Li Chen nodded. "Seems you’re actually pretty smart."

Christina rolled her eyes and didn’t respond to him.

"Don’t rush." Li Chen shook his head, then glanced at Christina. "Besides, if you don’t have some trump card on you, then forget about ’we’. I’d be going in alone— if you go in, you’re just going to your death."

"Hmph!" Christina didn’t say more. Since Li Chen had revealed that he had the qualifications to enter, she had nothing left to hide.

Originally, she’d planned to wait until she’d enjoyed Li Chen’s panic-stricken expression before taking it out to give him a good scare. She hadn’t expected Li Chen to have his own way to escape, ruining her plan.

Under Li Chen’s gaze, Christina took out a broken little plank boat and set it on the Swamp. Then she carefully crawled onto the plank. To Li Chen’s surprise, once she climbed onto the plank, Christina actually managed to pull both feet out of the Swamp.
