"Wait, what?". Aunt Penelope exclaimed, while looking like I had thrown a bomb at her face.

She looked taken aback as she continued to look at me without blinking. "What did you just say, Anastasia? Can you repeat it? I must have misheard". She said to me.

I understood her reaction, as that was normal.

I mean, who wouldn’t be shocked if they were told out of the blue that they had nephews who they never knew existed?

"It’s just as you have heard it, Aunt Penelope. The twins are my brothers. I brought them back with me, and they were the ones who donated their blood to you and played a crucial part in healing you". I told her the truth, without hiding anything from her.

"This- this can’t be". She muttered and staggered back.

This was the first time ever that I saw her behave like this.

"You should not have brought them. Are you alright?". She asked me and looked worried.

I smiled at her because I understood her once again.

She must have thought that I had brought them because I had no choice. She must have thought that I was bothered by their presence or something.

Unknown to her, I feel the exact opposite.

"I am alright, Aunt Penelope. I have never been better". I told her. It was the truth. At that moment, I added, "Where is Beta Damien? And Fireball, Irving, Anders and the twins".

"They are at Beta Damien’s mansion". Aunt Penelope replied to me, before asking, "There is something I am curious about. Fireball and Irving, are they truly just your aides?".

Her question was unexpected.

"Why, yes. Is there something wrong?". I asked her, while trying not to look as if I was hiding something huge from her.

"Oh, not at all. I am just surprised that they are your aides, since I could not sense their auras. So, they must be humans, right?". She asked me.

Truly, I hated to lie to her, but I had to, as I knew exactly how dangerous it was going to be for me and for her if she knew too much about me.

"Em, yes. They are humans, Aunt Penelope. I found them interesting and made them my aides. Especially since they were orphans". I lied to her with a straight face, and felt a little bit awful about it.

Though, what would one have me do?

Tell her the truth? She might freak out if I told her everything about me. So, not yet.

"Alright". She nodded at me in approval.

Wanting to change subjects, I asked her, "Are you feeling better, Aunt Penelope? I hope that there is nothing else bothering you".

She shook her head at me. "No. But-". She sighed, then continued to say, "I miss her dearly". 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

My eyes softened as I heard what she said.

I can never imagine myself losing Elektra.

I should probably never imagine anything like that.

"I guess I will begin to live with this pain until I die". She stared at the ceiling as she said, and I saw a drop of tear fall to the ground, before she wiped her cheek.

She returned her attention to me and forced a smile on her face. "Anyway, I would like to meet the twins again". She said to me.

"Sure, Aunt Penelope". I replied to her, and right at that second, I snapped my fingers and teleported, also taking Nikolai with me, because I was afraid that he might turn the entire hospital upside-down if I did not take him with me.

We teleported right outside Beta Damien’s mansion, and from where we stood, I could hear some noise coming from inside.

I got curious and teleported once more, but this time, in his mansion’s premises, where I saw him teaching Anders how to fight.

And Caden and Chase stood in a corner, watching.

While Fireball and Irving sat in a corner looking bored, like their lives had been drained out of them. But when they noticed my presence, their eyes sparkled with big delight, and they rose up from the spot they were sitting and hurried to my side.

Even Caden and Chase made their way towards me.

While Damien stopped training Anders, who was sweating like he could pass out at any time.

"Ma- I mean, Alpha Anastasia!". Irving said to me.

I knew that she almost called me ’Mama’.

"Greetings, Alpha Anastasia". Anders greeted me while panting, and I acknowledged him with a nod.

"Sister, you are here". Caden said to me as he arrived at my side with Chase.

As for Chase, when he arrived at my side, he leaned forward, holding onto my shoulders as he whispered, "Your pack is scary without you, elder sister. I almost couldn’t breathe well".

I forced myself not to laugh as soon as I heard what he said to me. That prompted me to ruffle his hair playfully.

"And, I know you are the chosen child of the moon goddess. But how does it feel when the moon goddess personally comes for you? That is awesome, right?!". He exclaimed and was looking at me with complete awe.

I pinched his cheek and played with it because he looked really adorable.

Totally different from Caden, even though they had the same face. But honestly, if they had the same hair and the same eyes, I am afraid I might not be able to tell them apart.

I stopped pinching his cheek but held onto his hand as I turned my attention to Damien, whose eyes were fixed mainly on Nikolai.

’Seriously, when will he learn to be calm around Nikolai? I could feel his hostility even though I am here in the empty abyss’. Elektra said with a hiss.

Typical.

"Nice job on training Anders, Beta Damien". I said to him, and he nodded at me in acknowledgment.

I added, after a moment of awkward silence, "Keep on practicing, everyone. And, remember to continue keeping Anders safe. I have to go with Caden and Chase to meet Elder Penelope".

I teleported with Caden and Chase after I finished talking, and didn’t wait for anyone to say anything to me.

Though I forgot one thing.

I didn’t bring Nikolai with me.
