Married For Now
Chapter 273: FAMILIARITY
"GOOD MORNING, Euntak-ah."
Aigoo.
Cho Euntak could only shake his head while looking at Baek Jeho.
He met the clingy jerk as soon as he got out of his apartment because, yes, Baek Jeho moved into the unit next to him.
Yep, Baek Jeho just wanted to live next to Cho Euntak.
How desperate.
But, admittedly, he liked that Baek Jeho was acting that desperately.
Especially now that I know he’s doing this because he likes me.
"Good morning, Baek Jeho. Are you sure you’re already awake?" Cho Euntak teased him. "You didn’t have to wake up early since you don’t have morning classes today."
"Yes, but you do," Baek Jeho said, opening his eyes a bit wider as if doing so would get rid of his drowsiness. "And you like having breakfast in your favorite café, don’t you? Let’s eat together."
Tsk.
This brat really knows me so well.
"You’ll drive?"
"Of course."
"Then better make sure that you’re wide awake," Cho Euntak said, gently pinching Baek Jeho’s cheeks to make sure that the brat wasn’t sleepy anymore. "I don’t want to get into an accident because of a sleepy driver."
"That won’t happen," Baek Jeho assured him with a boyish grin. "Plus, being with you just wakes me up effortlessly."

CHO EUNTAK only liked a good iced coffee and an excellent French toast for breakfast.
He also liked pairing his toast with savory sides like crispy bacon, eggs, and hash browns.
It was his staple breakfast in the café that he discovered near their university.
"Their eggs benedict here is good," Baek Jeho said, praising his breakfast. "Thank you for letting me know about this café, Euntak-ah. Let’s have breakfast here every day."
Aigoo.
That was smooth.
"Well, it depends on our schedule," Cho Euntak said, refusing to make empty promises. "We just both returned to uni. And we’re in different departments. We’ll be busy doing our own things soon."
"I can and will always make time for you, Euntak-ah," Baek Jeho said in a casual yet sincere manner. "I’ll go wherever you tell me, whenever you want."
"Hmm?"
"What kind of reaction is that?"
"Nothing," Cho Euntak answered while shaking his egg. "I just remembered the times you ditched me to go on a date with your girlfriends."
Baek Jeho suddenly choked on his eggs benedict.
Aigoo.
Cho Euntak clicked his tongue before handing Baek Jeho a glass of warm water. "Here."
Baek Jeho chugged the glass of water in one gulp. And then he looked at Cho Euntak, obviously flustered, before starting his explanation. "I’m really sorry about all the times I was a jerk friend to you, Euntak-ah."
"It’s alright. You apologized every time you ditched me anyway."
"I promise that kind of thing won’t happen again."
"Okay."
"I’ll let my actions speak louder than my words this time," Baek Jeho said determinedly. "So, please don’t give up on me, Euntak-ah."
Aigoo.
Baek Jeho is really acting desperate, and I’m loving every moment of it.
"I already said okay," Cho Euntak said, rolling his eyes at Baek Jeho to hide how pleased he was at the moment. "Let’s just finish our breakfast and head to school."

OH, am I the only one watching this movie at this time?
Cho Euntak’s 3PM class was cancelled.
Both Park Sohee and Hong Sera had a date with their respective partners that day.
Unfortunately, he hadn’t made new friends yet since it was just the start of the semester.
Hence, he ended up going to the cinema alone.
And it was empty.
Cho Euntak thought of asking Baek Jeho to go with him, but he remembered that he had a full schedule that afternoon.
Ah, I should put my phone in silent mode.
He still wanted to be polite, even though he was alone in the cinema.
When he checked his phone, he realized that he had a message from Baek Jeho asking him where he had gone.
He’s acting like a dog abandoned by its owner.
Anyway, sent a quick text to Baek Jeho saying he was watching a movie before putting his phone in silent mode, and then he put his phone back in the bag.
Then he focused on the movie.
It was a foreign animated film that had been in the cinemas for two week now.
Everyone had probably seen it, hence he was alone there at the moment.
I like the colors in this film.
Cho Euntak enjoyed the movie because it was about a young Asian painter, who was sent to Europe to study art.
Anyway, the storyline was good.
It had a tinge of romance, too.
But he actually enjoyed the aesthetic of the film more.
I want to paint.
"Cho Euntak, you’re here."
Huh?
The film was halfway done when Cho Euntak heard a familiar voice beside him.
When he turned to his side, he was shocked to see Baek Jeho sitting next to him, catching his breath as if he had run to get there.
"How..."
"This is the nearest cinema to our school, so I figured you’d be here since I know you wouldn’t commute somewhere far just to watch a movie," Baek Jeho explained. "I checked the films available at the moment. This one is the only movie I know you’d be interested in. You like animated films with pretty visuals, after all. When I saw how colorful the movie poster, I just knew I’d find you here." Baek Jeho then grinned, obviously pleased with himself. "And I was right."
Aigoo.
Baek Jeho really knows me so well.
Cho Euntak didn’t know what to do.
He felt so overwhelmed that he felt the urge to be closer to Baek Jeho.
In ’that’ way, too.
"Baek Jeho."
"Yeah?"
"You said you liked me."
"Yes, I do."
"Then can you kiss me?"
Baek Jeho suddenly turned serious. "Of course. You have no idea how much I’ve imagined us kissing. So, if you allow me—"
Cho Euntak shut Baek Jeho up with a kiss.
Well, more like he pressed his lips against his with his eyes shut.
And since it was his first kiss, he actually didn’t know what to do next.
Of course, he had seen it happen in movies and webcomics.
But now that Cho Euntak was in that situation, he realized that his knowledge wasn’t enough.
Thankfully, Baek Jeho quickly took action.
The Alpha cupped his face between his hands while moving his lips.
That was the moment Cho Euntak realized what his mouth being "devoured" meant.
This is so intense...!
And it got even more intense when Baek Jeho’s tongue plunged deep into Cho Euntak’s mouth.
Oh!
Cho Euntak thought he was going to lose his mind...
... until Baek Jeho abruptly stopped and cut the kiss.
Huh?
Why did he stop?
Baek Jeho suddenly got up from his seat. "I’m sorry, Euntak-ah."
After that, Baek Jeho bolted out of the cinema.
Cho Euntak was left hanging, shocked and confused.
But it didn’t take him long to realize what had just happened.
Ah.
Baek Jeho probably realized that he couldn’t see me as a boyfriend after our kiss.
Was Cho Euntak that bad at kissing?
Needless to say...
This hurts so bad.
