My Wife is a Hidden Big Shot
Chapter 380 - 356: Master, My Dad Requests to Speak with You
"Boss, heh heh..." Blondie gave a sheepish laugh, hoisting his toolbox. Ignoring Kyle Kane’s dark expression, he squeezed into the room. "Boss, mind if I use your room? Mine’s a little... smelly."
"Pardon the intrusion," Dawn Miles said with a slight nod to him.
Kyle Kane sighed in resignation and stepped aside, letting Dawn Miles in.
This room was much cleaner than Blondie’s. The blanket on the bed was neatly folded, and the sheet was pulled taut. It was clearly the room of a highly disciplined person.
"Bro, what kind of design are you looking for?"
Blondie had a carefree personality, but he didn’t dare sit on Kyle’s bed. Instead, he obediently sat on the other bed, which was used for storing miscellaneous items.
He even pulled a design book from his toolbox for Dawn Miles to look through.
The book was filled with nothing but fierce beasts and skulls. Dawn Miles glanced through it once, then rolled up her sleeve and said calmly, "Just cover this up."
"Holy shit! Bro, you’re one tough customer!" Blondie exclaimed, his face a mask of shock as he looked her up and down.
On her fair, slender arm was an old scar, over ten centimeters long.
Just then, Kyle Kane suddenly said, "You could get a phoenix."
Blondie paused, then flipped through the design book, finding a picture of a phoenix with its wings spread in flight.
"Isn’t this a bit too girly? A green dragon or a white tiger would be more badass..."
"This one is fine," Dawn Miles replied faintly.
Blondie scratched his head. "You sure you don’t want to reconsider the dragon or tiger? We could get a matching set..."
He even stuck out his own arm for Dawn Miles to see, only to get a slap from Kyle Kane.
"Hurry up. And don’t drip ink on my bed."
Blondie pouted and began to mix the colors.
When Dawn Miles placed her arm in front of him, he said in surprise, "Whoa, bro, your arm is totally hairless..."
Before he could finish, Kyle Kane slapped him again. "Ahem... Don’t mind him. His eyes are broken."
Dawn Miles shook her head, pulling off her large hood and face mask to reveal a head of short, silver hair.
Her delicate features left Blondie completely stunned. His hand trembled so much he nearly dropped the ink onto the bed.
"Holy shit, you’re a girl..."
Dawn Miles gave a slight nod, touching her hair. "Do you know how to dye hair?"
"Of course! The works: wash, cut, and style."
Blondie even reached out and ruffled her hair, saying indignantly, "You totally got ripped off. For the color to fade this badly, they must have used cheap dye. Come on, I’ll re-dye it for you. It definitely won’t fade..."
Dawn Miles nodded and quietly watched Blondie mix his pigments.
Kyle Kane stood to the side, watching their interaction with his thick brows slightly furrowed.
’This girl is so beautiful, and she’s all alone. Isn’t she afraid of running into bad people?’
"Where’s your family?" Kyle Kane asked.
"At home."
Kyle Kane had a younger sister around her age, which prompted him to ask, "Are you out traveling by yourself for fun?"
Dawn Miles thought for a moment, then nodded.
Kyle Kane’s brow furrowed even more. "Where are you headed? We can give you a ride."
"Niphoria."
Blondie’s eyes lit up. "Going abroad for fun? Is your family super rich?"
"Zack Sutton—" Kyle Kane called out warningly.
Blondie quickly shut his mouth. He scratched his head sheepishly, seeming a bit flustered as he said, "I didn’t... mean any harm..." 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢
"I know. You guys are good people."
Dawn Miles’s calm words made Blondie freeze. Most people, upon first seeing them, would instinctively keep their distance, their eyes filled with strange revulsion.
This was the first time an outsider had ever so bluntly called them good people.
A sudden warmth spread through his heart.
Dawn Miles continued, "I heard you mention opening a martial arts gym? Perhaps I can help."
