Omega Summoner
Chapter 2895: Second Phase: Nidhogg II
The Elemental Rupture Breath of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg destroyed everything in its path towards Creepysoo and Hexy’s location. The powerful breath attack even disintegrated players in a blink when they were unable to properly defend themselves. Creepysoo tried to have the Skeleton Giant tank the hit for them but it was not as fast as the breath attack.
Creepysoo knew that he might die in this time which is why he commanded the skeleton giant to wreak havoc on the Primordial Beast Nidhogg even if he dies. He already created a command chain that the skeleton giant will do even in his death. He might maintain the summoning of the skeleton giant but it will not instantly vanish upon his death.
The skeleton giant is a summoned entity that can still linger as long as the miasma used to summon it is still in its body. It will only dissipate if all of its health vanished or all of the miasma has been used up. Creepysoo stopped channeling more miasma towards the skeleton giant and immediately created a wall of bones in front of him while standing in front of the black rose that Hexy is residing in.
"I can save her at th very least." Creepysoo thought as he created more wall of bones.
The Elemental Rupture Breath is a few meters away from engulfing the wall of bones that Creepysoo created when a player that had wings on his hands suddenly shifted to another form. Kabrakan slammed towards the ground and immediately changed his form to suit the land beneath his feet. The two large wings morphed to two towering shields as he stood before the wall of bones created by Creepysoo.
"MOUNTAIN GOLIATH!" Kabrakan shouted as his entire body is covered with hard and precious rocks as his imposing figure created a silhouette of a rock giant with two shields.
The Primordial Beast Nidhogg’s Elemental Rupture Breath hit Kabrakan without a moment’s notice and his entire body screamed from the pain despite having his shield take the initial hit. Fortunately for Kabrakan, his shields are not something that breaks easily now as it has already gained the tier of Semi-Transcendent. In fact, Kabrakan participated in this battle thinking that the Primordial Beast Nidhogg might be able to trigger the breaking of his shield to finally transform it to a true Transcendent tier weapon.
The two shields that Kabrakan used actually blocked the Elemental Rupture Breath of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg. The only problem is that the one holding them got inflicted with so much damage that he is actually on the verge of collapse. Still, Kabrakan managed to hold on despite the heavy injuries because Anastacia suddenly healed him back to full after the initial hit of the breath attack.
Kabrakan already triggered his self-healing skill that reverts his health back to full but it was not enough to fully withstand the power of the Elemental Rupture Breath. If not for Anastacia, Kabrakan would have died and turned to dust while leaving his shield there to protect Creepysoo and Hexy. Anastacia healed Kabrakan once again as tanking the hit from the Primordial Beast Nidhogg also depleted his stamina.
The Primordial Beast Nidhogg is actually shocked that a single individual managed to block its breath attack but Kabrakan was not able to completely block it. The range of the Elemental Rupture Breath is large and Kabrakan only managed to block the area where Creepysoo and Hexy are. The area around him is devastated and sundered to pitch black that even the element rich soil of Neo Alfheim became tainted and destroyed completely.
As soon as Creepysoo noticed that he will not die because of Kabrakan, he immediately regained control of the Skeleton Giant. The Skeleton Giant no longer held back under the control of Creepysoo as two of its bony fists glowed in miasmic flames. The two fists then slammed towards the Primordial Beast Nidhogg that is currently in a position where it cannot evade reflexively.
The bony fists of the skeleton giant imparted miasma flames onto the body of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg which generated another random curse on its body. The only problem is that the scales on the Primordial Beast Nidhogg’s body is incredibly sturdy and rough which made the Skeleton Giant gain more damage as a backlash from its reckless attack.
Even if the Skeleton Giant got damaged more, it was able to partially stun the Primordial Beast Nidhogg in place. This made it easy for the strike team that Siegfried composed of to once again attack the Primordial Beast Nidhogg. With the help of Faust’ elemental airship, all of the strike team players of the guild alliance jumped from the skies and slammed their bodies onto the back of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg.
Just the very back of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg is like having small hills as it was that huge. Some strike team players were also unlucky and landed on the spikes that emitted more condensed elemental energy which killed them instantly. Still, there were more players that lived than died and their objective remained the same.
"EVERYONE! Start hacking at the Primordial Beast Nidhogg!" Seigfried shouted as he slammed his axe towards the skin of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg.
All of the players also started using their attacks and skills that deal physical damage to the Primordial Beast Nidhogg. They know that they cannot fight the Primordial Beast Nidhogg using conventional means as the titanic size of their opponent is already nonconventional. Instead, they will become the most annoying ticks on the body of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg and chip at its health even if they die while doing so.
The Primordial Beast Nidhogg recovered from the momentary stun that the skeleton giant did to it. The Primordial Beast Nidhogg did not even notice the small players latched onto its back as it once again swung its tail towards the skeleton giant. The tail swept through a large area which also decimated some of the players just trying to deal damage safely from a distance.
The tail of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg slammed across the skeleton giant. Creepysoo controlled the skeleton giant and it defended itself like what a human would do if a large blunt force is about to hit it from the side. The skeleton giant curled up but it was tossed aside by the whiplash of the tail swipe of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg.
One would think that the Primordial Beast Nidhogg will need to process what it needs to do after but it actually gathered energy once more. It once again went on all fours as it blasted the direction of Creepysoo and Hexy once again. The scales on the back of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg glowed in the eerie pale blue light once more and blasted the same energy towards the controller of the skeleton giant.
"Not again!" Creepysoo stated but he is more prepared compared to earlier as he has already activated his damage nullifying skill and made sure that Hexy is also a secondary beneficiary of it.
Kabrakan stood in front of Creepysoo and Hexy once again but even he is not confident that he can tank another hit like that. Just as Kabrakan had already accepted his fate, two large dragon beings of different species appeared and released their breath attacks to counter the Primordial Beast Nidhogg. Kanlaon and Wisteria are now summoned in their full forms which might be smaller than the Primordial Beast Nidhogg but still big enough that they might be able to counter the breath attack if both of them combined their strength.
The breath attacks of Kanlaon and Wisteria merged together to counter the Elemental Rupture Breath of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg. The initial clash of the two attacks was good as it looked like a stalemate but that only lasted briefly before the Primordial Beast Nidhogg released more energy than before. The Elemental Rupture Breath of the enemy pushed through and overpowered the combined might of Kanlaon and Wisteria.
When Kanlaon and Wisteria’s combined attack failed, it was now time for Kabrakan to step up. Fortunately for him, all of the support players poured their buffs on him to make him as sturdy as can be. Still, Kabrakan knows that he might die even if the breath attack is weakened but he stood bravely and protected their current best shot at defeating the Primordial Beast Nidhogg.
Kabrakan tanked the weakened breath attack once again but his body is getting pushed back. He is not getting killed as the damage is mitigating properly but he cannot do this for long. Kabrakan’s foot suddenly lost balance at the most crucial moment as he got pushed backwards too quickly but he noticed prismatic stones manifesting around him. Adrian appeared behind him and corrected his posture.
"Sorry, I was helping Levin Cloud find the rat hiding for a moment. Also, it seems that you bought enough time because that guy is also serious." Adrian stated as he is now fully committed against the Primordial Beast Nidhogg. He also glanced towards Hou Yiwei that activated a powerful skill.
