After finishing their meals, Oliver and Aria continued chatting for nearly two more hours. Eventually, Aria called for the bill.

"It is only fifty-five gold coins, Lady Aria." the waiter said politely.

’ONLY?!’ Oliver screamed inwardly. That amount was enough for an ordinary commoner family to live comfortably for quite some time.

Meanwhile, Aria calmly pulled out a black card from her purse and handed it to the waiter.

’Wait, is that a credit card? Don’t tell me this world actually has something like that too?’ Oliver thought in surprise.

The waiter then brought out a small magical device. A tiny magic array immediately appeared above it before scanning the black card. A few moments later, the waiter respectfully returned the card to Aria.

’Right, of course they use magic for it.’ Oliver thought.

Soon afterward, the two of them left the restaurant and slowly walked back toward the inn together. After 15 minutes, they finally arrived.

"Alright, Oliver. Hope to see you again later." Since Aria stayed in the special noble section of the inn while Oliver stayed in the ordinary guest area, they naturally had to separate there.

"Sure. Please send my regards to your brother."

"I will. He’ll definitely be happy to hear about you." Aria smiled warmly. She then waved lightly toward him before walking away.

Oliver remained standing there for a moment before letting out a long exhale. Truthfully, he had wanted to ask about her relationship with Vincent.

However, he stopped himself. Talking too much about someone else’s relationship felt inappropriate.

’She’ll probably think I’m being nosy.’ Oliver thought inwardly.

Eventually, he slowly returned to his room. Once inside, he summoned Husk before taking out the packed Hazelnut Sirloin. Husk immediately devoured the meat happily while wagging his tail in satisfaction.

"You should always feed me food like this. It finally meets the standards of an ancient guardian like me." Husk said proudly while licking the remaining sauce from his mouth.

"Hah! Easy for you to say. Do you really think I’m the son of some noble family? I am just a town boy." Oliver replied.

"Then become one. The noble." Husk answered casually.

Oliver suddenly fell silent. He actually thought seriously about Husk’s words for a moment. Within the Kingdom of Cyden, noble titles could only be granted directly by the king himself.

Usually, such titles were awarded to individuals who achieved great merit or provided exceptional service to the kingdom. Most nobles earned their status through contributions in war, large-scale battles, or major achievements.

’Hmm...should I aim for something like that?’ Oliver wondered. However, after thinking about it for a while, he eventually shook his head. For a teenager like him to obtain a noble title was practically unheard of. Right now, his priority should simply be becoming stronger.

’Maybe... one day, I’ll think about it again.’ Oliver thought. Soon after, he rested his head against the pillow.

Later that night, the clock hanging on the wall already pointed at 2 AM. Yet Oliver’s eyes remained completely wide open.

"I can’t sleep!" Oliver suddenly sat upright in frustration. Because he had already slept throughout most of the day earlier, his body now completely refused to sleep again.

He glanced toward the end of the bed. Husk was currently sleeping soundly there. The bed was large enough to comfortably fit both Oliver and Husk’s current dog-sized form.

"Sigh... what should I even do this late at night?" Oliver rubbed his messy hair before suddenly widening his eyes.

"Oh right! I completely forgot about the Secret Pack. I should open it now."

As usual, almost out of pure habit at this point, Oliver first checked the [Limited Offer] section. After confirming that there was still nothing he could currently afford, he moved toward the newly added category, [Secret Pack]

At the moment, only a single pack existed there, [Supreme Fusion]. Oliver then took another look at the pack description.

[Be prepared to wield the power that can change the world forever!!]

"It actually has a pretty catchy description." Oliver muttered. Without hesitation, Oliver selected it. Immediately, the pack materialized within his hand.

Oliver immediately unsealed the pack. From it, a black-colored card emerged.

"Black card?!" Oliver’s eyes widened in disbelief. Then, the moment he looked at the card details, his mouth slowly opened wide.

"So that means I was lucky? T-This...is my life is really turning around this much?!" Oliver’s eyes widened dramatically.

[Secret Rare cards are not considered extremely rare within Secret Packs. In fact, their appearance rate is roughly equivalent to Super Rare-rarity cards found in normal packs.]

"Tch! You really didn’t need to ruin the moment for me. At least let me enjoy for a few seconds. But still, if it’s basically equivalent to a Super Rare pull, then this is still amazing." Oliver said while admiring the black card again.
