Chapter 1363: Chapter 1357: The Drop-Dead Gorgeous Man at the Company Entrance

Sophia Hamilton went to the bank to cash the check, afraid that Violet Zimmerman might regret it. On her way back to the company, her small hand kept touching that card through her crossbody bag from time to time, the corners of her lips all lifted up.

The driver saw her repeat that motion several times, couldn’t help glancing over through the rearview mirror, and asked with a smile, "Secretary Han, what’s got you so happy, did you hit the jackpot?"

"Pretty much!" Sophia touched the bank card again through her bag, her happiness written all over her face.

When it was time to get off work, Sophia had just come out of the elevator when she saw lots of colleagues standing in front of the company entrance, pointing at something and quietly gossiping about it.

Out of curiosity, Sophia walked over while looking outside through the glass door.

On the street facing the company entrance, a man was standing there holding a bouquet of blazing red roses.

The man was wearing a gray-blue suit and a light blue shirt, no tie, the shirt collar not fully buttoned, casually undoing two buttons, revealing part of his chest, on the fair side, not a healthy tan.

The suit was perfectly tailored, nicely outlining the man’s broad, strong shoulders and lean waist.

His short hair had been deliberately styled; it was hard to say what cut it was, but it looked pretty similar to the male stars on screen.

The killer part was the way he was standing right now: one hand holding the roses, the other tucked into the pocket of his dress pants. Maybe he’d been waiting too long and was tired of standing, so he was casually leaning against the car behind him, his phoenix eyes fixed on the direction of the company doors. It was clearly a lazy posture, yet it added a few degrees of sexiness.

The corners of Sophia’s lips lifted up unconsciously. That bad guy, he didn’t even call her in advance, at least let her have some mental prep, right?

Her heart was obviously floating on air, but the moment she walked out of the company, Sophia’s little face instantly turned frosty. She didn’t even give Evander Lancaster a glance, just held onto the strap of her crossbody bag and headed straight toward the temporary parking spots up ahead.

"Sophia," Evander straightened up and walked toward her at an unhurried pace. Since they’d agreed this was just for show, he didn’t rush.

With one hand holding the bouquet of roses and the other tucked into his pants pocket, his slow, deliberate steps had the female employees at the company entrance who were watching the drama go weak in the knees.

...Wow, he’s so handsome, literally perfection...

...Seriously, how is Secretary Han’s life this good? She must’ve saved the Milky Way in her last life...

Under the envious gazes of her coworkers, Sophia quickened her steps, keeping her little face tight as she briskly headed for the parking area.

"Sophia Hamilton!" Evander called out through gritted teeth, annoyed at how she was acting right now. This little thing, does she have to make it so real? Just a bit of playacting would’ve been enough. Walking that fast, she’s not even afraid of tripping and hurting the baby.

Sophia finally stopped, turned her head, and looked at Evander with a cold little face. "Evander Lancaster, I already told you, we’re done! Why are you here again? Is there only one woman in the whole world or what?"

Sophia’s voice wasn’t quiet; in fact, she’d raised it on purpose. The coworkers gathered at the entrance to watch the show almost had their jaws drop.

Secretary Han...isn’t she crazy? A top-quality man like this and she can actually bear to break up with him. Wahaha...really want to ask if she’s got any more boyfriends like him, we’ll take a stack...

Evander took a few big strides to stand in front of Sophia, lowered his voice, and muttered through clenched teeth, "You little thing, that’s enough."

Then he immediately switched to a smiling expression, grabbed Sophia’s wrist, softened his tone in a "pleading" way, "Let’s not fight anymore, okay? I know I was wrong, I shouldn’t have ignored your feelings. There’s wind out here, let’s go home,"
