It must be an Outsider.

Not from the inside. It is impossible for the person that did all of this to come from the inside.

The reason why they just haphazardly threw some formation and not bother much with it is because the highest level one could achieve in this world is simply Disk Formation realm.

To breakthrough further, they have to ascend. Or in the eyes of the people of Earth, break out from the Heavens of this world and enter Prime Earth.

When the rules of this world, the rules of heaven and earth that they created sense someone who wanted to break out and....able to break out appears and is tested with the heavenly punishment, they would be transported out and see the real Earth.

That was the rules that they set among others.

But now, when they arrive in this world using the back route, they found many rules....are changed.

And they are not for the good of the people of this world at all.

Someone from the outside is doing this.

They know for sure now.

What they didn’t get is....why?

Raymond, Hikigaya and Oreki has been thinking about this matter for quite some time.

One must first understand what Untainted Land really is.

It is a sanctuary.

A refuge.

After the Multiversal Convergence and as more and more people break through to Disk Formation, as more and more Earth prominently become stronger with magic, more and more dangers Earth would be exposed to.

From the moment Weronian appears and from the moment Earth banded together and defeated the Weronian, it sends a signal to those other intergalactic civilizations.

Earth is not just ready to meet other intergalactic civilization, they have the strength to pound you into the ground

There is a theory called the Dark Forest theory

It is the idea that extra-terrestrial civilization may actually exist in abundance across the universe

But they remain silent and hidden out of fear that revealing themselves would lead to destruction by a more technologically advanced and hostile civilization

It is one of the several proposed explanations of the Fermi Paradox.

The dark forest hypothesis or theory presumes that any space faring civilization would view any other intelligent life such as theirs as an inevitable threat and thus destroy any nascent life that make itself known.

When Earth defeated Weronian, it signals to all intergalactic civilization that is watching, that Earth could be a threat.

If they could defeat Weronian, they could defeat other intergalactic civilizations in the skies.

Raymond however had learned that dark forest theory is bullshit.

Also, they are not the first to sail the stars.

But it is also not a place where everyone is in a dark forest, waiting like a hunter, for someone to shine a light ad then snipe anyone in this dark forest

First of all, if one has the ability to create a space craft able to travel through the intergalactic expanse, one would have the ability to create telescope.

Unless you are a world of magic who could hide your entire planet using magic formation, most other worlds would be able to be seen by a powerful enough telescope.

Even before the Fall, earth scientist could already identity other planets

and as each year passes by more and more powerful telescope was developed and more and more planet were discovered

Of course, at that time, it was not like using telescope one would be able to see alien faces in these planets from so far away.

But it does beg the question.

If other aliens could create spacecraft to traverse space, they could surely built telescope to see other planets and a telescope powerful enough to see whether a planet have life or not. Adjust the time and space and one could determine whether a star has life or not.

However, the fact that Weronian appears and that there are other intergalactic civilizations in the Universe that knows of the existence of Earth proves one thing.

This dark forest....is not that "dark" at all.

Weronian knows about Earth. Raymond and most freedom fighter at that time, Hikigaya and Oreki included was once part of the interrogating team.

From what they understood, the Weronian called Earth...a Sacred Star.

They know about Earth long time ago.

But they simply did not attack it.

Because there was no need to attack Earth.

There are others star system around them that are closer and easier to attack. But it wasn’t until they were defeated and choose to attack Earth that everyone falls into motion.

They wanted to attack Earth and an organization called United Intergalactic Alliance did not agree.

They attack anyway and the World Orb was sent to Earth so that humanity could defend itself.

That was the narrative.

Raymond, Hikigaya and Oreki knows that the story might not be exactly like that. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

But that is the prevailing narrative

One thing is clear

The Dark Forest theory is nonsense.

Anyway, after a few dozens of these alien breaches from Weronian to Orvanians, to other relics like Poseidon Trident and Kaiju and many others, some reported and some did not, it created havoc and chaos on Earth

The powerful ones the ones who already reached Disk Formation rarely had anything to worry about.

Other than a full-on invasion from a superior galactic civilization, most Disk Formation levelers have a safe life.

They have long lifespan...at least longer compared to when they were just humans in a world without magic.

A lifespan of a thousand years is short compared to the lifespan of a Disk Formation realm leveler which could stretch for a few thousand years. Longer if they live outside of Earth

That is a whole other equation.

But Death Monarch and otherworld leaders notice something. With each chaos, humanity is dwindling.

Youth are killed.

Babies, old people, defenseless people, people who could not defend themselves in this new world, whether because they are unlucky, or unable to keep up.

Or being oppressed and suppressed by some factions or powerful organization unable to quickly level up.

Not to mention leveling up also have something to do with resources, talent....and circumstances.

Some people choose a shortcut not because they want to but because the circumstances force them to take a shortcut.

So, some people cut off their own foundation, quickly entering Disk Formation without stabilizing their Seeds or creating enough seed.

Some wanted to enter the Seed Forming quickly and neglected the foundation of the physical body during the Energy Disperse stages.

Azief for example perfected each of his foundation.

Perfected it to the peak before he breaks through to the next realm.

But not everyone has his patience or his luck, or the right circumstances to even wait. Some people.... are forced by the times the circumstances around them.

If in a nearby village, there is a Seed Forming tyrant wanting to kill your people in your village, even if you wanted to steadily raise your level, perfected your foundation, the enemy would not just wait for you to do that.

Either you or him would die first. In that situation, anyone would choose to sacrifice the future to make sure that today.... today exist.

This is only one scenario that happens in the world and there is many such situation unfolding in different scenario.

All of these are dangers. All of these are factors in the deaths of many people.

And knowing these dangers, Death Monarch wanted to create a place for the common people, a sanctuary where they could survive

when he was rearranging the world, basically rearranging the continents, the seas, the hills, the mountains, like he was the ruler of the universe, merging lands like he was splaying Tetris, he created the Untainted Land.

Surrounded by an invisible dome that made those who lives inside it unable to tell the difference whether there is an end or not in the edges of the continent

The land mass is already bigger than Earth entire landmass before the fall.

A hundred times bigger which means there is so much land that land would be the least of their concern.

The resources are in abundance but there are also dangers in the form of monsters and natural disaster and also aging and the natural order of life and death

The people in that world, would never be able to circle the entire Untainted land unless they reached Disk Formation and able to easily bend space and time inside the Untainted Land.

That is how big it is.

Monsters are also put in there.

But unlike the real Earth, the monster there are not powerful at all. They were put there to provide challenge and EXP

Then if that is not enough, there is the time regulator so that the time inside it is manipulated.

The people that are in there was not put there forcefully. Death Monarch did not force them to come there nor did he relocate them.

He made the people choose for themselves whether they wanted to go to that place or not.

If they believe that they could not find position in the new world, could not survive in the everchanging world, let the Untainted Land become their new sanctuary so that they could compete and be ready

After all, not everyone wanted to compete and not everyone wanted to strive.

Then there are some people that wanted to strive and compete but did not have the resources and did not have the chances.

Some are born too early. Some are born too late. And there was something else that Death Monarch did not say to the public.

It is also a protection for humanity.
