Miles Sterling got out of the car, glanced towards Vanessa Sterling’s studio, and then walked into a roadside guesthouse.

Vanessa Sterling stood dazed by the window.

It seemed Miles Sterling wasn’t new to this place, and he knew the address of her studio.

Yet he didn’t come to disturb her.

Perhaps as Jasper Jones said, Miles Sterling has really changed from before.

Two days later, Vanessa Sterling completely forgot about her agreement with Riley Raines, and as usual, she taught art classes to the children in her classroom.

Today, it was all female teachers at work, they likely hadn’t seen such a scene, and were upstairs watching the children, afraid to come down.

Vanessa was trapped in the corner of the desk, unable to get out.

Seeing Riley grabbing the tree trunk used for decoration by the wall, stumbling towards Vanessa.

"You’re a woman who doesn’t know what’s good for her, I see you need some discipline!"
