Selene Adler frowned. "Then how am I supposed to get close to him?"

She couldn’t help but feel a little resentful toward Chloe Reed.

Selene Adler flew into a rage out of humiliation. "Chloe Reed, what do you mean by that?!"

"I don’t mean anything." Chloe Reed’s expression was indifferent. "I want a divorce, and you want to seduce Walker Grant. We’re supposed to be partners, not people who blame each other and shirk responsibility at the first sign of failure. If you expect me to deliver Walker Grant to your bed, then I’m sorry, but if you won’t even try to feed yourself, can you really expect someone to spoon-feed you?"

After she finished speaking, she got up and walked away.

"You!"

Selene Adler’s face turned ashen with anger.

"Sister, you seem surprised to see me." Sunny Reed walked right up to her, a gentle smile on her face.

Chloe Reed looked at her coldly. "Why haven’t you resigned?"

But Sunny Reed just blinked and said, "Because Walker asked me to stay, of course. Didn’t Walker tell you, sister?"

"Ha!"

Chloe Reed let out a cold laugh. She took a step forward, her clear eyes turning icy.

Sunny Reed felt a strange sense of unease. She took a step back, a flicker of wariness in her eyes. "Sister, this is the office. What are you going to do?"

But Chloe Reed just leaned in closer and asked with utmost sincerity, "When exactly are you going to get your hands on Walker Grant? And make him fall head over heels for you?"
