[PLEASE STOP ATTACKING ME!!!!!!!!]

Han blinked in shock as the bat suddenly shouted at him. The bat’s mouth was open and Han could see that the inside of its mouth was like a speaker. Does that mean that someone else is talking to me through the bat? Could it be the monster I was attacking?

The bat continued shouting frantically for Han to stop what he was doing and Han listened to it calmly while using his hand to slap away another monster that was trying to come toward him. The monsters were already starting to reduce in number, so Han wasn’t really bothered by their presence anymore. They were like an afterthought and most of them were being cut down by Han’s shadow hunters.

[What sort of skills are you sending at me right now!? I’m trying to talk to you and you’re just attacking me like this!! Just let me reach you, and I’ll definitely kill - I mean, I won’t attack you, so stop attacking me!!]

Han deadpanned and he put his hand out to the side and sent another [Laser Beam] in the direction of the monster! Who the hell did she think she was talking to like that?

[Ahhh!!! What the fuck is wrong with you!!? I won’t attack you! I promise!! Just stop sending those damn lasers!! That thing hurts!]

Han finally scoffed and he finally made all the magic circles around him disappear. He had no idea who this person was, but it was obvious she didn’t have the strength to defeat him if she is this affected by mere lasers. If this woman was strong enough to be a threat, Han was sure she would have easily deflected or avoided the lasers, but the fact that she can’t even do that much already tells Han that she is weak!

He would at least hear her out if she was this desperate to talk to him and if she tries anything stupid, he would just shoot her again. And this time, she will be too close for him to miss.

Han stood for a while and waited for the mysterious woman to finally arrive. Han could see that Gretha and Orochimaru were no longer being overwhelmed by monsters so they were finally making their way over to Han.

After waiting for a while, Han finally noticed a figure coming closer from the horizon. Once he saw her, Han opened one magic circle at the side and immediately placed a spell in it that he could fire at any moment. Han didn’t know if this was a trick or not so it wouldn’t hurt to be cautious.

Rexx noticed the magic circle that Han opened and she stopped in shock as she thought Han was about to shoot at her again! Was he just waiting for me to get closer so he can get a clearer shot!?

Rexx was ready to fly away at a moment’s notice if she sees Han activate a skill, but when she didn’t see him activating any skills for a while she slowly started to come down and she landed on the ground in front of him.

Han and Rexx eyed each other once they got closer. Han had a look of distrust and irritation in his eyes and Rexx had a look of annoyance in her own eyes.

"What the fucking hell do you want from me?"

Han was the one that broke the silence that stretched across the both of them and Rexx blinked in mild surprise at his question. How fucking rude. He didn’t even introduce himself and he immediately started questioning me rudely. Rexx would have spat in Han’s direction for this rudeness, but she knew that doing something like that will only end in her death. Han didn’t look like the sort of person that cared about manners. She folded her hand and answered with as much confidence as possible.

"I - I have a preposition to you from the master of this floor. If you know what’s good for you then it will be in your best interest to listen to what I have to say,"

[Bloodlust] has been activated!!

Rexx suddenly took two steps back with wide eyes as she felt a phenomenal amount of BloodLust fill the air all around them! She immediately knew she said the wrong thing!

She looked at Han and saw that his expression hadn’t changed at all! There was no indication on his face that he was angry, but this BloodLust was definitely from him! What the hell does he think he is doing!?

Han eyed Rexx like she was the dirt under his shoes and when he spoke it was in a dangerously low voice that made Rexx shiver.

"So you think you are doing me a favor right now by bringing this to me? Do you say it’s ’In my best interest’ to listen to what you have to say? Hey, tell me something first. Were you the one that sent these monsters after me?"

Han’s eyes were now red and his hands were tightened into fists. Rexx turned to the side as a nervous sweat ran down her cheek. She couldn’t just say that she was the one that sent it! This man seems like a crazy person that would attack her if she even breathes the wrong way! If she said she was the one that sent these monsters after him then how the hell will she get out of here alive!?

"N-No..."

"Then why the hell can I smell them on you?"

Rexx’s eyes widened and she immediately tried to jump back as she heard Han’s voice from right beside her! How did he get that close without me noticing it!? She tried to use a skill to move away but Han suddenly grabbed her by the throat and rose her up with one hand like she was a toy!

"Grk!!"

Rexx choked immediately and she used both hands to hold Han’s forearm and tried to get him off her! She kicked him and used her fists to hit his forearm but there was no way to get his hands off her! It felt like a tree had wrapped itself around her neck! How is this mortal so strong!? Even after fighting all those monsters, he still has this much strength!?