Blondie grew excited. This girl was obviously from a rich family, so she definitely wasn’t short on cash. If she could invest in the boss’s gym, things would go much more smoothly. But Kyle Kane rejected the offer without a second thought.
Blondie looked on, confused, but after seeing the warning in his boss’s eyes, he had no choice but to shut his mouth.
For a moment, the room fell quiet.
Just then, Ditto Miles, which had been in sleep mode, suddenly lit up and spoke.
"Master, it is now 22:00. You should go to sleep."
Only then did Dawn Miles notice the time. It had gotten late without her realizing.
"Sorry for keeping you guys up." She glanced at the pigments in Blondie’s hand and immediately stood up. "Can this pigment keep until tomorrow?"
Blondie nodded. "Yeah, it can! Tattoos take a long time anyway."
"Pardon the intrusion." Dawn Miles picked up her silver box and Ditto Miles, and left their room directly.
"Boss, why didn’t you agree?" Blondie asked with some regret as he set the mixed colors aside, preparing to finish her tattoo tomorrow.
Kyle Kane sighed. Zack Sutton might have a fierce temper, but he was simple-minded at heart. The slightest bit of kindness or approval from someone would make him want to give them his all, which was why he had been tricked so many times.
He kicked him lightly. "How long have you known her?"
Blondie knew he meant well, but he still felt his judgment wasn’t wrong this time.
"Zack Sutton, don’t tell her about my family’s situation."
Blondie’s expression sobered, and he nodded.

「The next morning.」
Dawn Miles was in a state of meditation when she suddenly heard a soft knock on the door.
"Zack Sutton, you’re up early. She might not be awake yet."
Dawn Miles was surprised they were up so early. She slowly got out of bed and opened the door.
Outside, Blondie was about to walk away. When he saw her, he said in surprise, "We brought you breakfast."
"Thank you." Dawn Miles took the paper bag from his hand.
"Well, after you eat, I’ll do your tattoo," Blondie replied, scratching his head nervously.
Last night, Randall Warren had given him a lecture, saying it was obvious this girl wasn’t one of them. She hadn’t even told them her name yet, so he shouldn’t be so overly enthusiastic, lest he annoy her.
"My name is Dawn Miles. You can also call me Aurora Sinclair," Dawn Miles said calmly.
Blondie froze. A grin spread across his face, and he broke into a laugh. "Your... your name is really nice."
Dawn Miles gave a polite nod. "I’ll come find you at seven, is that okay?"
"S-Sure."
Humming a tune, Blondie returned to his room in a good mood and, for the first time in ages, started cleaning up.
"Zack Sutton, has the sun risen in the west?" Purple asked, astonished.
"Get lost. Rory’s coming over in a bit. Hurry up and put away your stinky socks."

Blondie’s tattooing skills were quite good, but right now, he was extremely puzzled.
Logically, no matter how good the technique, getting a tattoo should hurt. People usually took breaks after a short while. But the girl across from him looked so calm and composed that it made him wonder if his skills had genuinely improved that much.
Suddenly, his focus slipped for a moment. The tattoo needle went a little too deep, and the bleeding instantly increased.
"Sorry, sorry..."
Blondie quickly grabbed some ointment to smear on her arm, but the bleeding wouldn’t stop.
Seeing him frantically pulling out tissues, Dawn Miles took a small vial from her pocket. "Use this."
After finally managing to stop the bleeding, Blondie didn’t dare let his focus waver again. He concentrated for several hours until the phoenix was complete.
The ugly scar had been instantly transformed into the phoenix’s main tail feather, and it looked beautiful.
"Don’t let it get wet for at least two weeks."
Dawn Miles thanked him.
Only the two of them were left in the room; Purple had run off somewhere.
As Blondie cleaned up, he glanced at his phone and suddenly said, "They went to get skewers. Let’s go, we should hurry over too."
Just as he spoke, Ditto Miles’s voice piped up again: "Master, my dad is requesting a call with you."
