Pirate Kingship
Chapter 993 - 546: Clash with Dagon, Whale Dominator Fist! (Part 4)
"Valhalla, hold position where you are."
The Ship Spirit turned her head and saw Violet, wearing the First Mate’s Signet Ring, standing right behind her.
Bear in mind, the Ship Spirit had been born into the hands of the Harold Royal Family several hundred years ago, and now the family’s only Direct Lineage descendant was standing right in front of her, with the First Mate’s Signet Ring on her hand.
Her control authority was in no way inferior to that "Thief" wearing the Captain’s Signet Ring.
Stuck between two conflicting commands, torn for a moment, she finally waved her hand; with a series of "bang, bang, bang", all the Warship’s hatches slammed shut, locking all the Kin who were about to rush out and help back inside the ship.
She herself also turned into motes of light and vanished, clearly auto-entering a neutral sleep mode of helping neither side.
With the basic objective achieved, Violet gave a smug grin and walked to the side of the deck, facing toward Byron and Dagon as she rested her right arm on the bulwark.
The brass bullet hanging from her swan-like neck overflowed with golden radiance that spread down her right arm; with a flash of light, it transformed into an oversized bolt-action rifle.
The Second Level Holy Relic Brass Bullet’s ability [Corporeal Weaponization]:
"Can transform any part of the body into any weapon known to Humans, or that exists only on blueprints, and amplify it up to the Middle Sequence limit of a Second Level Holy Relic.
As Whale Oil Metal Cased Rounds grow in influence in the Human world, this Sacred Relics will slowly level up, and its Power will only get stronger and stronger."
The current bolt-action sniper rifle’s performance far outstripped that of the earlier revolver rifle.
Because even modern sniper rifles use bolt-action systems—the most accurate and stable firearm architecture there is.
This beast of a weapon fires 20×110mm rounds, 130 grams per shot, 2.33 meters in length, single-shot manual loading, with a maximum effective range of 1.8 kilometers.
Even a few centuries from now, these specs would still be top of the line.
While spitting out Calamity Curses, she used one hand to trace Runes, layering them onto the bullet in her palm.
[Demon Break], [Desire Explosion], [Death Mark], [Piercing], [Charged Strike]... one layer after another, making the dagger-length bullet shimmer with ominous light.
Then, with a flick of her left hand, a small silver-white revolver appeared; she aimed it at her own head and pulled the trigger without hesitation.
Click! Click!...
Six pulls in a row, and [Death Roulette Bet] boosted the Might of the Big Spear in her hand by 32 times!
On the other side, without the cover of the Legendary Warship, Dagon’s face changed drastically.
He was immediately caught up to by Byron, who smashed him away with a single shot, his entire body skipping across the sea surface like a stone.
Along the way, who knew how many waves in the Primordial Ocean of the collective unconscious he shattered, or how many of the Bayfolk’s sweet dreams he smashed apart.
Blood gushed uncontrollably from both kidneys, staining a vast swath of seawater red.
Back during the Southern Continent colonial War, the Ocean Throne and Dagon had fought a fierce battle; at the time Byron, only a Third Order, couldn’t even follow what he was seeing.
The only time the two had directly clashed was when they joined forces to kill Yemengade, and that still ended with Byron’s arms snapped and three liters of blood vomited out.
But now, their situations had completely reversed.
If it weren’t for [Deceit] Authority and that Mysterious Person whose name couldn’t even be spoken, forcing him to borrow the turbulence of Fate to finish this fast, Byron wouldn’t even need a sneak attack—he could have just crushed the other guy head-on.
"Awooo! Lancaster, I’m going to kill you!"
Several times, Dagon tried to rely on his centuries-deep foundation as a Centennial Pseudo-God to counterattack, to open up his own Divine Domain, but he was violently suppressed every time by Byron and The Golden Deer, which had also smashed its way in here.
He quickly realized that he’d been targeted by this cunning arch-enemy who knew not how long ago; his hard power was lacking, all his Intelligence had leaked, and with the other side coming fully prepared, there was no way they’d give him a chance to turn the tables.
"Run!"
The thought had barely formed when he twisted, Transforming into a brown Sea Swallow—the fastest flying Animal in the Mortal World—beating his wings as he shot into the Sky like an arrow.
The Deep Sea Clan of the Slumbering God Kraken line split into two main branches after ascending to Fourth Order Mythical Creature:
One was like Yemengade, with a jellyfish-like form, adept in Dream Sorcery, known as [Nightmare];
The other was a Human body with a soft-bodied octopus head, able to freely alter its own shape—the [Abyssal Child].
Frey, Freya, and their bloodline-sharing father Dagon were all the latter.
They could not only use Water Elementalization to dissolve all physical attacks, but also possessed extremely formidable Shapeshifting.
Dagon’s talent might be average, but his centuries of experience were rich beyond doubt; he was undeniably a master of Shapeshifting.
Compared to Byron, he was at least a worthy opponent, a proper rival in Transformation.
"No, you’re just showing off your axe in front of a master carpenter!
Get back down here!"
Byron likewise twisted, Transforming into a brown Sea Swallow, yet still overtook him, talons like hooks as he dove for Dagon’s head.
Sensing trouble, Dagon immediately twisted and turned into a larger red-footed booby, striking back at Byron’s head.
Byron refused to back down, Transforming into a Warship Bird, nicknamed the "Robber bird", and slapped back with one wing.
Next, Dagon turned into a hawk, Byron into a golden eagle; Dagon became a McKinley divine eagle, Byron then a Thunderbird...
Chirp, screech, squawk—feathers rained down all over the place.
In the end, lightning exploded across the Sky, and the exhausted Dagon was swatted from above by Byron, who had Transformed into a flying Dragon.
Covered in wounds, he plunged into the water, let out a muffled roar, and with a flick of his tail turned into a massive Tiger Whale, diving for the Deep Sea, preparing to escape from the Deep Sea into the Primordial Ocean.
And his Immortal Stairway Anchoring was "Water", granting him unparalleled advantage in the water.
But he’d only just whipped his tail to dive when Byron turned into the Tiger Whale’s natural enemy—the ultimate street thug of the Ocean... the Humpback Whale.
He roared from his maw:
"Hrah—Whale Dominator Fist!"
His massive flippers gathered the currents, slicing through the water in a single blow, smacking Dagon’s entire whale body right out of the sea.
This all-out strike made Dagon’s spine snap with a sudden "crack".
Right in that brief gap when the Tiger Whale was blasted out of the water, head spinning, with no time to Transform again—
Violet, guarding the ship, had already decisively pulled the trigger.
A crimson rainbow of destruction carved across the sky over the Primordial Ocean of the Bayfolk’s collective unconscious; under the control of a [Gun Demon Spirit], it entered one side of Dagon’s skull and burst out the other.
Boom—!
With 32 times the Might erupting and the titanic kinetic energy it carried, his entire head was blown into Blood Mist!