"I’ve been fighting here for hours and there hasn’t been a single moment of rest, and the person that causes this bullshit suddenly comes to me with an offer for peace? Tell me, do you think I am a fool? Did you think I would bend over and accept your proposal like it was the last breath of air in this forsaken world? You were the one that attacked me first, so perhaps I should finish what you started."

Han’s hand tightened and Rexx released a loud gah! as she felt blood filling her throat! She immediately spoke up before she lost her ability to speak again!

"W-Wait!! Wait!! I was just following orders from the higher-ups! They told me not to let anyone past this point and I didn’t have a choice! Calm down! You can’t just kill me like this!! They’ll never forgive you if you do this!"

Han’s hand tightened even more and a trail of blood started to leak from the side of Rexx’s mouth!! Han didn’t give a fuck if she was just following orders! Why should he care about that? I’ll just kill you and then I’ll go kill whoever was stupid enough to give you those orders in the first place. Han knows that the people on the upper floors have been waiting for him for a long time now. That means that whoever was waiting for him here thought it was necessary to put this stupid test here before Han was allowed access. Just thinking about it really made Han angry! Did they see him as some sort of guinea pig that they can test anytime they want?

"Han... Maybe we should listen to her."

Gretha’s voice reached Han as she touched his shirt from behind to get him to stop. Han turned his head back to look at Gretha. She looked like a mess. Her clothes were torn and there was blood on various parts of her body. Han really didn’t like how much of an idiot Gretha was, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t care for her. He cared for her in the same way that someone would care about a family pet! The pet might be a little stupid, but you still loved it anyway because it was something you adopted.

So seeing Gretha with all those injuries made his blood boil even more. Why the hell would she want him to spare Rexx when Rexx is the cause of all this in the first place? Han narrowed his eyes at Gretha and seethed.

"Why?"

Gretha looked down for a moment before looking back up at Han and the choking Rexx. Gretha just didn’t see the point in killing Rexx when Rexx didn’t even kill a single one of them. Gretha knows that Han is the sort of person who would kill people for an even lesser reason, but it might be a good idea to have Rexx on their side right now since they don’t know anything about this floor!

Han rose a brow when Gretha said this to him. What the hell? Since when does Gretha have this much thinking power? Don’t tell me she actually managed to come up with that logic all on her own!

Gretha frowned as she saw the disbelief in Han’s eyes. For some reason, she couldn’t help but think that Han was insulting her somehow! But it didn’t last long and she just tugged at his shirt again.

"Let’s just hear her out first. I don’t want to stay here longer than I have to. We’re all tired,"

Han narrowed his eyes a little before he finally sighed and allowed his bloodlust to calm down. Han tossed Rexx to the side and he watched her fall down to the ground far below the mountain of dead monsters. He turned back to look at Orochimaru and he saw the snake resting on one side of the floor. Han telepathically spoke to Orochimaru and told it to go back into the shadow world. It already tried its best out here and Han decided to just let it rest since it looked tired. Orochimaru hissed before sliding forward and disappearing into the shadow world.

Once it was gone, Han turned down to look at Rexx on the ground.

"Aren’t you going to get the fuck up from there? Don’t act like your dead from just that fall,"

Once Han said this, Rexx slowly moved from the ground and brought herself up till she was sitting on the floor. She rubbed her neck with one of her hands and she grit her teeth in anger when she felt the sore skin that was there. How humiliating! This was the most humiliating thing that has ever happened to Rexx! How dare a mortal touch her like this! And why was it so... So...

So Amazing~

A hot breath escaped from Rexx’s mouth as she swallowed in excitement. Rexx didn’t want to look up yet because there was a huge blush growing on her face and a loopy smile was spreading on her lips. She felt so embarrassed right now, but she also felt amazing. Like she just experienced heaven for the first time in her life!

Han continued staring at Rexx in annoyance as he waited for her to finally stand the hell up. When she wasted too much time, Han picked up the dismembered head of one of the monsters and threw it at her.

Slam!

The head hit her straight on the head and she heard Han speak up.

"I’m giving you til the count of three before I come over there and tear your arm off. One..."

S-Should I just not stand up? Rexx debated not standing up! Rexx couldn’t believe that she was actually thinking about it! Should she allow Han to come and tear her arm off!? She could always grow back the hand and it would probably feel even better than when Han choked her!

Wait... What the hell am I thinking about right now!? Since when did I like things like this!?
