My Wife is a Hidden Big Shot
Chapter 381 - 357: Encountering a Villain at the Association Certification
Blondie was amused. "He has a dad?"
Dawn Miles gave a slight nod and said to Ditto Miles, "Connect the call."
Blondie leaned in curiously to watch. Ditto’s "head" suddenly lit up, revealing an exceptionally handsome face.
"Aurora, I’ve already arrived in the capital..."
The man on the screen was smiling, but when he saw Blondie, his expression suddenly froze. "And this is...?"
"This is Zack Sutton, a new friend," Dawn Miles introduced him simply, which made Blondie ecstatic.
But the man on the screen’s gaze was not friendly. His brow furrowed slightly, and his voice was sterner than before. "Aurora, what are you doing?"
"Getting a tattoo." Dawn Miles raised her arm to show him. "Do you like it?"
Blondie’s heart leaped into his throat. ’This guy isn’t one of her parents, is he?’
But after looking for a moment, the man on the other side suddenly laughed. "It’s very nice. Just don’t get it wet for a few days."
Dawn Miles nodded and added, "I’m dyeing my hair this afternoon."
The man seemed taken aback for a second. "What color are you thinking?"
"His color?"
"No."
"Purple?"
"It wouldn’t suit you."
"What about green?"
"..."
Blondie clearly saw the man’s expression darken. He immediately grabbed another color chart from the side, flipped to a page, and showed it to him. "The colors are all here..."
The man on the screen pointed to a violet-red. "This one would suit her."
Blondie nodded repeatedly, then put away the chart and tactfully left the room, giving the two of them some space.
On the other end, Alvin Morgan raised his hand, tracing the exquisite face on his screen, and asked in a low voice, "Have you missed me?"
Dawn Miles, on the other side, seemed to freeze for a moment but still gave a slight nod.
Alvin Morgan knew she hadn’t fully remembered him yet, and a pang of sorrow hit his chest as he replied, "I’ve missed you a lot."
The tips of Dawn Miles’s ears seemed to turn a little red. After a moment, she said awkwardly, "I’ll come back to see you all when I’m done here."
Their eyes met. Even through the screen, Dawn Miles could feel the warmth in the man’s gaze.
She unnaturally changed the subject. "Morgan, did you see the video I had Ditto send you?"
"I saw it."
"It’s a set of Body Refining Techniques from Ancient Times. Practicing it in the positive order can temper your muscles and bones and strengthen your body. Practicing it in reverse order can turn you into a High Rank Martial Cultivator."
Alvin Morgan froze, his pupils constricting slightly.
The girl on the screen continued, "I can only manage to perform the Reverse Order Boxing Technique three times right now."
"Are there any side effects?"
"It’s extremely tiring. Anyone whose physical conditioning hasn’t reached the Great Martial King Realm probably can’t practice this technique..."
After a long moment of contemplation, Alvin Morgan said, "Do you have any plans for this technique?"
"I’m going to teach the Positive Order Boxing Technique on a small scale..."
"Do you need my help?"
Alvin Morgan’s voice was soft, as if he were afraid she would refuse.
This time, Aurora Sinclair’s departure was a secret operation, and she didn’t want anyone else interfering.
That was why he had let her take Ditto. This way, not even he could easily contact her or find her location.
Ditto’s system was connected to the master network, and even if he went to the trouble of hacking it, Ditto had a self-destruct function to protect its owner.
In other words, he had blocked all his own paths to her, letting her go completely.
Dawn Miles replied calmly, "Morgan, before I return, I need you to seriously practice the Positive Order Boxing Technique and keep a detailed record of your process and insights." 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
Alvin Morgan looked at the girl’s solemn expression and his hand tightened on the mouse.

「Two days later.」
Kyle Kane and a few of his guys took Dawn Miles’s car to a branch of the Martial Alliance.
They arrived relatively early but were still stunned by the line at the entrance.
