My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!
Chapter 638: Agitated
The sound of footsteps came from the hallway, originating from Hans Montrose’s room. Kiki Sutton was afraid someone might harm Hans, so she put on clothes and went into the next room, but there was no one there. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
"Hans..." Kiki was shocked and ran downstairs, where the hospital was very quiet.
Kiki saw two shadows standing under the hospital gazebo; one tall figure seemed to be Hans Montrose. As she approached, she vaguely heard their conversation.
"Impossible, this is absolutely impossible. Only a madman like you would take that kind of medication; there’s no doctor who can save you. In the end, you’ll still die. Really, how could there be someone like you? Can’t find love, so you end up killing yourself first."
"My affairs are none of your business. You’re sure that the medication won’t show any flaws, right?"
"Of course I’m sure. I paid a lot of money to get it. It’s been tested without any errors."
Kiki covered her mouth. Hans isn’t ill; he wanted to die himself? What exactly does he want to do?
For Melody, but what can he gain?
"Crack." A sound came from under Kiki’s feet, and at such close distance, both Hans and the other person heard it clearly.
"Who?" Their expressions changed drastically.
Kiki turned and ran.
"Kiki, let me explain," Hans and the other person chased after her simultaneously.
"No, no, you’re all liars. I don’t want to hear it. I don’t want to hear it," Kiki ran out desperately. "I’m going to tell Melody, I need to tell her you’re deceiving her."
"Kiki!" Hans’s face suddenly changed drastically. "Watch out."
"Bang!" The loud noise and Kiki’s scream became one.
"An accident, an accident."
"Ah!"
"Kiki!" Hans picked up Kiki, who was covered in blood. "I didn’t deceive her, I didn’t. Three years ago, I was about to die, and it was by relying on that medication that I survived. I just don’t want to suffer anymore, just want to end it early. How can you be so foolish?"
Blood continually flowed from Kiki’s mouth, but she knew that both she and Melody Thorne had trusted Hans Montrose wrongly.
In the middle of the night, Melody Thorne received many calls from the hospital saying that Kiki had been in a car accident. She immediately rushed to the hospital with Jared and felt weak in her knees when she saw Kiki lying in the hospital ward.
"Why did she get into an accident?" Melody Thorne’s eyes were fixed on Kiki and the doctors. "Wasn’t she always staying next door to take care of Hans Montrose?"
"She stayed next door?" Hans Montrose leaned against the wall. "Why was she next door?"
"Miss Sutton has been staying next door. She said it was to facilitate taking care of you," the doctor said. "We also heard the noise outside and realized there was an accident; the specific reason needs to be investigated. Currently, it’s unclear."
Hans Montrose stood up, hiding the glimmer in his eyes. "She seemed to have been stimulated by something, which is why she suddenly ran outside the hospital. I heard the commotion and chased after her, and then the accident happened."
He spoke numbly, as if it had nothing to do with him.
"Why would she suddenly be stimulated?"
"I don’t know."
Melody Thorne entered the ward. Kiki was unconscious and looked lifeless.
"When will she wake up?"
"The injuries are quite severe; she may be in a coma for two days," the doctor replied.
"Alright, don’t be sad," Jared’s large hand covered Melody Thorne’s eyes. "I’ll bring in the best doctors; she’ll be fine."
