Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure
Chapter 746 - 745: All for You
The fruit knife was taken from the kitchen downstairs.
She heard Wyatt Sterling’s footsteps going upstairs before she went to sleep, knowing that he was asleep in the room.
Grasping the fruit knife in the palm of her hand, she tiptoed upstairs, knocked on the door, heard no sound, then quietly entered. In the dim room, she saw Wyatt Sterling on the bed, covered by a quilt.
Staying here was just to let Wyatt lower his guard. While he was asleep, she would stab him, killing him.
After all, The Sterling Family wouldn’t spare her because of Serena Sullivan, so she might as well drag someone down to hell, making The Sterling Family and Claire Sullivan suffer immensely.
The sharp knife in her hand went down, and June Kane felt a thrill, then another stab, her face grimacing terrifyingly. As she stabbed again, June saw the quilt tearing open with cotton spilling out, suddenly realizing something was wrong.
She hurriedly reached out to lift the quilt, and the lights from the tall buildings outside shone in. Although not very clear, she still saw the pillow and clothes under the quilt.
Wyatt Sterling wasn’t lying here as she had imagined.
The bedroom light turned on, and June Kane turned her head to see Wyatt coldly standing in the corner, staring at her.
In his hand was a home video camera. June glanced at the fruit knife in her hand and then at the camera lens, her body weakening as she collapsed onto the bed.
"Wyatt, you’re really something! You dared to calculate against me!"
She thought Wyatt was pure and filial, but it turned out he was just like Serena Sullivan, always plotting against others.
Wyatt looked at June without replying. There was a sound of the door opening from downstairs, followed by urgent calls and footsteps.
The door was quickly pushed open from outside. Simon Sterling saw Wyatt perfectly intact in the room, the pallor on his face somewhat easing, "Wyatt."
Wyatt approached, handed the notebook in his hand to Simon, and walked downstairs.
Simon turned his head to look at Wyatt, then glanced at June standing up from the bed, his gaze falling on the bed beside her.
A fruit knife lay on the bed, and the quilt was pierced in several places.
"Simon!"
June’s tears fell; this was the first time she saw Simon since she entered.
"Simon, you have to save me."
June cried as she went over to him. Looking into Simon’s eyes, yet not daring to get too close.
Simon bowed his head and pressed the button on the camera, the video recorded by Wyatt instantly played before his eyes.
In the footage, June Kane was stabbing the items under the quilt with a knife, her gaze so cruel that it evoked panic and anger!
"Simon, I did all this for you."
June saw everything of her attempt to kill Wyatt was captured on video, "I love you too much."
She sobbed, everything resulting from her excessive love for Simon.
Simon did not reply. His face gloomy, he stared at June Kane. The chill in his eyes made June’s heart frantically uneasy; her legs gave way, and she crawled towards Simon on her knees.
"Simon, if it wasn’t for me sparing Claire back then, she would have been in prison already, wouldn’t she?"
"Serena and Wyatt wouldn’t be living so well!"
"Living so well!"
Simon gritted his teeth, looking down at June kneeling on the floor. Thinking about June trying to drown Serena Sullivan on The Sterling Family island, about the video on the camera in his hand, he wished he could grind June Kane’s bones to dust.
"They aren’t like you, who could be so pitiful!"
Not a single one intact!
One without a father’s companionship and protection, one without a mother’s care.
All of this was caused by June Kane’s stubborn love.
