Overlord Tamer:I Only Tame Bosses
Chapter 74 Secret Pack
Oliver fell onto his knees while breathing heavily. Sweat covered his entire face, while the clothes on his back clung tightly to his body and completely drenched. Yet despite his exhaustion, a satisfied smile slowly appeared on his face as he clenched his fist tightly.
"I did it. All those five years of training and waiting... it wasn’t for nothing." Oliver muttered weakly.
As he remained kneeling there while enjoying the moment of victory, suddenly, a notification sound heard from the system.

"Secret Pack? What is this?" Oliver asked while staring at the newly unlocked pack inside the system. The pack had a black and purple design, covered with illustrations of numerous terrifying monsters merging together. It emitted a mysterious aura unlike the normal packs sold in the Emporium.

[Secret Packs are special packs that exist outside the standard Emporium collection. They are usually obtained after the user achieves extraordinary accomplishments in the real world or defeats powerful adversaries. The number of Secret Packs is virtually limitless. Each Secret Pack possesses unique cards capable of greatly increasing the user’s overall power.]
"Is it really that amazing? Honestly, just by staring at it, I can already feel some kind of power coming from it."
However, his expression quickly turned bitter.
"But there’s one huge problem. The price is insanely expensive! Fifty thousand Tamer Coins?! At this rate, I’ll probably need to farm coins for months just to pull one pack!"
[You receive one free pull the first time a Secret Pack is unlocked. Use that opportunity wisely to understand the potential of the pack.]
"Of course I’m using it! Anything free is always good!" Oliver laughed.
However, just as he was about to open the pack, loud tremor suddenly heard from deeper within the ruins. Moments later, a gigantic blue bird burst out from the debris before flying upward toward the upper floor.
"It’s Frostrix! It’s still alive!" Oliver shouted in surprise. Then suddenly Oliver’s eyes widened.
"But wait, if Frostrix is still alive, then..."
Without hesitation, he immediately rushed toward the pile of rubble where Frostrix had emerged. He frantically pushed aside rocks and broken debris one after another.
Then suddenly, he saw a hand buried beneath the stones.
Oliver quickly pushed away the remaining stones and finally revealed Waine lying unconscious beneath the rubble. Bruises and wounds covered his body, and his condition looked terrible.
Oliver immediately knelt down beside him and checked his breathing and pulse for any signs of life.
After a few tense seconds, a smile slowly appeared on Oliver’s face.
"He’s still alive...unfortunately." Oliver let out a relieved breath before adding with a weak grin. He then glanced toward the side and noticed several weakened monsters lying nearby.
Two of them belonged to Waine and Ingram, while the third was an unfamiliar monster. Moments later, all three monsters slowly dissolved into particles of light. One of the stream of light drifted directly toward Waine’s body before merging into him.
"It seems the monsters returned to their owners. I need to bring him outside quickly for treatment."
Oliver carried Waine onto his back before walking toward the gigantic hole above them. Suddenly, a voice echoed from above.
"Oliver! Are you there?! If you can hear me, answer me!" Ingram shouted worriedly.
"I’m here! Bring me up!" Oliver shouted back.
A few seconds later, Frostrix descended from above with Aria riding on top of it. The moment she landed, Aria immediately jumped down and ran straight toward Oliver before tightly hugging him.
"Thank god you’re alright!"
"E-Err... yeah, me too," Oliver replied awkwardly. He was completely stunned by the sudden situation. A beautiful girl was currently hugging him tightly. He could even feel the soft pressure pressing against his chest.
If he was not carrying Waine on his back right now, he probably would have hugged her back instinctively. There was absolutely no way he would reject this situation!
However, Aria quickly stepped backward afterward, her face turning bright red.
"S-Sorry. I-I was just too relieved. Please forgive me. And... thank you for saving Frostrix." she said while avoiding eye contact.
"I-It’s fine. I just did what I could." Oliver replied. He then adjusted Waine on his back.
"Can you help me carry this guy? He’s too heavy."
"He’s still alive?!" Aria asked in shock.
"Yeah. Somehow he survived. Let’s bring him to the medics first."
The two of them quickly returned to the upper floor before picking up Ingram and flying out from the dungeon aboard Frostrix.
"So the masked man escaped?" Oliver asked after hearing Ingram explain how the swarm of cicadas had fled from the dungeon earlier.
"Don’t worry. I’ll make sure he gets captured." Aria replied coldly.
As they continued flying through the damaged dungeon chambers, the aftermath of the earlier explosion had revealed something unexpected. Behind several collapsed walls, countless hidden cages were now exposed.
Inside them were numerous imprisoned monsters. The moment the monsters saw Oliver and the others, loud roars and cries immediately echoed throughout the dungeon halls.
"So this is where they hid all the stolen monsters. Inside the wall of hidden dungeon! No wonder nobody ever discovered their operation. That’s actually a pretty clever trick." Ingram exclaimed in shock.
Among the hidden chambers, they also discovered piles of documents, transaction records, and movement logs related to the illegal monster trade. Aria quickly gathered several important files for future investigation.
The moment they exited the dungeon, soldiers immediately rushed toward them.
Oliver, Ingram, and Waine were quickly attended by medics, while Aria refused any treatment and immediately called for an emergency meeting.
Not long afterward, the soldiers rapidly mobilized throughout the city and headed toward the noble houses suspected of being involved in the illegal monster trade.