This time, because of the Chameleon incident, the International Martial Alliance had ordered all national branches to conduct internal audits. As a result, every branch of the Martial Alliance was not only vetting its registered Martial Artists, but unaffiliated ones weren’t being spared either.
All unaffiliated Martial Artists who had reached the Martial Artist Level were required to register their personal information with the Martial Alliance.
This also meant that for people who wanted to open a martial arts school or boxing gym, the certification process had changed from being available anytime to only once a month.
"Boss, there are way too many people here."
"You guys get in line. I’ll go up front and ask." Kyle Kane walked toward the main gate of the Martial Alliance.
Blondie led the others to the back of the line, immediately drawing strange looks from the people ahead of them. Some even turned their children’s faces away, as if Blondie and his group were unsavory characters.
Although Blondie was usually carefree, he was particularly sensitive to this kind of thing. He feigned indifference and said, "Dawn, why don’t you stand in front of me? Don’t want the kids to cry when they see me."
After they had been in line for about ten minutes, they suddenly heard a commotion up ahead.
"A little hoodlum like you dares to open a martial arts school? Aren’t you just going to lead your students astray?"
When Blondie and the others heard this, their expressions changed instantly, and they ran toward the sound.
They saw the owner of the boxing gym where they had caused a scene a few days ago, his arm in a sling, loudly mocking Kyle Kane at the entrance.
"Officer Lockwood, his men came to my boxing gym to fight without paying, and they brought people to injure my arm. This man has character issues. You absolutely cannot let him get certified."
"That’s f***ing bullshit! Every time I went, you ripped me off. And now you’re here playing the victim..." Blondie was the first to lose his temper, cursing out loud.
The boxing gym owner continued, "You hear that? With that kind of attitude, he wants to open a martial arts school?"
"You..." Blondie raised his fist, ready to hit him, but Kyle Kane grabbed him and held him back.
Wyatt Lockwood was traditional at heart and disliked young people dyeing their hair all sorts of colors. He frowned and shouted, "Any more noise and you’re out—"
Hearing this, the boxing gym owner looked even more smug.
’They really are here for certification. It was worth getting up so early for this.’
’Damn it, those little bastards actually dared to call the Martial Affairs Bureau to investigate my gym.’
’Luckily, my staff was quick and hid everything away again beforehand. But even so, I was still hit with a huge fine and ordered to shut down for a week of rectification.’
’I absolutely have to get revenge for this.’
Wyatt Lockwood didn’t even glance at the documents on the table, simply pushing them forward. "You are not qualified."
"On what grounds? Our paperwork is all in order. Why can’t we get certified?" Blondie flared up again.
"To open a martial arts school, you need more than just strength. You also need martial virtue and character," Wyatt Lockwood said flatly.
"And how do we lack martial virtue and character?"
"Guards, throw them out—"
Several martial masters slowly approached from the side.
Kyle Kane’s face paled slightly. He clenched his fists and said loudly, "We’re leaving."
"Boss—"
Blondie was unwilling to let it go, but Kyle Kane’s face was ashen. He grabbed Blondie and strode toward the door.
Just then, a cool voice suddenly rang out, "For someone from the Lockwood Family to judge based on a one-sided account is rather improper."
Blondie turned to look and saw Dawn Miles approaching slowly, her hands in her pockets.
There was no fluctuation of Power from her, yet everyone around, including the martial masters and Wyatt Lockwood himself, felt their hearts tighten.
At that moment, the boxing gym owner’s face turned pale. He hadn’t expected the person who had beaten up his employee to be here—and a girl, at that.
His eyes darted around, and he immediately pointed at Dawn Miles, falsely accusing her. "Officer Lockwood, she’s with them! Her character and conduct are questionable..."
But before he could finish his sentence, his body was sent flying backward, slamming hard against the wall.
No one saw who made the move.
Wyatt Lockwood stared at the red-haired girl before him as if facing a formidable enemy.
He thought he had seen a flash of a red shadow.
"Ditto, play the recording..."
