Chapter 1612: Chapter 1184: Devil’s Bargain_2

Kayway suddenly accelerated, grabbed the roof with both hands, kicked hard with both legs, and her whole body smashed through the rear windshield and dove inside! But in such a cramped car interior, the sharp flash of steel from within left the Beastwoman with nowhere to dodge!

She didn’t need to dodge!

The razor‑sharp straight blade sliced open her camo pants and chopped into her avocado‑green skin with a sound like clashing steel— as a Fist Claw Mage, her body itself was the strongest weapon, the toughest armor!

Bracing against the roof, Kayway kicked at the wine‑red‑haired Mage who was driving; even in such a terribly awkward position for exerting force, a casual kick from her was enough to blow open a fire hydrant. More importantly, in such a tight space, even a Fist Claw Mage couldn’t move freely, let alone a Sword Master who needed fighting distance!

Metal parts shrieked and rattled inside the car as the wine‑red‑haired Mage raised her right arm and actually tanked the Beastwoman’s kick head‑on. The brutal shockwave shredded her right sleeve completely, revealing a steel silver sheen full of metal texture underneath. It was obvious that what blocked Kayway wasn’t flesh, but some vicious tech.

"’Metal Doll’ Sesilia, hand over the Technique Spirit and I’ll let you walk away." Kayway growled low. "No one betrays the Messenger Agency and gets away with it!"

"Ha." Sesilia sneered. "As if you’d hand it over to the Painter if you got it. We’re this close to Azura—don’t you want to take it to the Devil and trade it for a wish?"

"Of course I will. The Painter’s right behind; he’ll catch up soon enough!" Kayway ripped the seat out and hurled it out of the car. "This is your last chance to run. Once the Painter gets here, you really think you’ll still get out of this in one piece!?"

"If the Devil really can grant wishes, why would I be afraid of a mere Painter by then?" That was what she said, but Sesilia’s voice clearly jumped an octave, screaming hysterically, "This is what I deserve! I will never let this chance slip by!"

"Stubborn to the bone!"

Kayway roared and slammed a punch out, thunderous and unstoppable. Sesilia snatched a sword out of the sword tube and hacked at it, but only managed to leave a faint red mark on the Beastwoman’s fist, not even breaking the skin!

Kayway hammered punch after punch down. Sesilia had to control the Floating Car with one hand while defending with the other; clumsy and off‑balance, both her arms took multiple hits, and her left arm was even dented inward. Yet Sesilia’s expression didn’t change. When the fabric on her left arm finally shredded apart, it revealed a second full‑metal alloy arm!

But Sesilia knew she was only struggling on her deathbed. Kayway was a Two-winged complete Mage, while she was just a Silver Mage who couldn’t even wield Miracles properly. Kayway didn’t even need to bother with casting—her steel body, tempered day in and day out for decades in Miracles, was enough to shatter all blades. If not for the cramped car making it hard for Kayway to exert full force, Sesilia wouldn’t last more than a few exchanges in front of her!

Unlike "Stablight," that guy who relied on tricks to win, "Iron Fist" Kayway was one of the Messenger Agency’s top front‑line fighters, second only to the Painter, a master of aerial combat. Just last month she’d had a conflict with the Nabistin branch and killed three Golden Mages head‑on!

When Sesilia realized Kayway had actually caught up to her, she knew this All-or-Nothing gamble had almost no chance of success. But to give up here—she couldn’t accept that either!

Chaos was the ladder upwards. A never‑before‑seen Supreme Star now ruled the earth; four never‑before‑seen nations had merged with the Gospel. The tide of a new era was drowning everyone, with endless dangers and opportunities piling up one after another... and the Devil of Azura was the only opportunity Sesilia could still grab!

Just then, Sesilia noticed a railway crossing ahead on the highway, with a train not far away clanking toward them at full speed. Thanks to the technological diffusion from Dazzling Star, Paradise, Earth Abyss, and the Blood Moon, and the flood of new orders, factories all over the Gospel were running full tilt, and the rail lines were at full capacity hauling raw materials and goods. The trains weren’t just fully loaded—they were running flat out.

Sesilia’s mind raced. She suddenly yanked out a box and tossed it outward. "Here, take it!"

Kayway couldn’t help glancing at it. In that instant, Sesilia seized the chance to flick a mechanism on her sword, bringing the gun muzzle to bear straight at Kayway’s head!

Bang! Kayway reflexively snapped backward. The High Explosive Gun Bullet skimmed past the Beastwoman’s flying dreads and blew away another chunk of the already candle‑in‑the‑wind car roof.

A Gun Sword from Dazzling Star... Kayway recognized the customized weapon at a glance. Weapons were always the fastest to spread. When Dazzling Star’s Gun Swords flowed into the Gospel’s black market, by the third day every arms shop had Gun Swords from different factories on display. But both gun technique and swordsmanship required years of training, and few people could truly wield a Gun Sword, so it hadn’t made big waves on the market. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

Sesilia had always used conventional blades while she was at the Messenger Agency; Kayway hadn’t expected her to have this trick hidden away... But if she thought she could beat me just with some gun technique, she was underestimating "Iron Fist" way too much!

Kayway sneered coldly inside, but when she looked up, she saw Sesilia already smashing through the window, sword tube in hand, and leaping out.

Boom!

The Floating Car, screaming along at full speed, slammed head‑on into the rushing train carriage. The train was unscathed; the Floating Car was hit so hard it flipped into the air, vaulted over the train, crashed down the slope on the other side, and exploded with a thunderous roar into a firework of black night.

Sesilia’s pair of steel long legs snapped out in time, blades thrusting into the train car’s body and scraping out a spray of sharp sparks as she just barely managed to board the train. Her steel left hand gripped the sword tube, her metal right hand clutched the edge of the roof, and her wine‑red hair streamed in the wind, making her look like a razor‑edged Metal rose.
