Chimera’s appearance had completely changed.

Its original head had now been replaced by the furious-looking head of a giant bird. Massive wings made of ice extended from its back, while countless crystalline ice shards protruded from all across its body.

A freezing aura continuously radiated from the creature, causing the surrounding ground to freeze solid. The Chimera now looked even more terrifying and menacing than before.

The Chimera immediately spread its massive icy wings. Each flap released violent gusts of freezing wind across the hall. As the creature slowly began floating upward, Nyx suddenly grabbed one of its legs tightly and prevented it from escaping.

"You... will not... go away!" Nyx roared.

The Chimera slowly turned its head toward Nyx. Then suddenly, it flew directly toward him and grabbed Nyx by the long neck before violently slamming him into the ground.

The impact shook the entire boss hall violently. Massive cracks rapidly spread across the floor.

"Nyx! Stand up!" Oliver shouted worriedly as Nyx remained pinned on the ground.

However, the Chimera was not finished yet. It immediately flew upward before smashing both of its feet down onto Nyx once more.

BOOOOM!!

Nyx’s gigantic body was driven deeper into the floor as enormous cracks spread in every direction. As a result, the cracks widened even further and the ground beneath them completely collapsed.

Oliver and Aria immediately lost their footing as the ground beneath them collapsed.

Both of them began falling downward. Oliver quickly grabbed Aria, who looked completely shaken and devoid of motivation. While floating in air, he desperately maneuvered through the raining debris and massive chunks of stone crashing around them.

At the same time, he watched Nyx and the Chimera plummeting deeper into the darkness below.

"NYX!!" Oliver shouted.

Oliver clenched his teeth. He quickly flown above the hole and landed on a relatively stable ledge while carrying Aria. He gently placed her down against a large stone. Meanwhile, Ingram immediately rushed over toward them.

"Are you okay? Talk to me," Oliver asked worriedly.

"My Frostrix...it’s gone." Aria muttered blankly.

"No. We still don’t know that yet. Please stay here. I’ll bring Frostrix back."

Then he turned toward Ingram.

"Ingram, look after her!"

Ingram immediately nodded.

Oliver then walked toward the edge of the massive hole before turned toward Aria and letting himself fall backward into the darkness below.

"Be careful, Oliver!" Aria suddenly shouted.

However, by then, Oliver was already far beneath them.

Several hundred meters beneath the ground, deep within the darkness below the dungeon, Nyx lay on his back. Fortunately, his incredibly durable carapace had cushioned most of the impact from the fall.

As Nyx slowly tried to stand up, a fist suddenly emerged from the darkness and smashed directly into his face, causing him to stumble backward.
