Soon, the situation finally calmed down. Oliver sat quietly on his chair while nervously watching his parents examine Floralia carefully.

’Why does this feel like I just brought a girlfriend home?’ Oliver thought awkwardly.

Irmine placed one hand beneath her chin while folding the other across her chest as she observed Floralia from head to toe.

Floralia’s size had now reduced from three meters to around two meters tall. Even so, she was still considered extremely tall for a normal woman.

However, the most eye-catching part about her was undoubtedly her breasts. It were large and only partially covered by her vine-made attire.

Irmine unconsciously frowned before glancing down at her own chest. For some reason, she suddenly felt as though her status as a woman was being threatened.

Meanwhile, Arnulf’s eyes were completely locked onto Floralia’s chest and hips. His cheeks had even turned slightly red, though he tried his best to hide it. Unfortunately for him, Irmine immediately noticed.

"Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!" Arnulf cried out after Irmine suddenly pinched and twisted the skin on his abdomen.

"What was that for?!" he asked.

"Where exactly were you looking just now, huh?" Irmine narrowed her eyes dangerously.

Arnulf immediately looked away awkwardly. Irmine then let out a tired sigh before turning toward Floralia.

"Your outfit is far too revealing. Come with me for a moment." She then grabbed Floralia’s hand before bringing her upstairs toward the upper floor.

Oliver and Arnulf silently looked at each other afterward. After a few minutes, both of them finally came back downstairs.

The moment Floralia appeared, Oliver was completely mesmerized. Floralia was now wearing a beautiful attire along with a cape and fur hoodie attached behind it.

<Floralia>

The outfit fit her body surprisingly well. Even Floralia herself looked amazed as she observed her own appearance curiously.

"Honey, isn’t that your old hunter attire?" Arnulf asked in surprise.

"Yes. But since I’m already retired, it’s better to give it to her. Luckily, it fits her perfectly. And I added the cape so she can cover her ears." Irmine explained proudly.

"Mom... you actually wore this outfit while hunting?!" Oliver asked in shock. At first, he had assumed the attire was meant for dinners or formal occasions. He never expected his mother to wear something like this during her hunting days.

"Yes. Is there a problem with that?" A dangerous smile slowly appeared on her face.

"N-no! There is no problem." Oliver replied.

"Now that Floralia is here, let’s all eat together!" Irmine said warmly.

Just like that, the three members of the family welcomed a new member into their home. To them, Husk, Nyx, and Queen were already considered part of the family. Even the monsters themselves had grown very comfortable around them.

Surprisingly, Floralia seemed to greatly enjoy the food on the table. She even asked for several more servings while continuously praising the dishes. Oliver glanced toward her as she happily ate with sparkling eyes. Naturally, her mother looked extremely pleased hearing someone compliment her cooking so much.

"Son, from now on, you need to be very careful." Arnulf suddenly said seriously.

"Hm? Why are you saying that all of a sudden, father?" Oliver asked curiously.

Arnulf let out a slow sigh.

"Ever since you became a dungeon hunter in this town, people have constantly been asking me about your monsters. The most common questions are always the same."

"Where did you get them?"

"Why can they talk?"

"And why are they so strong?"

"So far, I’ve managed to lie to them by saying your monsters are special existences with only one of their kind. Even then, people still looked suspicious."

Arnulf then glanced toward Floralia.

"But now you’ve added another monster... and this time it’s a humanoid monster. I don’t know how you obtained her, and I won’t ask for now. But sooner or later, people will definitely start becoming suspicious."

"You do understand, right? Humanoid monsters are usually only possessed by Marquises, Dukes, Archdukes, and families above that level. Most of those humanoid monsters are considered legendary existences and are inherited as treasured family heirlooms."

"Every single one of them possesses power far beyond the normal ranking system we commonly use."

Arnulf’s expression gradually became heavier.

"If one of those noble families discovers that our small and insignificant family possesses a humanoid monster like Floralia...I honestly don’t even want to imagine what could happen."

"In the worst-case scenario, they might try to take Floralia away from you." He then looked directly into Oliver’s eyes.

Oliver silently looked into his father’s eyes before lowering his gaze toward the plate of food before him. Suddenly, a feeling of rage slowly emerged from deep within him.

He had already experienced loss before. He lost Tamera, the girl he considered like an older sister. He also lost Oculbane and Ragthorax.

Only he himself truly understood how frustrated and powerless he had felt back then. But this time, he would never allow it again.

Oliver’s eyes sharpened dangerously as he stared at the fork in his hand. Anyone who dared to take something precious away from him again...would die mercilessly.

Even Arnulf and Irmine clearly understood that look in Oliver’s eyes.

"Hmmm... this atmosphere is too gloomy. I don’t like it." Floralia suddenly said while puffing her cheeks slightly.

"I actually came up with an idea after listening to your conversation."

"What kind of idea?" Irmine asked curiously.

"You said earlier that people would become suspicious if they discovered I’m Oliver’s monster, right?" Floralia then smiled mischievously.

"Then how about this? What if I become a hunter instead, and simply work together with Oliver?" she grinned.

Irmine and Arnulf’s eyes immediately widened in realization.

"That’s actually a great idea! Because you’re humanoid, nobody would suspect you’re a monster. That’s honestly a brilliant idea, Floralia." Arnulf said excitedly while smiling widely.

"But you must always make sure to keep your ears covered. That’s the obvious difference between you and normal humans." Irmine added seriously.

"Hohoho! I really am a genius, aren’t I?" Floralia laughed proudly while covering her mouth elegantly with one hand.

"But still...we need confirmation from my master first." Her eyes slowly shifted toward Oliver while smiling teasingly.

Meanwhile, Oliver had been quietly looking downward in thought. A few moments later, he slowly raised his head and a smirk appearing on his face.

"Of course we’ll do that!"

And just like that, a new hunter was about to appear in town.

One who would someday shake the entire duchy upside down.
