My Supernatural Girlfriends Spoils Me Rotten - Chapter 410: Strongest Dad Part 2
BOOOOM!
His punch slammed into his opponent, driving its massive body onto the field of spikes.
The monster roared in pain as steel dug into its back.
Ash didn't let up. He hammered his fists again and again into its chest and shoulders, each strike shaking the ground.
The spikes groaned under the pressure, sinking deeper into its flesh with every blow.
Blood spilled across its skin, but Ash's attack didn't stop. He pushed harder, his scales glowing faintly as his dragon bloodline fueled his rage and strength.
Slowly, the metal spikes buried deeper, piercing through muscle and bone until the creature's roars turned into desperate howls.
"ARGGGGG!" Its roar shook the ground. Both heads glared at Ash, their single eyes glowing bright red.
But it never landed a strike. Each time it tried to fire, Ash used wind magic to snap its jaw upward, forcing the blast to shoot harmlessly into the sky.
Desperate, it slammed its fists into the ground. The impact split the battlefield apart, shattering the metal spikes that held it down.
Broken shards of steel exploded outward, forcing Ash to shield his face as razor-like fragments cut through the air.
Before he could recover, one of the monster's huge arms swung upward. Its fist smashed into his side, the blow so heavy it felt like a mountain had hit him.
SWOOOSH!
His body flew across the battlefield, crashing through trees and skidding across the dirt, leaving a long trench behind.
Ash groaned, his scales cracked and glowing faintly from the strain. He forced himself to stand, but the creature was already on the attack. It unleashed a barrage of beams, each one faster and deadlier.
He raised a magic shield.
The first beam tore through the first layer. The second shattered it completely and slammed into his body, hurling him backward.
'I can't get hit!'
Using wind magic, he launched himself upward, dodging the rest of the attacks as they carved through the ground below.
More attacks followed, raining down one after another. The enemy gave him no chance to cast a powerful spell and no opening to close the distance. It had learned from its earlier mistakes and pressed the attack without pause.
'How much energy does this thing have? How can it keep attacking nonstop?'
He knew he couldn't keep running forever.
'If I don't hit back now, I'm finished.'
There was always the option of running away. But if this really was a test, then fleeing would only disappoint his father—and that was something he refused to accept.
'Focus.'
He took a deep breath and forced himself to think clearly while keeping his distance. As his mind settled, something clicked inside him. His thoughts went quiet, his body relaxed, and a strange calming sensation spread through him.
Just like that, everything slowed down. Useless thoughts—fear, doubt, even the pressure to please his father—faded away. All that remained was one goal: finding a way to defeat his opponent.
Its eyes burned red as it unleashed another volley of beams.
This time Ash didn't panic or rush. With Mind Zero active, he only moved when he needed to—just a small tilt of his head, a slight shift of his shoulder. One beam sizzled past, so close it brushed his cheek, but he didn't flinch.
"Too slow," he muttered.
Then he dove, cutting through the sky like a black-and-red arrow. Beams rained down, but he slipped between them, predicting every shot before it was even fired.
The monster's attacks, once impossible to dodge, now felt almost clumsy. Step by step, breath by breath, he closed the distance.
Both heads began to glow, energy building for their strongest strike yet. Ash clenched his fist, his scales shining with power.
He roared, thrusting forward with all his strength—
BOOOOM!
His punch connected with both heads at the same time. The energy they were gathering backfired, twisting out of control. In a blinding flash, the beams exploded from within, ripping the creature apart. Both heads burst like shattered glass, chunks of blue flesh scattering across the battlefield.
The massive body swayed, let out one last roar, and then collapsed with a thunderous crash, shaking the ground like an earthquake.
Ash hovered above the wreck and allowed himself a small smile. Awakening Mind Zero had changed everything. Now he finally understood how his father had grown so quickly—and how he was able to defeat opponents far stronger than himself.
In the distance, Asher watched with satisfaction as his son grew before his eyes. Mind Zero had always been within Ash, but his rapid growth meant he never truly needed it. By placing him in a life-and-death situation, Asher had forced the bloodline ability to awaken.
'Now that I look at him, he really does act more like me than my other kids,' Asher thought, touching his chin with a smile.
He figured it was because the other two had powerful mothers, which weakened his own bloodline in them. It wasn't that Lucy's bloodline was weak—it just wasn't on the same level as Mirelyn's or Hailey's.
'Let's see the others.' Asher snapped his fingers and teleported to his daughter's location.
She was still fighting his opponent.
The creature chasing her looked twisted and unnatural. Its body was long and thin, like its bones were stretched too far. Where its eyes should have been were empty holes glowing with green mist.
Every time it breathed, the air around it turned poisonous. Plants withered, grass turned black, and everything nearby died instantly—completely canceling out Ashmae's trees and roots ability.
'She's still too immature,' Asher sighed, watching her laugh and smile as if it were nothing more than a game.
Being brave wasn't the problem—her lack of any sense of danger was.
Sensing that Ashmae's fight would drag on, Asher teleported to where Ashley was. His battle was already over.
A beast at the Demon King level was beaten in a matter of seconds.
It was a commendable feat, but Ashley didn't really learn anything worthwhile from it.
'Time to increase the difficulty.'
Meanwhile, something major was happening in the human world. A being made of pure flame stood frozen in shock, staring at the planet's surface. Instead of being completely devoured as it had expected, the world was now encased in ice.
'W…Where is my child?'
