Chapter 1025

Pointing his hand downward, a long metal sword appeared in Amir’s hand, which he immediately snapped forward to deflect a wind spear from the enemy.

Then all around him, more than a dozen more swords burst forth and stabbed into the heads of the men in front of him.

Taking a single step forward, his gaze drifted to catch sight of Vince, who wasn’t even focused on him.

The shout from the enemy drew him back to the battlefield as a hundred metal spears suddenly hovered above him.

Without hesitation, he snapped his fingers and the spears descended toward the enemy out front.

Some were able to parry the attacks away while some were caught by their tips.

The metal spears were sharp and destructive as they shredded through whatever defenses they had.

Whirling around with his metal sword snapping in place, Amir managed to block a crushing hammer from an ogre that was swinging his way.

Bang!

He slid backward with his arms trembling from the force of the block.

He didn’t slide for long as the ogre charged at him almost immediately.

Within a moment, it was before the Captain with a descending strike from above.

Amir quickly angled his neck to the side in time before swiping with the metal sword in his hand.

The ogre was about to jump backward when fifty small, nail-like metal projectiles were fired out.

They smashed into his body, forcing the ogre to pause in pain.

Lifting his sword above his head, Amir swung it with all his might, decapitating the beast’s head as black ichor sprayed into the air.

"Tch. I have killed more beasts than I can count during my active days. Rubbish."

....

"Heck Yeah!" Rivock screamed in pure glee as he delved into the ranks of some warriors.

A pair of Ki longswords appeared in his hands almost immediately as he pounced forward and delved into a fluid, savage burst of movements.

Blocking a sword strike and leaning to the side to avoid a thrust toward his abdomen, his leg snapped forward, shattering the rib of one of the men.

Using that momentum, he flipped backward, landing behind one of the men who had tried sneaking up on him.

Unhesitatingly, his second ki sword flashed forward and tore into the man’s back before exiting the other way.

Yanking the sword out, Rivock hurled it forward with all his might, causing a loud crack to be heard as it plunged into the head of one of the warriors.

Whirling around almost immediately, he seized a punch mid-air before driving his own fists into the man’s midsection with brutal force.

Crimson droplets burst out from the man’s mouth and nose, his eyes widening in tremendous pain.

Rivock let his hand go, causing the man to go flying backward from the force of his punch.

The body crashed into the midst of the other enemies.

Snap!

BOOOOM!

The body suddenly exploded violently, so much so that even some of the men gathered around the man were affected as a violent blast of a shockwave burst out, flinging them away.

...

Greg had lightning crackling around his hands as he clapped them together loudly, causing a violent spray of arcing energy to bash into the enemies.

Whirling around, he zipped to the side just in time as a heavy hammer crashed violently into where he stood, causing the earth to rupture open immediately.

Peering through the rising dust, his eyes widened as a bulky ogre spun around and gave chase after him.

Within a single second, the creature pounced toward him with full, terrifying speed.

The hammer was swung fiercely from the flank, which Greg barely managed to avoid by the skin of his teeth.

Crack! Bang!

A lightning arrow shot forward with deadly speed, but it was deflected by the ogre with a swift use of its hammer.

Greg didn’t relent for a single moment.

With each leap of his body backward, dozens upon dozens of lightning arrows roared out.

The beast was entirely unable to block them all, and they crashed into its bulky frame, slowing its movements down with each passing moment.

From the sidelines, Grey calmly swung his lightning sword forward, unleashing another massive slash that rocketed across the field with blazing speed.

It caught the bodies of a hundred men and also cleanly cleaved into the ogre Greg was currently facing, neutralizing the threat in an instant.

Gustav was still smiling from where he stood, calmly watching as Grey’s allies were beginning to tilt the scales of war back to their side.

"What now?" Jim asked with a deep frown appearing on his face.

Gustav didn’t reply immediately as he watched Kira still dealing precise, devastating, surgical hit-and-run attacks on his vanguard.

Nearby, Noir was still blasting intense fireballs from his mouth and actively wrestling with the larger beasts around his area while darting around with his overwhelming speed.

Thalos was proving to be the most dangerous among these three creatures.

Nobody could touch him. Not the beasts, not the humans, not the warriors, and not the mages.

They couldn’t even sense him coming before his strike landed.

His greatsword was reaping lives effortlessly, as if that was exactly what it had been created for.

His stony leg cracked forward like thunder had just descended, and immediately, an enemy’s midsection caved in from the brutal force as they were violently flung away across the terrain.

Meanwhile, Kael hadn’t even gone all out yet.

His shadows combined with his lightning affinity helped him rain continuous devastation all aroun

d the area.

He wasn’t even moving from where he stood, and neither did Dante budge.

They both stood exactly where they had always been the moment they joined the fight, calmly destroying the oncoming Otherworlders from a distance.

Gustav grinned once more.

"Now?" He repeated the question Zodiac One had just asked him.

Lifting his head, he looked over at the other five zodiacs, who were standing and waiting patiently.

"... Now, it won’t be fun if he sends his elite men and I don’t send mine." His lips curved into a sinister smile as Orion’s head snapped instantly in the direction of the man.

Lucien’s face split into a wide smile beneath the shadows. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚

"Are you saying—?"

"Yes, Red. You all should go and cause absolute chaos for me."

The five zodiacs beamed incredulously as they all moved as one, leaving Zodiac One and Gustav behind on their thrones.
