business acumen, so they let him open this bubble tea shop under the guise of entrepreneurship.

"So, Senior, this shop of yours hasn’t even earned back its initial cost yet, right?" Andrew asked casually.

Dicky could only nod awkwardly.

After a moment of silence in the room, Andrew sat down across from Dicky, raised an eyebrow, and revealed a slightly roguish smile, "Senior, I can make your bubble tea shop come back to life. Are you in or not?"

As soon as these words came out, Dicky instantly stood up excitedly, looking at Andrew as if he were seeing a long-lost father.

"Is that true?"

"I won’t lie. I’m not confident I can make you earn a massive fortune, but getting you to earn back the cost of opening the shop is not a problem."

After more than half a month of development, coupled with the previous advertising and flyers, ’Luna’ had basically spread throughout Blackthorn University. It had even replaced the function of the confession wall, and through word-of-mouth, many people from other schools were using ’Luna’ too.

With so many users, revitalizing such a small bubble tea shop was naturally not an issue.

"That’s enough, that’s enough!" Dicky was extremely excited and even grabbed Andrew’s hand.

His parents’ requirement was for him to earn back the cost of the bubble tea shop before they would let him inherit the family business.

Seeing that Dicky had taken the bait, Andrew happily pushed Dicky’s hand away, "Senior, don’t get excited yet. I’m here to seek cooperation, and I have a few small requirements."

"Even if you have ten requirements, it’s no big deal."

Andrew couldn’t help but laugh as he listened, and at the same time, he took out a pre-prepared ’cooperation’ agreement and showed it to Dicky, "Then, Senior, sign here."

"Okay, let me take a look." Dicky looked at it with a smile at first, but by the end, his face had turned dark.

The requirement was that he unconditionally provide Andrew with 100 bubble tea vouchers, as well as the operational decision-making power for the bubble tea shop for one year. If he breached the contract, he would have to compensate Andrew fifty thousand dollars.

Andrew, on the other hand, would help him advertise, but didn’t even make a concrete promise.

Even the President of the United States wouldn’t dare sign this contract.

"Isn’t this a bit too unfair?" Dicky asked Andrew.

When Andrew heard this, he waved his hand, "Ah, you can’t put it that way. One hundred cups of bubble tea will help you consume your inventory. If your raw materials expire, it’s a waste. I just want the management rights to use Senior’s shop to run a few promotions. This is helping you make money! This is clearly a fair collaboration where I put in the effort and you provide the money. Where is the unfairness?"

"Hiss, when you put it like that, it seems to be true," Dicky couldn’t immediately find what was wrong with Andrew’s words, but he still felt something was off.

"So, Senior, just agree to sign. I’m even helping you advertise for free, you should be thanking us," Andrew said with a grin.

"Alright then," Dicky picked up the pen and signed his name on the agreement, then even thanked Andrew, "I really wronged you just now, thank you."

"You’re welcome, you’re welcome... Hee hee," Andrew almost burst out laughing: I really am a conscientious person; the other party even has to thank me.
