"Should I just not stand up!?" Rexx thought as she felt another wave of pleasure pass through her body. But Hans’ glare suddenly increased in intensity, and Rexx was forced to realize that Han was not playing around! If she wasted any more time, Han was really going to kill her! How was she going to enjoy the pain if he was dead?

Rexx quickly stood up and patted herself down as she cleared her throat calmly and spoke.

"If you’re ready, then please come with me. You’ll have to meet with the guardian alone since that was a part of his demands."

"Does your guardian think he is in any position to make demands of me? I only agreed to meet him because I felt like it. I can break this agreement at any point if you piss me off."

Han allowed some of his bloodlust to leak out as he said this, and Rexx just raised her hands and took a large step back as she pleaded with Han to calm down! "Don’t kill the messenger just because you don’t like the message!"

"I’ll tell him what you said! Just calm down!" Rexx said to Han, and Han sighed silently and eyed Rexx cautiously as she called on one of her bats to relay the message that Han gave her. It didn’t take two minutes before the bat returned and told Rexx that the guardian agreed for Han to come with any person he wanted.

Rexx relayed this to Han, and Han narrowed his eyes at her, and a magic circle opened in front of him with lightning crackling around it. He was going to kill this idiot and then kill that stupid guardian who thinks he can give me orders. They attacked me and just killed Gretha and Orochimaru, and they think they can still make demands?

"Wait! Just wait! He says you can bring anyone you want! Just take them with you for fuck’s sake, I don’t care anymore!"

Rexx threw her hands up exasperatedly! Han could do whatever he wanted! He was so damn trigger-happy, and she knew he would kill her just for that message! He should just do whatever he wanted! When she gets to the guardian, they can handle the situation themselves!

Han ignored the foolish rant from Rexx as he finally closed his portal once she said he was allowed to do whatever he wanted. Han called on all his shadow hunters, and the large gathering of thousands of shadows fell into the ground and went back into Han’s space as he floated to them and went towards Orochimaru. Han patted Orochimaru on the head calmly.

"You’ve done well. Get some rest in the other world. I’ll call on you again when I need you."

Orochimaru used its nose to rub against Han’s palm before the basilisk slithered back into Han’s world. Han made sure that he was safe before he directed Gretha to also go into the other world. Gretha was shocked that Han even cared enough to think about her, but Han just told her to shut up as he opened a portal and told her to go on. Gretha smiled and walked through, and Han started to follow Rexx as they made their way to the last guardian of the temple.

It took them about thirty minutes of flying before they got to a large gate at the end of the floor. The gate was more than a hundred meters high and as wide as a car! It was made from pure gold with many carvings of wings and swords on it. It looked very exquisite, and Han couldn’t help but be a little impressed by it!

Rexx told Han that the guardian was just beyond this wall, and Han turned to look at her curiously as she started lifting into the air to take off.

"Where do you think you’re going?"

Han grabbed Rexx by the foot as he said this, and Rexx yelled as she felt him drag her back to the ground. Han held her foot, and Rexx held her gown down because Han could see under it! What was this brute doing!? He was trying to rape her!

Han could see a large blush rising on Rexx’s face, and he deadpanned as he knew exactly what she was thinking. She should be a little more sensible with her accusations. He was more likely to kill her than to fuck her.

"You’re going in there with me. If it’s a trap, then we’re both going to fall into it. Let’s go."

"But the guardian said I shouldn’t come with you!"

"All the more reason why you’re coming with me. Open the fucking gate and let’s go."

Han was not giving Rexx any chance to escape, and she just sighed in defeat as she pressed her hand against the gate, and it began to open. Rexx slowly walked through the portal, and Han looked around him before he also entered the gate, and it closed behind him.

"You’re a very hard man to get through to," a loud voice boomed across a dark area as Han walked through the gate and came to the other side. There was nothing to be seen in front of Han because the entire area was completely dark. Han immediately activated [Almighty Overseer] and tried to see what was beyond the darkness, but there was nothing to be seen for miles in every direction! It wasn’t even that the space was empty; it was more like there was no space at all. Han would have been able to see through the darkness if it was only dark. But there was nothing to see at all. Almost like only the space where Han and Rexx were standing existed and everywhere else did not exist.

"I thought I told you to send him here alone, Rexx. What are you doing in here with him?" Rexx shrugged and flipped her hair backward.

"He was too scared and told me to come with him! You know how these mortals are - Ah!"

Smack!!

Han suddenly smacked Rexx on the back of her head, and she immediately went down to her knees and held her head in pain as she felt a deep throbbing pain passing through her skull! This brute didn’t know how to treat women at all! That fucking hurts!!

Rexx had a small blush on her face as the pain suddenly started to bring her pleasure, and she had to hide her face to make sure no one could see her reaction as she enjoyed the sensation!

Han noticed that Rexx was starting to breathe heavily, and he looked down at her with a cautious gaze as he wondered what the heck was happening to her. He just ignored her after a few seconds and turned back to the darkness and spoke to the mysterious person in it.

"Can you come out here and show yourself? I’m not a fan of talking to shadows."

"I would if I could, Han Luo. But you see, this space is me. There is no difference between the floor you stand on and the person you speak to. If you wish to say anything, then say it. I will respond. But that is not what you came here for. You came so I might measure your worth, and for that, we need privacy."

Phwoom!!

Han blinked in surprise as Rexx suddenly vanished from the area, and he was left standing in the middle of the wide empty space all alone. Han was not worried because he could not feel any ill intent coming from the space around him. He already had many skills on the tip of his tongue, and he knew he could fight off this space if he wanted to get out.

Han heard some footsteps echoing from in front of him, and before long, a tall man wearing a long white robe appeared in front of Han and smiled at him.

"Hello, my name is Fall. The last of the guardians. It’s a pleasure to finally meet the most famous mortal to have ever lived, Han Luo. I don’t think there is a single celestial alive that does not frown at the mention of your name."

Han scoffed.

"What is this supposed to be? Some sort of intervention?"

"Nothing of sorts. I am but a guardian protecting the entrance to the plane beyond this one. I have seen that you possess all the skills and power necessary to become a celestial, but I am here to see if you possess the mindset that celestials need to have. Are you mentally fit to be one of us?"

The man waved his hand, and the space changed and brightened until Han was standing in the sky overlooking a large city below him. Han used his eye skill to take a closer look at the city, and he realized that he did not recognize the city. It was just a regular city with people running around. Was this going to be like that one test where they asked Han to destroy an entire world? That was stupid.

"These people below you are all mortal. And unlike you, they will never know what it means to gain true power. They will never reach where you stand. What do you feel for them?"

"Nothing. They aren’t important."

The man nodded his head.

"That is the usual reaction for people with power. Those without power are of no importance to us. They are simply footstools for us. But as a celestial, that will change. You will have responsibility, and you will have to look after the mortals. You could either grant them your favor and take care of them or grant them your wrath and eradicate them. But you must take care of many mortals. And you will not do this only once. It will be a consistent thing over the next millennium. You will face mortal after mortal generation. Some are stupider than most. And you will have to pass judgment upon them. Are you willing to do this?"
